The comic for MLP

Not sure if this is suppose to be sugar cube or not.

 

I have a sight that has been sitting on my book mark list for like,

months and i've finally broken down to down load and peak at some issues.

 

Not sure where to start.  Any suggestions?

LIke any gems?

I haven't read much of the comics, so I'll try to recommend based on most of the general consensus is

 

As far as the main series is concerned, the Changeling(1-4), Nightmare Rarity(5-8) and Big Mac(9-10) arcs have been very solid. However the Cadance and Shining Armor comics have been kind of a mixed bag, and I personally don't care much for the two, so the comic didn't do much for me. The EQG annual is also a mixed bag

 

As for the Micro's, it didn't get good until the Rarity Comic, which many consider the best of all of the comics. I've also heard good things AJ, Pinkie's the CMC's and Celestia's. I've heard mixed things about FS and Twilight's, so I'd say it's a coin toss for those two(truth be told I heard people just didn't like the art for Twilight's). And whatever you do stay the hell away from the Double Rainboom Comic adaptation Rainbow Dash Micro, as it does a huge disservice to the show's canon and Rainbow Dash herself(somehow even more so than the MMDW imo, which is an achievement in and of itself)

Here are my thoughts on them.

 

Main series

The Return of Queen Chrysalis (issues 1-4)

Good plot and concepts, but the humor and art are...flawed.

Nightmare Rarity (issues 5-8)

READ IT AND LOVE IT!  NOW!

Art of Zen and Gazebo Repair (issues 9-10)

Funny little slice of life story with lots of our favorite background ponies (except for Applejack).

Neigh Anything (issues 11-12)

Awesomely hilarious love story!

 

And the rest...

Micro-series

A pretty good series.  You can start with any issue.

Equestria Girls

It's a good story, but destroyed my precious head-canon.
