Hello everypony :) So I recently thought about possibly making some wallpapers and sharing them with all of you. But I kind of lacked inspiration. Until I found a forest picture on Google that just made a lightbulb turn on in my brain. :lol:

 

Here you have it my first wallpaper, subject is Snowdrop.

And here's a Fluttershy one I made last night. :) I downloaded some new Photoshop brushes and I used two of those to make this happen. I hope it came out nice :squee:

Even if this next one isn't MLP related I still feel like putting it on here because I really LOVE how it came out. :D

And here's a little something I made today in tribute to best pony! :lol: Hope you guys like it :D

Here's one I made for the fabulous Rarity :D Used a sunbeam brush to give that glow behind the vector and I made her a bit transparent so she could blend in more :)

Leave some feedback if you want and I'm gonna make some more of these based on other characters so stay tuned for updates in the future ;)

So cute! Here's a tip though:

 

You kind of want the subject to blend in with the picture. It was pretty good for a start, but it doesn't look right if the background is real and the subject is clipart/cartoony. It works if you have the same color scheme, though.

 

Other than that, good job! biggrin.png

The lighting and frosty effect you pulled off here is impressive. Much better than what I can do at the moment.

 

At least, I've been getting a little better with photoshop lately though.

 

By better, I mean I finally figured what some of the most basic tools do. I'm such a fail. :P haha

But seriously, I love it. Snowdrop is such an adorable and cute OC, and I think the background here fits her perfectly. 

 

Just keep at it. Keep practicing and I'm sure you'll get even more better at this. :P

So cute! Here's a tip though:

Thanks for the tip. :) Glad you liked it. I'm gonna get better with doing these in the future, it's just that I saw the forest and immediately thought of Snowdrop for some reason. I just adjusted the color of the pic to fit with her coat slightly.

Sorry if I sounded a bit mean, but I was just trying to prevent you from trying to make these:  

 

real_life_pony___rainbow_dash__1_by_demm

 

You kind of want people to believe it and make it look worthy of being on somepony's desktop. Again, sorry! xc I'm using the Snowdrop wallpaper now, though.. :3

I do really appreciate the feedback. Yeah that's why I made sure the real background was kind of blurred out by the snow stuff in front ^_^

Yeah I used a star brush to add that around the letters :lol: I thought the letters looked too plain without it :huh: I'm glad you liked it Sanderspie :D

This is the only LPS wallpaper I'll be posting here even though I'll make more, this is MLP Forums after all :P 

 

I just wanted to post this so I can really see how much my work has improved by looking at the first post so let me know what you guys think :)

Great job on the artwork! :D I saw the animation about Snowdrop and how she explained to the other ponies that they should embrace winter because of the snow. What's nostalgic about it is how Luna missed Snowdrop and that Luna commented, "Snowdrop was the only one who understood the night."
