You wake up in a room. An elevator to be precise. All you can remember is that you got knocked out by some gas, the last thing you saw before going unconscious was a gasmask.

There's a bracelet on your left foreleg, it's immovable. When you actually look on it there is a number three in the color (fill in the color you chose) as well as the word (fill in solo or pair) beneath it.

Midnight woke up in an elevator. There's somepony else in it. A pony he's never seen before.

Midnight shook him a couple of times and tried to talk to him. No response.

When he looked down he saw that there was a bracelet on his left foreleg. It wasn't even movable in the slightest. When Midnight gave it a closer look he saw the number three in a red text, like you would see on a digital clock.

It also said the word pair.

Insomni-hack couldn't feel his... anything. "This... must be...what good... sleep~" It felt like the first time in forever since he had gotten a good nights' sleep, and that's what caused him to jump out of his position on the floor. "I was asleep at night!" 

 

He looked around the room he was in and couldn't recall how he had gotten there. He never touched a bottle of wine in his life, and he hadn't gotten into any fights; but here he was with this odd feeling in his stomach, and bracelet around his ankle. He may have bumped into a pony that was hoovering over him, but didn't care. He immediately started to search for something. 

 

Hack frantically looked in circle around himself, and then finally shook his hair. From the top of his head, a little firefly fell out and into his hooves. He sighed in relief and slowly began to sit down again. He turned towards the pony, realizing his troubles were not over yet. "Where am I... and who are you?"

"Well, I can only anwser one of those questions. I'm Midnight Blade." Midnight anwsered, looking at the other pony more thoroughly than before.

The other pony whose name Midnight didn't know yet was out cold not even a minute ago.

He at least looked that part. Probably like Midnight who woke up not long before the other pony did.

 

"For the other question." He continued "It seems like we're in an elevator, but that's the only hint at where we are."

Darkness... Chills... Quiet...

 

This is what Persona Split woke up to. As he slowly awoke from his mysterious slumber, he takes a notice to his surroundings. He has no idea as to where he is. As he kept looking, he notices what seems to be another pony in a similar state of slumber.

 

Cautiously, Split approached the mysterious, still silhouette, and lightly nudges it with his hoof.

 

"H-Hey, um, hello?" Split asked, hoping for an answer.

End Game wakes with a start and tries to rub the bleariness from his eyes when to his surprise his eye encounters some sort of metal bracelet. After the shock subsides he takes a look around the room and at the bracelet. On it is a blue number three with the word "solo" below it in simple block script. "What am I doing here?" he asked to no one in particular as he waited for something to happen.

Arcane groaned and tried to do a mental recap on what had happened, but he couldn't remember more than gas, a gas mask and doing research.

He looked around the elevator. He almost missed it, but he saw a small bit of brown and ta- no wait, yellow. He turned his full gaze to the pony and stood up. It was female. He had only briefly scanned her, and he could already tell so much. The cutie mark tended to give off a lot, but there was more than just a talent to all ponies.

 

"Ah... any idea why we might be here?" he asked her. She might have answers, and she might not. He looked around himself and noticed the bracelet on his arm. The same exact bracelet was on the mare as well.

 

He sighed and sat back down. They were in an elevator, which he had just noticed. He looked around again, squinting his eyes at the elevator door. He stood back up and walked over to it, searching for a button that might open the door.

@@Super Mario Brony,

As Split approached Chivalry Knight, He let out a loud snore. When Split spoke however, Chivalry instantly woke up and yelled. "LUNA IS THE PRINCESS OF A GREAT BIG BALL OF CHEESE!!!" Chivalry snapped out of it and realized the situation... sorta.

 

He looked around and spoke. "Now hold on a second, where am I?" Chivalry turned and looked at Split, with a half-asleep look in his expression. "And who are you now?" Chivalry stood up and shook his head.

He noticed a bracelet on his leg that was never there before. "What the heck is this thing? Did I just wake up after a party or something?" He asked nopony in particular.

As he saw the other pony noticing his bracelet, Split quickly checked to see if he had one on him. Needless to say, he did, but couldn't quite tell what was inscribed on it.

 

He looked back at the other pony and, in a worried tone, said "I have no idea where we are, sir. I am just as confused as you are. Oh, my name is Persona Split. And yours?"

Hack looked around the room they were in, and confirmed what @@Midnight Blade, had said. "Yeah," He slowly got back onto his hooves, "That looks to be the case." He looked at the pony again, but with much calmer mind than he had before. Now that his firefly was safe he could start to figure out what was going on. 

