Ambrose nodded timidly "of course he can come" she said. She began walking towards the inn letting the two friends talk with each other, as had den half hoping that it would just be her and Dust and some time to spend alone together, get to know each other better

"STRANGE???....I didn't know you cared~" He said laughing to himself as he looked around taking in the sites.

 

"Well I actually just wanted to explore a bit, see how everything's changed and whatnot before I go off to my old place. As tired as I may be, I still have a thirst for adventure!"

"See I use to live here in Ponyville, but then I moved and haven't been here since i was 17! Ohhhh Ponyville, don't I miss you sooooo much!- HEY I just noticed..I didn't get those chips I wanted, awwww bloomin' heck.."

 

He went on and on as per usual not caring whether or not they were even listening to his conversation.

"Yes Sketchy, you're strange, but the good kind of strange." he laughs, "and if that's what you want to do, then you can. I won't stop ya."

He looks over at Ambrose, "It may be easier for Ambrose anyway, she may say it's ok, but by the looks of her, she'd probably just prefer that it be me and her, for some reason."

 

They reach the Inn.

"Well we're here, I'll just go up to the front desk and check in."

 

Dust walks up to the front desk,

"Excuse me sir, I'm here for my room."

He bursted out laughing letting the two be while he trotted on over towards the east side of Ponyville.
 

Love ponies, haha that's rich, I hope him the best though it can get kind of lonely in this perfect world...He thought to himself shaking his head and chuckling nervously to himself as he continued on his way to what pony knows where, he was just happy for that brief moment that he was indeed home.

Indigo StarSong was sitting at his favorite cafe, wearing his favorite pentacle necklace and sipping on an ice tea.
Ah, this is the life. He thinks to himself, Living in tune with nature, enjoying the beautiful weather that the weather team has given us, and i am free of all stress and worry. Mum and dad were right. He takes another sip on his ice tea, there is only thing missing in my life, and that is a special mare i can call love. A special mare that I can share the blessings that nature gives us. He sighs.

Ambrose nodded shyly. She knew that sketch had been joking around, still that was one possible outcome for both of them. She follows Dust into the inn waiting for him to drop his stuff off so they could walk around ponyville, se had so many thing to so him.

Dust walks up to the front desk,

"Hello sir, I'd like to pick up my key for my room please. I booked under the name Dust Storm."

The pony at the desk looks at the schedule, "I'm sorry mr Storm but you're too late. The inn is overbooked and you weren't here in time to pick up the key, Your room has gone to a couple who had been waiting for months to get in. We are willing to give you a full refund."

Dust dropped his luggage,

"How is that possible? It can't be that late, and..and I have no where to go!" He stutters.

Ambrose elbowed him "come on Dust, you can stay with me, I've got a guest room you can use" she said. Ambrose picked up Dust's bags with her magic an carried it over I her house, which was only a few blocks away. "You can stay here for as long as you want" she said.

"Th..thank you Ambrose, that's very kind of you. I won't be a bother, I promise." I just may end up living here in Ponyville if things work out right. I know Sketch would love that. He gives Ambrose a big smile, "You're a very kind mare, you know. and Kindness is something I value very highly."

Ambrose giggled, she happy she wouldn't be alone any longer in her house, she pointed Dust up towards the nicer bedroom, the other one was practically joined with her workshop. Dinner time was rapidly approaching and Ambrose had an empty fridge, "shall we go get Donne then?"

After putting his luggage in the guest room, Dust walked back downstairs, "Yes, dinner sounds great right about now. my shout, seeing as you were kind enough to let me stay here with you, it is only fair that I pay for our dinner." He says, giving her his best smile.

Ambrose smiled at him, he was being such a gentlecolt "where would you like to go for dinner, err what type f food are you in the mood for, we could do casual or formal, am good either way" Ambrose said, she wanted Dust to make the choice for if he was paying he should enjoy what he got.

"I'd like formal, train food is ok, but it is hardly full meal. I wouldn't mind somewhere that has a nice a pasta dish." He says to her, Dust you lucky stallion, you. Go for it! she's kind, caring, loving, understanding, smart, ambitious and beautiful! But take it slow.

Ambrose led him towards a restraint she knew of. It was called Hoof Cafe. The name completely betrayed the nature of the cafe. Inside it was very formal. "Trust me" she said as she led him into the cafe. "Table for two please" she asked as violin music played softly

Dust smiles as he and Ambrose are led to their table, the violin music that was playing was one of his favorite songs. He looks at the menu, "Order anything you would like, no matter the cost, that goes for drinks as well by the way." He says as he decides on what he would like.

Ambrose ordered a painkiller, one of her favorite drinks. Coconut milk, orange juice, pineapple juice, with tequila. "Thank you" she said to Dust "for dinner and everything". Ambrose gazed around at the rest of the room trying to find something to start a conversation.

Dust smiles "You're welcome, it's the least I could do, for such a kind and beautiful mare. I mean first you help me get out of my funk at the train station, you then proceeded to help me get out of my depression, anxiety and PTSD, and now you're offering up your guest room to me. I only wish there more I could do for you." Dust orders a Midori mixer, his favorite drink.

Ambrose looked over surprised she had done that much is a shoe amount of time "really... I did that... How?" She asked. She was fairly certain she had help but not as much as Dust had said. "As for the room, I was offering it to a pony who needed it" a serving pony soon arrived.

"You did, just by giving me company and somepony to talk to." Dust says then order his favorite pasta dish, " and it was very kind of you, not a lot of ponies would give up a room to a pony who they had only just met. Heck, most ponies would have shooed me away."

"Well you seemed like a nice stallion" she sad, "plus it looked like you needed help, also your very handsome". She looked up to the waiter an ordered a quesadilla with spinach. "Thank you" she said to the serving pony. She stared across at Dust, again trying to find something to talk about.

Handsome? you're joking right?" he blushes at the compliment, he thinks he should get Ambrose a nice gift to say thank you properly, then he remembers the necklace his mother left him, all though he never wore it, he always carried it with him,, "Ambrose, can you please close your eyes for a moment, I promise I won't hurt you."

Ambrose nodded and closed her eyes, she was in a public place she doubted anything would happen, also she was more scared with her eyes open, yet showed the world as all the dangers, with your Wes closed, you could see anything you wanted to. "What is it Dust?"

Dust takes out the necklace gave him and gently places it around Ambrose's neck, he then holds up a mirror. "Oh just a little something I wanted to give you as a thank you, oh and you can open your eyes now." I just hope she likes it, if she doesn't, I'll just die.

Ambrose looked in the mirror, then looked down at we neck to make sure it as actually there "oh it's beautiful Dust" she said , and she reached across the table and kissed him on the cheek. She then drew back blushing about what she just did. "Sorry" she said
