She smiled. "Oh, good. I didn't want to put you in shock." Then she finally noticed his appearance. 'Wow. Wowie wow. I am surprised he doesn't have a marefriend.' She thought. She blushed. Thinking about him made her do it. And it was her new habit. 'Blush alert! Tone it down!' She thought. 'Eeep! I'm... in... NOPE! We're just friends.' She thought again. "We could go to uhm... Well, Ponyville has, like, zero coffee shops." She joked.

The news that Ponyville did not have any true coffee shops was not all that surprising. Guardian sighed, but immediately perked back up as an idea struck his head, but at the same time he blushed twice as hard. "We could go to one of our houses for the coffee." As the wards left his mouth, he sounded way too assertive in this matter. "If that is okay with you." He quickly added.

"Well, it's a good idea, since the only eatery we have is Sugarcube Corner...and Pinkie overdid it on cider last night." Soaring said, giggling. "Whose house?" 'Mine is messy, with Aloe fluttering about.' She thought. Her pet pigeon was clumsy and maybe a liiiittle stupid. "Wherever you want. I don't mind." Soaring blushed, yet again. 'Ohhh. I've got it BAD.' She thought. She chuckled, fluttering her wings much like Scootaloo did, rapid and out of happiness.

"Well,it's getting pretty late, want to continue this conversation tomorrow,over some lunch?" Sparky said excitedly,he really wanted to know more about her, something about her intrigued him, but he was very tired and remembered that he left some wire near the school,so he planned to pick it up after the two made their arrangements.

Ambrose blushed. "Um sure, o-or w-we c-c-could meet later t-today, i-its only t-the m-morning." She said shyly. It would be nice to finally know another inventer, one who enjoyed the same topics as she did. Maybe lunch would be fun. You never knew. "W-where, should w-we meet?"

Guardian rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "Well, I just got back only yesterday and I don't have anything to make coffee with." He then got another great idea. "I know, why don't you come along with me to the market so we can get everything we need." his smile beaming on his face, and his blush never faded.

"Well, I guess we can meet here,and figure it out from there," Sparky said nervously, Noticing her blush, he begins to blush himself, "Er,see you tomorrow,I better get started picking up this wire I left all over the place."

"Okay!" Soaring smiled, her blush brightening in color. "Sounds good." She mind-squeed and thought a moment. 'Make a move? No, he'd think I'm crazy!' She mentally slapped herself. "S-shall we?" She asked, very nervously. She shifted her hooves, still smiling.

"So, ill see you h-here at s-say... 12." Ambrose asked. She the was type of pony that became slowly more confident the more she talked. "Ill see you later Sparky." She said, and then trotted away, very pleased with herself.

"Y-yes... I-I would r-recommend it..."
"I-it's okay... An-and... S-s-sure..." Sunset mumbled timidly, feebly attempting a small smile, which felt weird on her lips. She rarely smiled. Looking out the window, she saw it was morning. They'd ben talking all night.
Her face remained red as she slowly got up.
"U-u-umm.... W-well, it's morning, s-s-so we'd prob-bably get g-going... I-I think miss Tw-Twilight Sparkle w-w-will get m-mad at us..." she said, timidly walking past him to the section's exit. As she walked, out, she saw and heard other ponies, who would easily see and notice her. They would stare at her. She back-pedaled quite a bit so she was out of their sight, ears flattened. She fell into sort of a laying position and covered her face with her hooves, trying to pretend that if she couldn't see others, they couldn't see her, even though she knew it wasn't true, and she was back in plain sight of Dusk Shadow.
"Th-th-th-then ah-gain, m-maybe I-i'lll just st-stay here..." she squeaked.
I don't want to go back to the orphanage anyway.

((Whoa, wait. Did we just jump to daytime already? Jeez, I kind of wished I could have gotten a chance to get somewhere else...))

 

Stellar woke up the next morning in her bed, a book over her face, and a mattered mane. She had been up all night, ignoring any sort of pony that night to focus more on the constellations that avoided her, diligently working more and more on her work. She really didn't want to go outside at all, she just wanted more sleep... But her stomach was rumbling, and she barely had any food left in her pantry. 

