Secretly, he was hoping that Ambrose wouldn't say yes to it, he didn't really want to go all the way back to Canterlot, but if she had said yes, he would have put his feelings about going back there aside, just to help her feel happy. "he hugs her, and as he did, he felt her soft mane and smelt it, it smelt nice, like home. He smiled, "Ambrose, your mane, it is very soft and it smells nice, it smells like home."

Ambrose chuckled, she had been working for the last two hours. "Well then home spells like oil and dirt. I've been in my workshop for the past two hours". She said. "You can come see It if you want." She looked over at Dust waiting on his answer. She smiled encouragingly.

"Awwww heck...aw well I'll get something else to munch on, unfortunately I'm still feeling the dragging exhaustion, as per usual, though I suppose food might be a possible substitute to pick me up, yes, I'll have fritters! Fritters this time! Fritters for sure!"

 

He said banging a hoof on the table careful not to tip it over or break the standings.

 

Neon Fire chuckled at his enthusiasm and sat down at the table.

 

"So have you been here awhile or looked around since you left the train?  Anything exciting happen at all?"  She asked.

 

She looked up at the sky, it was clear with little clouds in it, although a few Pegasi flew about.

"Ok, I would like that. I can tell that working in your workshop makes you happy. so I would very much like to see what makes such a beautiful mare happy." Dust says, wiping the tears from his eyes, every time he looked at her and saw her beautiful eyes and smile, he forgot about his past, and was hoping one day, to have a future with this beautiful young mare.

Indigo StarSong looked around him, at the cafe he could see a stallion who he thought he recognized from way back, Is that Sleepless Sketch? he asks himself, And who is that pretty young mare with him? Since when did he get a marefriend?

He sees them happily chatting away, and it reminded him of how he was alone without a marefriend, he sighed heavily, even though he was outside, he was still in hearing range of them, and them of him, I hope they didn't hear me sigh, that would have been totally rude of me to sigh in other pony's presence.

Neon Fire chuckled at his enthusiasm and sat down at the table.

 

"So have you been here awhile or looked around since you left the train?  Anything exciting happen at all?"  She asked.

 

She looked up at the sky, it was clear with little clouds in it, although a few Pegasi flew about.

"Weeeell..." He pondered looking up again as it was an old habit.

 

"I WAS going to walk around with my old friend Dusty, but it was quite crystal clear that I was enacting as the *third wheel* of their good times and I didn't want to barge in on their together time. Though I don't mind at all, Dusty should go out and make some positive relationships all else considering. Ehhhh I'll catch up with him lateeer, lovey dovey stuff isn't my cup of tea really."

 

He rambled on as per usual unknowing whether he should spill his opinions on another pony, one he just met too, but he was always impulsive like that which was another bad habit of his.

"Cool places? If we are talking in the sort of temperaturey sort of shpiel  then I highly suggest...well everywhere because it is quite cold outside for the time being. On the other hand if your definition of the word *cool* happens to be of a sort of adjectative meaning to be positively desirable or fantasticly hip, then I'd have to say that most locations here are quite mellow and don't fancy up to the busy-around attractions, say, Canterlot would have...although I hear the fields near Apple Acres are quite lively with active ponies!"

He chuckled to himself when suddenly, he began to feel his head become heavier while his eyelids did so as well. He plopped his chin on the table and huffed.

 

"Darn sleep attacks.." He muttered to himself.

"Ahhh...thanks man." He said quite mellowed down and a bit more sleepier than he would have liked, though that did make him feel good, hooray for positive energy.

 

"Sorry everypony but I think I really should take my luggage back to my old home, I havent seen it in ages.

 

Perhaps you two can get an early start and I'll meet you there!" He suggested getting up slowly and began dragging his case with him.

Soul sat in the train silently as the seats around her became crowed with eager ponies. 'Seriously?' She thought. 'It's only Ponyville.' She sat back as the train pulled forward. Watching the amazing scenery, she thought about what love would feel like.

Ambrose led Dusk to her workshop, three things were hung on pegs at the entrance, mechanical wings, a crossbow, and a shimmering cloak. Ambrose led him to the work table, a small sphere of metal sat open on the table. She was going to explain everything when she realized that might be boring for him. Instead she showed him a picture of her dad.

Dust smiles at the picture, "He looks like a really nice stallion." Realizing he may have upset her, he quickly says, "I bet he's looking down on you from the heavens and smiling, being proud of his intelligent and beautiful daughter. Ambrose, I want you to trust me, and I want you to know, you can talk to me about anything. I will listen."

Ambrose smiled again, this stallion really liked to compliment her, she wasn't complaining. She had sudden impulse, she stood on her tip hooves and kissed Dust. She drew back flustered, "am sorry" she said, she didn't know what was going through her mind when she did that.

Dust Storm blushed, he had never been kissed by a mare before, well other than his mother, and even then it was only on his cheek to say good night when he was little. "It..its ok. I quite liked it, especially since...since it was my first kiss." He says a little nervously,Where's Indigo and all that positive energy of his when you need him! he thinks, "Ambrose, when I say all those nice things about you, i mean every single one of them, and not just because I like you, and I do like you, I REALLY like you, but I said we could go slow and I stand by my promise, but it is also because... for some reason, I feel like we're kindred spirits of some sort."

Ambrose wasn't sure exactly how Dust responded to the kiss, he seemed happy and sad at the same time, she didn't know which. "Kindered spirits? What does that mean?" She asked. She was so confused now. She decided to keep showing him around we workshop, she was actually working on a project for the royal guard, she wasn't sure if he would want to see that though, it was covered by a giant cloth in the corner.

Soul trotted around Ponyville, looking for something to paint. Sadly, she couldn't find anything to paint except a small pot of flowers. She quickly pulled out her pencil and a piece of paper, starting her quick sketch of the flowers. She planned to paint it later.

Neon Fire nodded as she took the piece of paper.  She placed it down and looked at the address.

 

"Too bad all the places are booked..." She sighed.  "Oh well, I guess it doesn't hurt to stay here."

 

She still wanted to check some stuff out before heading there, so she followed the Stallion over to the lonely mare.