 

He eyed the pony for a moment and couldn't recall ever seeing him before, so he held out his hoof and said, "You can call me Hack, also. I thought you said we're in an elevator? I'm pretty sure what matters is where were going... didn't push a floor?"

Midnight shook Hacks hoof. "Nice to meet you, Hack. I haven't pushed any buttons, and you woke up a minute or so after me, so I can't say for sure where we're going."He said and after a short pause he added "If we even are going anywhere that is."

 

Then even before anything could happen there was a voice. "Well hello there my little ponies." It was a heavy voice, heard throughout all the elevators with any wake pony. Later it'd get heard in the other elevators whenever the other ponies woke up.

A screen with a figure showed up out of nowhere.

"My name is Zero."

It became a clear shape now, you could see a cartoony little lion on it.

"See the safe behind you."

It seemed the lion was Zero since its mouth was moving at the same time the voice could be heard.

"It only opens on my command, I'm an AI in controll of this facility."

 

When Midnight looked at the back of the elevator there indeed was a safe.

"So what do we have to do to let you open it?"

Zero then anwsered with "Not so fast, I'm not done explaining! You're not the only ones trapped.

now that I'm done explaining I can tell you."

"Was it really necessary to prolong it for just one thing?" Midnight thought. He wanted to speak again, but decided not to for the sake of escaping.

 

"You only have to anwser this simlpe question. Lets call this round 0.

Why was the cross eyed teacher fired?

If any of the ponies in the other elevators anwser right I'll be nice enough to open all safes, I'll even announce it.

Well, that's it for now, see you later."

Hack stared at the screen as it went blank. "So... I'm going to assume I'm not hallucinating on this on, and you sounded like you didn't know where we are going." He let go of the other stallions hoof and let his fall to the ground in front of him. It was then that he fully noticed the bracelet on his ankle and it odd design. He took a moment to think about the situation they were in.

 

He walked over to the elevator and tried to open the doors manually. When they failed to open he sighed and turned towards the safe and Midnight Blade. 

 

"Well, I got a full nights sleep; and it getting a little stuffy in here. You up for solving a riddle?"

(Sound thought)

 

Sound thought felt the world spinning around him, and it felt like he couldn't make it stop. Slowly he started to stand up and observe his surroundings. At first it made little sense to him, everything was quiet and blurred. Then he heard a loud break break in the silence of what ever room he was in.

A screen with a figure showed up out of nowhere. "My name is Zero." It became a shape now, you could see a cartoony little lion on it. "See the safe behind you." As the weird picture talked, Thoughts vision became slightly more clear.

 

He looked back and could faintly see the safe that the pony had mentioned. He stumbled towards and felt for a handle, "Nothing..." 

 

His eyes were becoming clearer now, and he could see that he was in an elevator. "How did I get here? Better question, how am I getting out." He remembered what the pony had said about the safe and sighed. "Well, certainly not the weirdest situation I've woken up in; but it definitely ranks a close fourth to the time with that insomni kid and~ Never mind." He could see and think clearly now and assumed he was being watched. The less information who ever did this to him knew, the better. 

He thought, "Think..."

Why was the cross eyed teacher fired?

"Great, I can solve this; because juvenile riddles is COMPLETELY a collage course!"

After the screen went blank, finished with the message that interrupted his question, Split began noticing his surroundings even more, then contemplated the question that this Zero person asked before the screen went blank.

 

"Oh no, a riddle? Oh, I'm no good with these things. If only I was HIM, I know HE would probably figure it out..." raced Split's thought frantically. "Wait, maybe the other pony in here with me can figure it out! Might as well ask him..."

 

"Well, um, it appears this mysterious Zero has, uh, given us a riddle to solve. Do you have any idea as to what the answer could be? I'm kinda stumped on it..." Split asked the other pony. "Oh, uh, I'm sorry. I didn't quite catch your name!"

End game sighs, "Well, I guess I won't get out of here soon... I wonder if there is anything in this room that may help me..." he says to himself as he closely examines the room, looking for any sort of hint or tool that mah help him escape the elevator. Why do I always get these sorts of crazy things happening? he thinks.

Sound thought was pacing the elevators small space, hoping he could find the answer; how tedious his action of thinking is always made him mad, and the question he was given didn't help either. ​"Equestrian history, musical theory, I've done advanced physics under pressure; but this?" He slumped down to the side off the elevator in a position that looked like he had given up, but again he was thinking out-loud. "If I were a crossed teacher... why would I be fired?" He smiled and spoke loudly, "Because she was a distraction to the class!" He waited for something to happen...

