"O..oh, well...I did kind of pick up that you had feelings for him, and..and flame..." He sighs, "It's ok, mine are cold too." He starts playing with the scarf, and his goggles start fogging up so he tries to defog them. Damn it! She's so beautiful, and there is no way in Equestria, I could ever compete with Critical or Flame for her affections. "W..would you like to go out for breakfast or lunch? I've lost track of time, I don't even know whether it is breakfast time or lunch time." He turns to Blaze, "You may join us if you'd like."

She turns to blaze and smiles. She nodded and says "That will be fun! The more the marrier!" She flaps her wings and hovers off the cold ground. She zoomed around in circles waiting for a reply. 'I can't belive I just said that to him! I know he likes me.. I just ARG! Love is so hard!'

Blaze hesitates before answering. He had just listened to a very awkward coversation and wasn't sure if he should intrude on them. But he finally decided that Dust might need a little support. "Em.... Sure why not?" Blaze picked himself off the ground and flapped his wings lazily. "Lookit us! 3 goggle wearing Pegasi sittin in the cold! Lets go then! Is it a Tuesday? I hope not, I hate Tuesdays."

"Great, and no, I think it's Monday, which in turn I hate. Lunar can tell you why." Dust starts hovering, "Mare's choice of where to go." he says somewhat nervously, "I still can't believe Lunar wants to be friends with me, after what happened at the lodge!" He blurts out then covers his mouth, "i..I'm sorry, I just get really nervous around Lunar."

She was far enough ahead to not hear their conversation. She flew down to a warm cafe and walked inside. She sat at a table and looked at the menu. She saw the other ponies sit down and her stomach growled. She blushed and said "Sorry..!" She shrunk down in her seat to hide.

Dust smiles, "It's ok, mine's been growling for ages now." and right on cue, his stomach growls, "Hmm.. I think I'll have a salad with hayfries. and a chocolate milkshake." He says out loud, then suddenly he sees a pony he thinks he recognizes as his ex mare-friend, "Quick hide me!" He says in a scared manner, as he shrinks and tries to hide under the table.

"Here let me do the talking.." She whispered. "I love you so much dusty!" She kissed him trying to make his ex mare friend see he wasent single even though he was. She pulled away and looked at him. Her radiant eyes shimmering and looking around the room. She sat farther down in her chair.

Instinctively, Blaze shoots out his wing and covers Dust from view. "What's up mate? Somethin wrong? I mean I know these prices are bloody high, but... That's probably not the reason you're hiding is it?" Blaze laughed and grinned sheepishly. He looked around but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Dust Storm's jaw drops when Lunar kisses him, he stutters, "I..I..I.." He blushes a very deep red.

He hides under Blaze's wing, "It's not that no, it's...it's... her!" He thrusts a hoof in the direction of his ex marefriend, "She's so mean, and..and..she broke my heart!" Dust starts crying.

Lunar growled and got up from her seat. She marched over to the mare and said "Hello!" Cheerfully.mshe smiled than looked at her soup and dunked her head in the soup. She held it their for 2 seconds than released. The other mare whipped around and screamed with a burnt face "WTH!" Lunar said "You broke my friend Dust Storms heart! You stone cold jerk!" She said

Dust Storm's Ex-Marefriend glares at her,  "You're friends with that pathetic loser!? HA! I didn't think he even had friends! Do yourself a favor girl, and leave his sorry ass!" She starts laughing harshly.

 

Meanwhile Dust Storm is still hiding under Blaze's wing and whimpers.

Lunar looked at the mare with pure hatred. She made her levitate and than she turned her into air. She gasped than ran backwards into the counter screaming. "Luna Luna. Luna!" She panicked as she called her sister. She needed her sister for this moment, She got down low as she heard her sister teleport to her. "Luna!"

Blaze took his wing away and sat dumbly on his seat. "You guys are an... Interesting duo. I think that was a little overdoing it don't you think? I'll just uh... Sit here. You should probably go help her out mate. I'm sure she could use some from you." Blaze nudged the Pegasus and gestured towards Lunar.

Lunar said "Your here! You came here for me!" She nuzzled her big sister and smiled. She felt tears roll down her face and Luna hugged her. Luna knew her sister has just gotten frightened at turning a pony into air. Luna whispered "She was sent to pony vile.. I've done that spell before.. They always land in pony vile.." She said softly

Dust Storm says to Blaze, "Sorry you had to see that, usually i'm brave and loyal, but that pony, she broke my heart nearly beyond repair. And Lunar may look scared, but she IS related to Princess Luna. I know, because I used to be a Royal Guard." He walks up to his ex-marefriend, and looks her straight in the eye, "What the buck are you doing here? Also, Leave my friend alone! She's done nothing wrong!"

Luna said "Sister.. I know you will teleport me when you need help.. Don't feel guilty.. It's ok.. I will always be their to help you.." She kissed the top of her head than teleported away. Lunar was left alone on the counter on the cafe on her back speechless. She was to stunned still at what happened.

Dust walks over to her and offers her a hoof to help her up from the counter.

"W...why did you do that Lunar? Sticking up for me, I mean. Y..you didn't have to, es..especially after that night at the lodge, wh...when I was going to leave and you ran away crying.. I still can't forgive myself for that." He hangs his head with tears in his eyes, "Go on Dust, go for it! Tell her! Tell her NOW!" His mind and heart scream at her, "L...Lunar, th..there's something I need to tell you, something I've been needing to tell you since the first time we met at the lodge... but I was too nervous to."

Lunar Dance said "What is it?" She blinked waiting for an answer. She wondered what it was. She wondered what every pony back at the lodge was doing. She smiled as she thought of critic Pathan began to focus back on Dust. She leaned closer to him instead of laying down.

"Me, i dont actually have that much to do for fun, not alot of friends..." he trailed off realizing he just said he had no friends. He blushed, "I often read or go running. Depends on my mood. I dont have much of story" he said. His hoof tapped the talbe nervously, he was afraid he would make a mistake.

"I...I loved you. I always have!" He blurts out loud, then covers his mouth. then he runs away crying. "You idiot Dust!" he yells to himself, "way to go and mess things up! As if Lunar would ever be in love with you!" He runs home, slams his door shut and packs a few things. "I'm leaving, getting far away from here!" He shouts to himself

"Wait I knew that already.. And he cries way to much.." She guessed he liked her by the way he acted towards her. But she just didn't like him like that. She felt sorry for him but couldn't move. She was to tired to even life a hoof. She rolled over on the couch that was he walked to and started to think.

I mean you were right, I am like a big brother to you, and you are also like a little sister to me, and besides, I have Ambrose, and I couldn't be happier." Dust Storm says quickly, noticing the look on Lunar Dance's face.

Charxoal giggled. "Having no friends is definitely not an excuse. I have two friends in this entire town and I can have fun when I want to.it isn't very often, but I can still have fun when I want to." Charcoal said in an attempt to try and cheer up Guardian in some way.

"Well, now I actually have a friend, so I suppose I like to fly. That's a bit obvious, but really, just gliding along in the air it's very peaceful." He said. He had just finished with his stew and saw that Charcoal was finished also, "would you like to try some dessert?"

Charcoal shook her head. "No thank you. I had enoughy to eat already." Charcoal said with a smile on her face. "Thank you for inviting me to go out and eat. It isn't very often that I go out to eat instead of just sstaying inside of my house and just cooking for myself."
