Pony Profile Drawing

Just wanted to post this here to get a bit of feedback and criticism. I haven't really drawn a pony from this angle for a while, so just tell me if something seems a bit off. 

 

But the big ears on my drawings is a bit of style, but honestly its just a bad drawing habit.

You did a really good job on this, considering it's your first time doing this angle especially!

 

The only thing that I can identify that looks wrong to me is the line on his ear. It's supposed to be on the front of the ear to reflect where the 'inside' of the ear is, I think.

I think is brave of you try this head angel, there not many that do that i feel cause there not much referees to go by. But I think really look quit cool this 3Q back-view. And as far as proportions go think is accurate. But then also using different style, i see with pony you done, having larger ears. So can't judge to much because of that. Am more familiar with with MLP series  style making ponies. But i say it look's good!

Yeah, I wasn't too sure where I should place that line. No matter what I did it seemed a bit out of place.

Yeah, I should really draw directly on the computer more, it seems I make the poses more correct when I do.

Nice work! I think you a great job on it especially this is quite a challenging angle.

Given the angle here, his right ear should be also visible.

 

Also...not sure if it's your artstyle, but it seems like you're drawing with a kinda binary brush? (No smoothing out the edges)

Yeah, I like really pixely lines... I blame working with MS paint for so long, and with my program it makes it easier to make transparent.

 

Also would the ear be visible near the topmost part of his head between the two spikes? I wasn't too sure and I didn't want to make it look goofy.

I really do find this piece to be remarkable, mostly because of the lineart; it's very well done. Pretty basic work in total, but very well made, and even more remarkable for being created in MS Paint. Great job!

Hehe, I will have to say this was made in the new program I'm trying out, but looking at it I could definitely make it in Paint. It would be a bit difficult since there aren't, but I've certainly done harder drawings. Thanks for the comment though.

Anyways, I like the style of the drawing, however I must say that the ear looks a little bit weird. Not sure what's wrong with it but maybe it's cause you made it look more like a mountain and less like the shape of an american football

 

Also, I saw that you like pixly but it looks better with smooth lines!

And what do you mean with this? :3

Hehe.. He's a colt. And yeah, the program I use doesn't allow for transparent backgrounds. It only allows white colored backgrounds... But it is the only program I can use my mouse to make lineart on.

 

I agree the ear looks weird, but I wasn't too sure how to draw it correctly from that perspective. Probably should have looked at refs. :/

Your style is so adorable and has very much potential. If you want help I could make a redline and explain a bit what could make the final results better? You don't have to change anything on this particula drawing but learning new things helps any artist!

Ooh yes, that would be wonderful if you were to do a redline. Thank you so much, you are too kind.   I don't know if I actually have the original file but seeing what needs to be improved would be great.

Well, as others have already pointed out, this is a somewhat tricky perspective for ponies.

What I would recomen is shortening the jawline and moving the mane "into the neck" (towards our left).