It seemed like nothing had happened. Well, that was back to square one for Sound.

 

In the meantime Midnight had tried to open the doors, as well as the safe, but it was all in vain. 

Even a simple tracking spell didn't help him find his current location, nor what happened after he was drugged.

Dream Pop faded out of slumber to a blinding fluorescent light. Shielding his face with his hoof, he groaned, “What did I do to get such a headache?” As he slowly regained full consciousness, he finally noticed the cramped, cold metallic walls surrounding him. This wasn’t his room at all!

 

His first instinct was that he must still be asleep. But this certainly didn’t feel like any dream he’d had before. Besides, he usually wakes up once he realizes he’s dreaming. But how did he get here? He quickly searched his brain for an answer. “What do I remember from last night? Let’s see… I was getting back home after going to the movies… I opened the door to my bedroom and…” he struggled to recall any more details. “That’s it. I just blacked out.”

 

Realizing the room was an elevator he walked over to the double doors. He reached up and tapped the “open” button. Nothing. He tried prying the doors open by force. Predictably, they didn’t budge. It was at this time, however, that he finally noticed the glowing green bracelet wrapped tight around his foreleg. “Help! Is anybody there?” he shouted. He pressed his body against the cool door and listened for a response. A few seconds passed, but only silence filled his ears.

Ambrose looked at the stallion standing over her. "N-n-no s-s-sory". She whispered. She was terrified of strangers and small spaces. She was in the middle of both. Ambrose looked around the dark box. She noticed her horn was giving off light. She absently tried to flap her wings. It was a natural reflex that she had always had. Still no wings. "s-s-sorry, b-but who a-r-re you?"

Chivalry was about to answer Splits question, however the lion named Zero had interrupted him.

"Why was the cross eye'd teacher fired? Hmm... Nope, I can't seem to figure out the answer, so I'll just blurt out a million till I get it right, yeah? hehe. Oh by the way, my name is Chivalry Knight. Seems like were both in the same predicament, Seeing that you have the same fashion choice as me." Chivalry points his hoof towards Splits wristband.

"Anyway, just do what I do and blurt out answer's, one of them has to be right, yeah? haha." Chivalry said optimistically. "All right let's see, why was the crossed eyed teacher fired? Her students were distracted by her eyes!? uh, She marked everything on her students tests with double check marked forming an "X" rather than just one check mark,, um... She thought her class was double the size than what it actually was!" Chivalry seemed like he was having a little too much fun with this. He just didn't know what the hoof was going on, so he just played along.

Sound thought waited for a response or reaction, but when nothing happened after ten minutes. He continued to pace around the room. "Think. Why would I fire a cross-eyed teacher... Maybe she would fail her cross examination, or she would have~" He continued to brainstorm out loud. He figured, since he was in no real danger, he could do this until he found the answer.

The screen went on in all the elevators again. Once again the little lion showed up.

"Well, now that everypony is awake I will add a time limit. Lets make it... 10 minutes." Zero said.

"After those minutes the elevators will fall. And I guess you know what happens then." He added.

Then the screen went black again.

 

In his own elevator Midnight groaned. "Well, that's great, a time limit as well as an annoying question. I didn't study magic for some stupid questions." He thought out loud without even thinking about it.

Okaaay, so were in an elevator?" Chivalry asks nopony in particular. "And now we have... a time limit..." Chivalry's eye twitched a little, he is about to panic... "Okay... HURRY BLURT OUT AS MANY ANSWERS AS POSSIBLE!!! Whywasthecrosseyedteacherfired, um um um, She looked at the principle funny! Uuuuh she kept banging into things! um um, she looked crazy!" Chivalry was just blurting things out of his mouth now. Some of his words sound slurred because of how fast he's dishing them out.

He couldn't look after her pupils that makes sense. SHE COULDNT MANAGE HER PUPILS. Ambrose was nervous around new ponies so she didn't say anything. Last time she had been wrong...

This was too much for Dream Pop to take in at once. 10 minutes until he fell to his death? He racked his brain trying to find some sort of connection. What could be some eye-related puns? Sight? Iris? Pupils? Students? But the adrenaline racing through his body prevented him from thinking straight yet. This is crazy! Who would have my life depend on some stupid riddle? he thought.

 

Perhaps a minute had already passed. He took a few breaths, tried to calm himself down, and think of an answer.

"Okay. It's a classroom." He closed his eyes and tried to imagine himself there. "Pupils can mean the same thing as students, so..."