 

Ugh... I'm going to have to get up anyways... I don't need to deprive myself of any more starvation...

 

20 minutes later, she went out of her home, a book in hoof, and started to head to a nearby cafe.

Dusk, looked over at Sunset. "H-here, y-you c-can walk with me. We will l-leave together.". Dusk said. he felt like there was something else holding her back. He wasn't quite sure though. "Is there a-anything else you n-need?"

Sunset uncoverred her right hoof to timidly peer at him from behind her mane.
"N-n-no, I-I don't need any-anything e-else," she squeaked. "U-um, and i-it's ok-kay... I-i don't w-w-want to h-hold you up... I-I-I'll just wait until they're g-gone..."

"Am going to wait with you then, i w-wont l-leave a friend behind." Dusk said. He had mastered his voice with Sunset, and wasn't studdering as much. "Dont worry about it, i can start reading as i wait with you. Unless you want to talk about something. Its no bother really."

Sunset blushed lightly as he called her his friend. She wasn't used to being a friend to any pony, let alone a stallion. For some reason, she let herself conceding to letting him wait with her, but she wasn't sure about walking with him.
"B-but sti-still, y-y-you don't n-need to walk me-me ho-ho-ho-home..." she mumbled. 
"Th-that's okay, I-I don't want to stop you fr-from reading..."

"Where abouts do you live, am wondering if if its not that far from my house, or if its on the way. You never know" He said. He was happy to wait, and walk her home, where ever that was for her. He felt like she was hiding something from him.

(Hahaha,  I just had to make that (I wasn't serious about it, so please excuse the sloppiness. It was made in about 5 minutes.)(You'll get it if you play MineCraft, which if I remember correctly, you do.)) 

Sunset winced when he asked where she lived. She really didn't want to tell, but sshe couldn't think of a way out of answering, and she refused to lie.
"I-I-I l-live... i-i-in the local or-or-orphanage..." she whimpered, staring at her scarred hooves, which were now on the ground.

"If you w-want you c-can come stay with me. I d-dont want to intrude, but i have an extra room. Nobody is ever there, if you want you can stay the night." He said. He was blushing he was scared he had embarresed her. She didn't seem to like the oprhanage. "You don't have to be scared of me, i will never make fun of you."

Guardian beamed when Soaring said that she will go to the market with him. He thought it was cute the way she would flutter her wings when she gets excited. Now, with the goal sent in mind, Guardian set out to the market place. "Come on Soaring, let's go before the rush gets there" he said playfully.

If I just stay the night, I'll have to go back to the orphanage tomorrow... it'll just be weird, and bothering him for that much longer. Even if he won't make fun of me now, he'll probably hate me if I end up telling him about PBI...
"B-besides.... an-an-any p-place is better that th-the l-l-l-last pl-place I was a-at..." she added without really meaning to. It had just slipped out.

Dusk understood what she meant. "You can stay as long as you want, trust me you wont be a bother." he said. He heard the last part slip out and decided not to question her. "Sunset, i wouldn't be able to live with myself if i knew that i had just left somepony. If you want another place to stay, and most likley somewhere nicer, i would be happy to help you out. Thats what friends are for." Dusk looked at Sunset, the scars all over his body. He knew what they were from, someone had attacked him once with a knife, and he had a similar looking scar on the back of this neck. He couldn't just leave her.

Sunset's ears flattened further. He just wouldn't let her go to the orphanage.
I suppose that's a good thing...
She slowly got up and turned to fully face him, though she couldn't quite make eye contact with anything but the floor.
"O-okay..." she tried to say, but it came out as a whisper.
"I-I don't want to m-m-make you feel bad... Th-that would make me a b-bigger bother th-than if I st-stayed with you... M-m-maybe even a b-b-b-bully... I-I don't want to be ei-ei-either..."

Dusk looked at her. "If you were a bully, Vi would have told me. It's no trouble sat all." Dusk said. "Sunset I can tell your no bully, I've had to deal with a lot of them so I would know. Besides your the first person I've met who has the slightest interest in reading".
