"Uhhhh" I said as the world slowly began to gain focus around me. Ok. I thought, where are I and why am I hanging from the ceiling? A quick look around revealed a room with a guy on a t.v. saying he wanted to play a game and an unconscious pegasus at one end of the room. Well. I thought, I'll play his game but he will pay. Though first how to get out of these chains....

The floor below Blacklight opened up to reveal a pit with spinning blades. The wall behind Mint Drop opened to reveal the same style.

"This game is very simple, if Night Dart steps backwards towards his death, then you will be lowered down and the floor will close and he will die, but if he chooses to live, then all he has to do is walk forward and press a button that will release you both, but you will fall to your death."

Jigsaw laughed maniacally and vanished from the T.V.

Humm...I thought, what type of pony takes enjoyment from this and I got to wake up that pegasus over there. "Hey!" I yelled. No reponse. "Hey!" I yelled, same thing. Humm...I hope he's ok but I guess I'm going to hang here for a while till he wakes up, but I think a plan coming along.

Pink looked around in the dark and noticed a drain near her leg. 

 

Dishes...dishes!! The key must be in that drain. Come on you gotta help me. Try to move a little towards me when I move forward, that way it'll be easier to get the key.

 

She looked down into the drain and noticed sharp blades on the sides.

 

Ouch, okay so how do we get this thing open? I can try with my hoof to push it out.

Ace studied the drain for a moment, "Uh, maybe I should try to get the key maybe you won't be able to get the drain out?" Ace asked he wasn't a fan of having to get the key himself but he felt like he had to be the one to try to get the key. "I'm not saying your weak but..." Ace couldn't think of a way to explain why he should grab it.

Jigsaw appeared on the screen once more, "It is not the simple, Flying Ace. You are too far from the drain to even reach it, and the key goes to your lock. If she manages to get it and hands it over, you can just simply escape yourself and leave her to her death!" the timer returns to the screen as Jigsaw laughs insanely.

I'm not weak. Just trust me. I'm the closest one like he said, I can get this out. I've been in rough situations before, I just hope we get out of this alive.

 

But if I manage to get the key out, you need to promise me that you won't leave me here. Please, I'm doing this for you, so you need to help me once you break free.

 

Pink looked at Ace pleadingly, hoping with all her heart that he wouldn't let her die.

 

Please. Now, you have any ideas on how I can get this thing open? Or maybe there's gotta be a way I can get the key out without removing the drain.

Jigsaw appeared on the screen once the timer hit zero and laughed as he watched the two cough and gag on the toxic gas. They spat up their own blood. After much pain the two finally succumbed to the poison and died. "This game is over." the screen turns off as his laugh echoed through the room

"I can barely dodge the trap by geting injured" he said as he waited for it to fire so he can narrowly avoid it. "I'm not during today...but I'll lose a limb if I have to in order to survive" He said as he prayed that his sister will be safe from this mad man that has him trapped

As soon as the timer hit zero, i spear shot out from the far side of the room towards Equinox Sin. Jigsaw watched as another pony will fall to his enjoyment. He already had more ways to play games with ponies going through his wicked, twisted, evil mind

Equinox jumped to the side a little to soon and got hit in the side and pinned to the wall. He screamed in pain as he laughed. "Mother...Father...I'm coming to see you now" He said as he slowly bleed out. "Sister...I'm sorry I wont be there to see you again" He said as he looked at a camera that was watching him. "Fuck you" He mouthed before he died

Night Dart vaguely heard a voice calling "Hey! Hey!" and was confused.
Why is somepony else in the Everfree? He thought, wearily opening his eyes, expecting to see the tufts the cloud he had made into his bed. What he saw, though, looked nothing like a cloud. His pale gold eyes widened and he stood up and looked around.
"What the--?" he asked nopony in particular, noticing the spinning blades behind him and in the floor nearby. He also noticed the shackles on his front hooves. Raising a foreleg to inspect them, he realized that this probably wasn't the time. He looked around again and noticed another pony, hanging above the open floor.
"Who are you?" he asked.

After a couple of minutes I noticed the other pegasus beginning to wake up. He looked first at the blades, then the chains, and finally asked "who are you?". "Look, my name is Blacklight and we don't have much time to get out of this." I said. "Right now you and I are attached to the same set of chains..I think." "All I know right now is if you go backwards, you die, but I get lowered to the floor safely. If you go forward press that button, I'll fall to my death, but you live. Though neither one of has to die because I have a plan!"

Night Dart peered at the stallion suspiciously for a moment, but decided he didn't have much of a choice but to trust him. Besides, he wouldn't let another pony die by his hooves on purpose...Not again. He sighed and rubbed his groggy eyes, trying to think of a backup plan in case this one wouldn't work.
"Alright, what is it?" He asked.

"Alright here's the plan" I said, " I'm going to start swinging on the chains and I want you at the button. At the count of three you press the button and hopefully when the chains release, I'll have enough momentum that I can make to your side. Do you get all that?"

Night Dart nodded. "Alright, i was thinking of the same thing." 

Rubbing his pale gold eyes again, he looked around. Given that it was bright in the room, his vision was diminished.
Damn curse... he grumbled to himself.
"Sorry, but could you sort of... tell me where said button is? I get extremely nearsighted when it's bright..." he said.

Well that might be a problem, I thought. "look around the button should be ahead of you I know that, but don't fall into the pit." I said the fatigue in my hooves beginning to get to me. "Once you get to it, tell me, but don't press it till I'm ready." Let's hope this is the only problem we face.

Night Dart chuckled apologetically and looked around. Squinting, he could see the outline of... something on the wall ahead of him. Mindful of the pit, he made his way over. Once close enough, he could see that it was indeed the button.
"Got it. Tell me when you're ready," he said, turning his head to face the stallion and grinning awkwardy

"ok." I said in relief ever mindful of the timer getting ever closer to zero. I began to build up momentum as I shouted, " Ready, One (you can do this), Two ( Come on Blacklight), Three! (what am I doing)" Oh I hope this works I thought to myself or this is going to end really badly.

We can do this, we can do this, we can--
"Three!" the stallion shouted, and Night Dart slammed his hoof on the button immediately, releasing both of their shackles. He turned around to see if his 'roommate' of sorts had made it.

Jigsaw appeared on the screen. "Congratulations, but the game is not over," the screen changes to show a pony strapped tightly to a chair that is submerged in water, leaving only his head out. His mouth was covered by a cloth that blocks him from talking. "The pony you see here is my new victim. The water he sits in is completely harmless, but with every passing hour, a dose of battery acid will be pumped into it. Over time the water will be too acidic and will eventually melt his body, killing him. Good luck finding him." With that said, the t.v. turned off and the door to the room opened.

My landing was anything but gracefull. Unknown hours of hanging off the ceiling had taken out most if the feeling in my hooves...so when I landed. My hooves basically collapsed under me. Sending me tumbling across the floor, stopping a few feet from the other stallion. After a few moments of making sure I was still alive I tried to stand up greet the stallion who had saved me. Though with my hooves weakened from earlier I faceplanted. "Owww." I said while wondering so this is what floor taste like.

"Er... nice landing, there..." he chuckled awkwardly. "I'm Night Dart, and right after telling me your name and getting your balance back, we'd better go find that pony. I hate seeing innocent ponies get killed, and I hate whoever's doing this."

Thanks" I said, grabbing the hoof greatfully. Though still a little shaken from earlier I managed to stay on my hooves this time. "Well," I said," Nice to meet you Night Dart and like I said earlier my name is Blacklight. As for finding the pony who did this to us, why don't you look around a bit for anything that looks like a door while I try to regain some more feeling in my hooves."
