Inside the Dark Realm, Lord Darkspine, the ruler of the whole realm, sat on his throne and looked over his vast empire. To him, it looked glorious. It consisted of many different worlds and civilizations, and they were all his. He spent centuries collecting these worlds and adding on to his empire. However, there was something missing; one civilization. A world he once ruled, but was pulled away from his grasp, leaving him to rot in the black void he made his empire out of. He pulled up a projector to look over his missing world; Equestria.

"My, oh my. Things have changed so much over the past centuries." He said, changing the projector's view to inside the castle in Canterlot castle, where he saw Celestia and Luna.

"What?? THEY are still ruling?!" He slammed his hoof on the table. "Unbelievable! That should be MY throne!" He then thought for a minute. "But, with my new empire and army, that world should be mine for the taking!" He exclaimed.

He then called in the commander of his army. "Prepare the soldiers. I'm reclaiming what was rightfully mine!" He commanded. The commander nodded and left the room. Darkspine set course for Equestria. Now, I will destroy the princesses and claim your world for my realm..."

Light sat alone in a meadow, thinking for a while. He's had nightmares of a terrible entity, but he couldn't point out who it was. He was happy, though. He had his friend Blast with him in tough times, his claymore [[[[OOC: it's in my OC, it's a normal claymore. No power. Look it up.]]]], and he was content. That's when he stood up. "Well, I'm quite bored of sitting." Said Light to himself. "I'll do some walking, and see what's going on. Better leave this here though." Light said, putting his claymore away. He couldn't use it now, plus, it would only come to him in desperate situations. Light began to stride into the dawn, not looking back.

Fireblaze was sleeping in his Lava in his mountain home next to Ponyville, as he was waking up then shaking the lava off of him while he was walking towards the hole going outside and yawing too. "I wounded what Dash up to? I am going to go see her and see if she want a race with me?"

Then Fireblaze flew into the air and then heading to Clousdale see Rainbow Dash.

Blasted Nova, a young scarlet earth pony, was running through the plains of Equestria, not having a care in the world. The wind blew through his mane as he ran at super sonic speeds. He ran past his best friend, Light Streak, in a meadow, waving at him as he ran by.

Pacific kept traveling, as always. This time something didn't feel right, although he couldn't quite figure out why. He just assumed he was imagining things and continued traveling. "I know something's wrong... But what could it possibly be?" He said, mostly talking to himself.

Light waved back at Blast as he kept walking. Light knew something wasn't right, but it escaped him. He drew closer and closer to his home, and he began to fly to his destination. In doing so, he flew through a dark cloud. "Agh!" Light cried out as he plummeted from the cloud. "My Celestia, what WAS that?!" Light shouted as the cloud disappeared. It was as if that cloud was in his nightmares. Like it HELD his nightmares.

Jaeger sat atop the castle in Canterlot, smoking his pipe and admiring the view of the land that the castle over looked. "Ahhhh Equestria. You just get more beautiful as you age, don't you?" he thought, laughing to himself, letting out a puff of smoke. He had not had a contract from his mercenary supervisor in a few weeks and it gave him time to enjoy the things he rarely ever got to do, like admire the landscape.

Starting over Canterlot, dark clouds began to form around the sky. There was almost no blue in the sky in sight. There was one spot the clouds didn't clear up, though. That part appeared to be very back. That spot appeared to be producing some kind of dark, powerful matter.

Jaeger looked up at the sky, and then to his watch, "That's weird, I thought the next scheduled thunder storm was next week." he said looking back up to see a section of the clouds that was darker than the others, to the point were it didn't even look like clouds anymore. "This cant be good." he muttered to himself, putting his pipe back in his bag and diving off the castles tower and glided to his small house in Ponyville.

Fireblaze keep flying as he see a dark cloud over head while thinking as he was heading to clousdale too and then thinking about this. "I don't think Rainbow Dash Weather team did this? But this wasn't happen to day. I better ask Rainbow Dash for this and see what she think about this." Then FIreblaze keep flying towards Clousdale.

Pacific looked ahead towards where he was going. Canterlot, a terrible place for a changeling. what made it even worse was that there was some dark cloud in the sky. "What is that thing?" He asked. When he got there he would find somepony who knew something about it and ask them.

"No..." Said Light, "It Is as I have feared. My nightmares were true." Lamented Light as he started to walk toward a very strange-looking cloud in the back of the group of clouds. When it was directly above him, he inspected it closely, and realized that this wasn't normal. "Great." Said Light in a grim tone.

Steel had been working on a contract when the clouds appeared "this can't be good"steel said as he flew to the castle and stood in top of its highest point he studied the clouds are part in the back gave of some kind of energy it reminded steel of the void where he and demonblood where doomed to go when they died

Oh sure, just ignore me why don't ya? Pacific thought. It was something a friend had always said, so he had to try it once. "Well, there's always the possibility that something's in there..." Pacific pointed out. He was probably going to get ignored, but he had to try.

"I don't know... But I'm checking it out!" Shouted Light, readying for take-off. As he took off and landed in the clouds, Light grabbed his head in agony. "Agh! Not... Not this time!" Shouted Light, opening his eyes. He saw a dark figure sitting on a throne. It looked at him as Light fell out of the sky and landed with a thud.

Blast looked at the other pony (Yeah, it's Pacific) "Probably."He said. "It feels like it's spewing out some kind of powerful magic. It's probably doing something to the land. We just can't feel it beneath our hooves." Blast assumed, looking up at the darkness. There was nothing but pitch blackness beyond it.

Fire was in Ponyville, in his magical item shop, the day was unusually quiet. He looked up into the sky to see dark clouds forming, blocking out all the light.

"Well, that's strange, it's a bit early for night-time, and I don't think anypony would schedule a thunderstorm." Fire said to himself.

"Hm... Well I would check it out, but I don't have my wings right now." Pacific said. IDIOT! His mind shouted at him. He had just clearly showed them that he was a changeling without even thinking about it. Hopefully they would be more focused on the cloud though.

The portal seemed to stop spewing magic and started spewing something else; an army of creatures. The creatures didn't look like anything Blast had ever seen before. They were much taller than anypony in Equestria and they looked very well built. You couldn't really see them, though. Their whole bodies were covered in steel armor. It was nearly impossible to see even an inch of skin beyond they're armor.

The portal seemed to stop spewing magic and started spewing something else; an army of creatures. The creatures didn't look like anything Blast had ever seen before. "What are those things?" Pacific asked. "And why can't my fangs go through armor like everyone else's?" He asked, mostly to himself. He didn't care about revealing himself anymore, he was more focused on what these creatures were and how he could stop them.

"Ya think?!" Pacific asked, slightly annoyed. "If my fangs aren't gonna help I don't think a stupid weapon is gonna do any better." He didn't know why, but he had completely snapped. He was ready to go up and take them on himself. He knew it was a terrible idea, but it was better than what anypony else was doing.

Jaeger turned as he saw creatures, he had no idea what they were or where they came from. "What? I thought it was just a storm, now I'm not sure what it is." he thought as he threw off his cloak revealing a red tattoo, that ran up his front right leg. "Scythe of Anger." he muttered, causing the tatto to form into a long red scythe which he held over his shoulder. He jumped into the air and flew up into the air, looking for somepony who could aid him, or who he could aid himself.

Fire looked up into the sky, armored ponies filled the air everywhere.

"Now that's not good." Fire locked his doors and stood back from them. This was invasion, this had to be, why else would there be armored ponies flying about everywhere. Then he looked up at the portal, it seemed to be spewing the things. Whatever was attacking would be through that portal.
