Button Design For RTX 2014

Well a while back, after seeing the first trailer of Rooster's Teeth new Animated series, "RWBY" I had decided on making a ponyfied version of Ruby Rose, by using the background pony Roseluck. Little did I know how big this would turn out! After a while however, things started to die out. Then I get a message from Chris9801 from Rooster Teeth / Achievement Hunter! He was impressed with what I did and wanted to use my design to make buttons to be handed out at RTX 2014!

Some alterations needed to be made in order for the button to work, so I took the opportunity to update the image! This is what came out!

I must say, that is quite an honor and congratulations are certainly in order!  It is not everyday that one's work is recognized in such a way.

 

Though I am unfamiliar with 'RWBY,' I may have to check it out based on your piece of fan art alone (which I must say looks great).  The only thing I would have liked to see is a bit more shading, something sharp to give the seen more tone and emphasize the lighting from the moon (if that made any sense) but this still awesome regardless.  My only regret is that I will not have the chance to pick up one of those buttons.  

 

Regardless, congrats once again and I do hope to see more of your work soon!
