Midnight stood up, summoning her moon blade (she's never gotten it out in public), fearing the worst.

 

Lunar blinked, looking at Equinox. "If you aren't with us, why did you join our army?" She eyed the pony intensely.

 

Luna lowered Steel's blades. "Let us talk before we resort to violence, everypony."

"Thank you Princess Luna, I only joined because I know most about the enemy then you can think of" Equinox said pulling out a scroll of paper from his coat. "This is Intel from one of their bases I snuck into when they took over my town, I heard about what was going on and decided to join my self and then show you the Intel but apparently you want to kill somepony before they get a chance to prove them self" He said keeping a calm demeanor on his face.

Dark twisting lines appeared in grells hooves going up his body to his head his eyes glowed crimson he was ready for a fight

Steel sighed and lowered his blade it was just for show because of the demon inside him he could use hell magic to kill or do anything he wanted

Midnight lowered her blade but continued to hold it, just in case.

 

Lunar blinked, walking over, her wings still open. She took the scroll, handing it to Luna.

 

Luna took the scroll from her "Thank you. If you wish to leave, you can. I do not mind. However, if I find out you are also giving information of ours to them, I WILL terminate you." Her eyes flashed white when she said that last sentence. She didn't like showing her power often, but when she did, it was something.

"Giving the enemy who took control of my hometown and executed my friends and family info...yeah that seems likely" He said the last par sarcastically. "Tell both your guards to calm down they are on the edge and look about ready to kill me" Equinox said as he stood where he is.

Grell smiled and spoke with nine voices at once "that's because we are " grells form seemed to shimmer as if trying to split because in reality it was

Steel spread his wings "I'm ready to kill you I'll admit it it won't take much at all " steel said his voice turning more demonic

"I'm not normal either" He said sounding like two voices. "You see I hate it when ponies think they are better then somepony because they dont know the strength of said pony" "I have no quarrel with you two so I suggest we avoid battling since that wouldn't be respectful in front of the Princess

Grell spoke first "we don't think ourselves better than you we act as promised protects of Luna I will not fight only kill " grells form was always shimmering while using this ability

Steel almost laughed " I'll fight in front of Luna I don't mind at all " steel said

"Then you are disrespectful Steel" Equinox said. "You respect the princess the princess at all time and that means not to fight in her presence unless she says so" Equinox added as he didn't even go near his katana yet. "I disarmed my self to show i'm no threat" He said stepping away from the blade a bit.

Steel smirked "that's where your wrong I respect Luna and I'm no fool I know a pony doesn't need a weapon to kill " steel said his respect for Luna ran deep which is why this stallion was still alive in the first place and the reason why steel refused to do a full shift

"What will it take for you to believe that I am no enemy and that your enemy is my enemy" Equinox asked getting a bit annoyed by Steels stubbornness. At Least Grell had some brains but Steel is just hardheaded at the moment. "I gave you enemy Intel what more do you want?"

"I won't trust you till I have a better reason then Intel for all we know that Intel is fake " steel said grell stood silent for a moment "I have no need to fight I can kill you without fighting I dont trust you either so you better be careful "grell said with the nine voices

Luna glared at Steel. "Steel! Put your weapons away now! I did not tell you to draw them. This pony is no threat to us. This intel is real. Think with your head not your stubborn ways." She looked at Equinox. "I am sorry my guard is so on edge today. He's being irrational and down right mean."

 

Lunar used her magic to make an invisible wall inbetween them just in case things got serious.

 

Midnight frowned. -These ponies are so on edge. They're causing the crowd to get riled up...- she thought, seeing the uneasy aura in the crowd.

(((I forgot to mention this in the discussion, but Midnight can sense other ponies' aura and feelings)))

Equinox bowed. "I thank you for trusting me Princess" He turned to face the crowd and looked at every pony in the crowd. "Few suspicious one in the crowd" Equinox muttered to himself as he kept an eye on the suspicious ponies and only looked upward to check for intruders.

Steel put his weapons away his was ready to give up and just go take a nap obviously Luna didn't feel like she was in danger

Grell stayed ready to unleash the council of nine at any moment he could feel the wall laughing on the inside his ability couldn't be stopped so easily

Lunar dissolved the wall, looking at Grell. "Master, please use your spell to calm him down. He may go out of control again."

 

Luna nodded, using her magic to push the power back down inside him, returning him to normal. She learned the spell quite a while ago, after his first incident. She didn't want THAT to happen again.

 

Midnight looked at Equinox. She sensed his calm aura, knowing he wasn't a threat at the moment. She looked at Steel, frowning.

"If you don't mind I can help watch for the assassin" He said keeping his eyes on the suspicious ones. " Besides there are a few suspicious ponies in the crowd I see so I'm keeping my eye on them" He said as he put his coat back on and then his katana floated and got strapped to his back.

Grell felt Luna force his power down he flared his power the team dark lines appeared again then slowly receded by own accord the council of nine was very powerful

Steel shot grell a demon look

Grell nodded thinking back to when he lost control

Lunar sighed. -Is this Desdemona going to come up here or not? I'm tired of waiting, and these ponies look bored as heck...- she thought, folding her wings. She used her magic, the key to the trunk appearing in front of her.

 

Midnight put her blade in it's holster, thinking it would be wise to keep it out.

 

Luna continued to push the powers down, not stopping until she knows he's back.

Grell fought back again it had become a power struggle one which could not be lost the council of nine was as powerful as nine alicorns grell stood his ground refusing to back down

Steel was about to step in and help luck a but waited thinking Luna could handle

Luna closed her eyes tight, making her magical grip stronger.

 

Lunar saw the struggle and joined in; Luna taught her the spell once, in case he got out of line while she wasn't around.

 

Midnight blinked, looking at Grell. -Is he okay??? He looks like he's in pain...-

Grell felt lunar enter the fight they where starting to over power him the fight causing a great deal of pain grell gave up the magic hitting him hard GE flew back

Steel walked over aND kicked him knocking him out then poured water on him waking him up

Midnight blinked, seeing him fly back. -I hope he's okay... He didn't have to kick the poor guy...-

 

Lunar stopped, straightening back up.

 

Luna stopped too, looking at Steel. "You didn't have to knock him out ba- I-I mean Steel." Luna mentally kicked herself for almost slipping up.

Steel sighed "he challenged you and must be punished as is the code of the dark knight " steel said looking around to make sure nopony caught Luna's slip

Grell laid on the ground moaning in pain

Steel walked back to Luna's side he wondered how many would dare challenge grell now

Lunar yawned; that spell really tired her out.

 

Luna smiled a little, making their hooves "accidently" touch.

 

Midnight's ears lowered as she walked over to Grell. "Are you okay...?" She looked in her bag for a pain reliever medicine. She found one and looked back at Grell.
