It is because of the true simplicity in the hearts that we caress so dearly within our hands

Beating and shining as a an example of the truest dignity for which we all find our purpose residing

Yet our lives only inch further into despair with every beat allowed to prosper in the confines of our palms

Seeking a knowledge which is not there

Finding a fallacy to believe upon when no other dreams survive

Here in the hollowed cavity that is our human chest

Devoid of a beating point of endurance, as it now resides in our hands

Which contain the beating for all to see

And upon our hands is the stain of our curiosity, preventing the growth of our bodies

By taking away the blood that makes us
