Redstorm was surprised that the pony could walk on his hind legs. Even more surprised how he could hit him with a rifle when he was running as fast as he could. He still was one of the fastest runners in all of Equestria.

He rolled his eyes and threw the bow away with the quiver. Then the saddlebag. Red was completely defenceless now. His mouth fell open to what the pony said.

"Oh, you're trying to help me? Nice job. A hole in my hoof was great help!" Red said sarcasticly.

"What the hell are you looking at, you cross-eyed freak?" He yelled to Derpy.

Aurora blinked and growled, "you do know your the one with the AK in his face right,I wouldnt piss off the pony that shot you from 500 yards away while you were running."he says and walks over and falls on all four hooves again,he then places his hoof on his wound as Red feels a soft,cool feeling start to mend his wound.    Derpy blinked and looked down,hurt by his insult.       Lyra blinked and looked to Jaeger "h-huh?...oh...nothing...just a littl cold..."she says and looks down "my name's Lyra."she says.

Jaeger kept a semi surprised face at Lyra, he didn't know how she could've cold, it was hot for him, but everypony was different and he didn't want to judge. He pulled off his blazer and handed it to Lyra. "Here, this should keep you warm, I don't really need it." he said smiling wider, but realized that pulling off his blazer was going to expose all the weapons he had been carrying, his revolver, single action sawed off shotgun, his duel makarovs, and his knife. Ever since his early merc days he had grown ever so slightly more and more paranoid

Lyra blinked and blushed,she didnt want him to know her lie,so she took the jacket,she stared at his many weapons and her jaw dropped "wow...your...prepared..."she says and blinks,shaking her head in astonishment.      Derpy blinked and felt like crying,she knew she was different...she hated her eyes...and now...he insulted her fragile self.

Red frowned. "Yippee, you shot one of the fastest runners in the whole Equestria, you want a medal or something?"

Pulling his hoof back from Aurora, Red growled. "You stay the hell away, got it? I don't need your help."

Walking safely towards the saddlebag, he smirked. The stallion couldn't kill him. He would've done it a long time ago. Red pulled out some salve, bandage and a knife. Biting his lip once more, he tried to get the bullet out. It was easier than he expected. After the wound was clear, he put some salve on it and wrapped it in the bandage. He looked back at the rest of the group and noticed the cross-eyed pony was looking sad.

"Yeah you cry..." He muttered. Usually, he wasn't so evil but he had to take his anger out on somepony.

Jaeger blushed at Lyra. "Yeah....it's one of the perks of being a mercenary I guess." he said awkwardly trying to hide his paranoia. He looked over at Derpy and saw how much she was hurt and then turned his gaze to Red. "How little somepony could pay me to blow off that pretty little head of yours." he thought gritting his teeth

Aurora growled and threw down his rifle and punched the pony in the face,making sure he felt it "your a real dick you know that?"he said and growled,his iris' changed red as he readied to dodge a hit "your nothing compared to me...if you want to die in a wasteland,the unforgiving land of the damned...then you do that...but if you show your face around here again...I will not take mercy on you...one last fucking chance kid...say your sorry...or go away."he growls,Aurora wouldnt take any bull shit from anypony.    Derpy gasped at Aurora when he punched Red,he usually wasent this mean or violent...he must have really pissed him off...       Lyra blinked and stared at Red...how dumb could this pony be?

The punch made Red's anger explode.

"YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF TRASH! THE ONLY REASON  YOU'RE ALIVE RIGHT NOW IS THE HIGH-TECH STUFF THAT YOU CARRY AROUND, OKAY!? I'M NOT GOING TO SAY SORRY TO YOU!  YOU SHOT ME IN THE FOOT! YOU THINK THAT'S NOT PAINFULL AT ALL!?"

Red quickly grabbed one of his arrows that were stil on the ground and stabbed Aurora in the shoulder with it, twisting the arrow as it went in.

"Next time it won't be your shoulder!" Red yelled as he grabbed his pistol and flew upwards.

Aurora looked at the arrow and laughed at it  "you truly are dumb as hell."he says and pulls the arrow out,snapping it in half and pulling out his own pistol,flying up and grabbing Red's head,swinging him around then throwing him to the ground,he shot down like a bullet and landed on Red's stomach,cracking his ribs and glaring at him,of course,the arrow did hurt him...but...he was in rage mode,sooo...yeaaah...of course,he would suffer the conquinces later.

Jaeger had seen enough. He looked at lyra . "One second." he said as he pulled out his sawed of shot gun and fired it into the air. "HEY!" he yelled "YOU GUYS DONE!" he continued "cause we've for bigger things to worry about right now, or did you forget?" he asked sarcastically

((Wow, Aurora is like a fucking terminator...))

 

Red screamed in pain as Aurora landed on him.

*I get killed by a pony who stands on two legs...* He thought and looked Aurora in the eye. His vision was starting to get blurry... that never was a good sign. A few more seconds... and Red blanked out.

((OOC: well,he was trained to harness pain,he used to get beat the hell out of...litterally...he got torutured...sooo...that seemed like nothing but a fly...atm anyway...))

Aurora blinked and looked at Jaeger and Lyra,then to the other ponies,her gulped softly and looked back down,he saw a trickle of blood seep out the side of Red's mouth and he cursed himself silently,he then dragged Red to the ponies,he tied to be as delecate as possible,he layed Red on his saddlebags and took away his bow and pistol,he sighed and looked around,he then got some gauss out of his bag and wrapped the hurt pony's chest up,making sure it was snug but not crushing,he sighed and shook his head,he sat down and held out his hooves,healing Red with as much of his energy he could muster,but,it only helped by making his bones piece back together,they were cracked,but mended.     Derpy sighed and stared at the pony,she didnt hate him...she understood his anger...     Lyra jumped when Jaeger shot his gun in the air and almost hid.

Jaeger popped out the shell and put a new one in its place. "Thank you geez." he said as he looked back at Lyra and went to comfort her. "Hey it's fine I was just trying to make a point, Aurora is very stubborn and I do t think he would have stopped. Sorry for scaring you." he said softly

Sparkshower used magic to check vitals on Red "He's still alive" her voice cracked she was still crying. "I don't know how strong he is but his hearts definitely beating. ",she began to wonder if she and aurora would ever talk about... it... or if life would always get in the way

Lyra blinked and sighed,looking down "its ok."she says,sitting down tiredly "I got woken up by yelling...then by hearing gunshots..."she says and closes her eyes "I'm sleepy."she says and yawns,falling back asleep.     Aurora sighed and looked at Red,then to Jaeger and Spark "...yeah...hope he isnt dumb anymore...I'll stay up with him...make sure he gets through the night alive...you guys,just...go back to sleep."he says,looking at Red.       Derpy sighs and curls up against Lyra again.

Sparkshower went and laid down by the creek. she was still crying but silently, eventually she fell asleep. That was her mistake. An image spiraled into veiw, It was Aurora, on the day he left, she had seen the goodbye in his eyes long before he could speak. She saw the whole scene again. The nightmare jolted her awake, she was sure she had cried out.

Aurora sat awake all through the night and sighed and blinked,making sure Red didnt die...he truly did want to help this stallion...but...he has to learn,he shot him because he wouldnt listen,not to do it just to shoot him,if he had let him go on,he would have died,slowly and painfully.

Jaeger sat up, he couldn't sleep, this predicament was to much for him he turned his head to see Spark down by the creek bank, he turned his gaze to see Lyra and Derpy under his blazer. He smiled and got up. He walked and sat adjacent to Aurora. "So, how much have I missed while I was gone." he said beginning to doodle in the sand with a stick.

Aurora sighed "not much pal...me getting beat mostly...now my shoulder hurts like hell...I already bandaged and dissinfected it...I should be good..."he says and looks to the dirt "if we can't find the Princesses...what do you thin will happen?"he asked Jaeger,not looking to him.

Red awoke silently. He quietly observed his surroundings and seeing that the stallion who nearly killed him was sitting besides him, he tried to get up, but the pain in his ribs couldn't allow it. He truly wanted to stomp the pony into dirt, but he also wanted to get away.

"So... am I your prisoner now? Or are you going to let me go?" He asked, realizing it was the only way out.

Jaeger was about to awnser Auroras question, but he was cut off when Red started to talk. He pulled out his sawed off and layed it next to him just in case. He looked up at Aurora to see his answer, he knew that this pony wasn't a prisoner, but things have changed and he wasn't sure what to expect

Aurora blinked and looked down at him "neither...listen,we hit it off to a bad start...I'm sorry I shot you and nearly killed you...your ribs are cracked...you wouldnt make it a week alone...we need more strong surviviors,like you..."he says,looking down at the red pony

Redstorm blinked. The last time he saw this pony, he was a killing machine that would kill him no matter what. And he was right. Even though his shelter wasn't far away from here, he would still die. The only option was to tag along until maybe he could continue on his own.

"Okay... uh... sure." Red muttered back.

"Where are you headed anyway?" He asked, looking around for his stuff.

Aurora sighed and looked away "some other town...that reminds me...you need one of these."he says,handing him a gas mask,he blinked at Red and said with a kinder tone "My name is Aurora."he says,holding out the mask.            Derpy was asleep beside Lyra,both warm under the trench coat.

Sparkshower was unable to get back to sleep, she finally gave up and walked over to Aurora. She laid down beside him keeping her head up and her wings tucked in. When he looked at her she said "can't sleep" she hoped like hell he wouldn't notice the scars around her wings, but he probably would, he had very keen eyes.
