searching Mlp: end of days (infection/zombie RP)

Nopony thought much when the comet first appeared or even when it was found to be heading straight for Equestria; Celestia's magic had always been enough to protect them before and now they had a new princess and the crystal empire, Luna's return, even discord was on their side, surely the comet would be blown to dust before it could even harm the highest flying Pegasus.

 

But they were wrong. That's not to say that Celestia didn't blow up the comet, it just didn't become dust rather large chunks some still far too dangerous. Half Manehattan is gone; there are reports of smaller impacts coming in from everywhere. Somehow the pieces seem to have sought out population zones or important places, even the gates of Tartarus are rumored to have been breached.

 

The first hour after impact was a daze, with Equestria in shock and then appalled when every pony received a scroll with a the Royal decree, signed by Princess Luna, ordering them to avoid the disaster zones to leave their homes and come immediately to Canterlot; not only had Celestia failed but she couldn't even bring herself to face the public and on top of that the princesses had the nerve to ask that Equestrians abandon the survivors in need. No, the ponies of Equestria refused they went to help, they went to do what was right.

 

And again they were wrong. Something came down with the comet, something is wrong with the survivors and the dead aren't dead. Ponies aren't violent, no ponies were prepared for this, this is how Equestria ends, this is how you die, unless you're smart, unless you adapt, unless you fight and even then you might die but don't worry death doesn't last long anymore.

 

Okay so I'm starting a RP set in an Equestria with an infection/zombie background. I'm looking for a group of people who want to play and can possibly meet at a regular time. I haven't decided how big I want the group to be but I want it to be able to run pretty smoothly.

 

A big part of what I want this to be is people creating a regular OC pony for this game and then to be good enough to grow the character as the game goes on. I want to make this memorable and have our group actually be attached to the different ponies in it, this will be hard because you must be willing for your pony to die. Everyone will have characters that most likely will die and the name of this game is to play smart and last as long as possible so your pony can become badass and if they have to die to make it flashy.

 

Death won't be a bad thing because as the game goes on I will let players bring in more and more OP characters because to last longer they have to be pretty strong. The group will continue to go on and become stronger and smart until hopefully they find a way to save Equestria.

 

The game ends if the whole group dies at once, which would mean we screwed up pretty bad. I won't hesitate to kill us all though or role play into that situation if it fits my character. There are a lot of subplots in the story and I don't expect us to find them all, but I'm curious to see what we can do.

I was hoping that someone would join with something non-pony like a griffin or a minotaur but I would have never thought a wolf!

I think it's a great idea haha we'll have to come up with a reason for him to be in Manehattan and to trust the group enough to go with them.

 

Also are you okay with me saying his race is Dire Wolves? The group might run into some infected dogs and wolves and I think that is a way to explain how your race is more intelligent and has an actual empire.

Go for it. The backstory is that he is a wolf from a different continent, east of equestria (call it the Russia of mlp). But for this, I'm fine with it. If I may ask, what is a Dire Wolf?

A real Dire wolf is an extinct species of wolf that lived during the ice age, it was the largest wolf and most heavily built to have ever existed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dire_wolf)

In fiction stories dire is often added to a creature to mean that the animal is much stronger, smarter, hearty, and just in general more fearsome and dangerous than the original species.

 

I read his page he sounds really cool as a diplomat living in ponyville we need a reason for him to be in manehattan to meet up with the ponies and to trust them. That's where the story is going to start.

We'll start pretty soon hopefully, (by tomorrow for sure if we can avoid anymore delays) but right now I still can't access the character database so I need a bit of help with everyone's characters.

 

Luckily I actually had an account on here before my old computer died and I actually played in an RP that Standoff was also in; if I remember right he was a fun toting merc and at the time him and red alert were sharing a body. If I'm remembering the OC right he would be great for this RP except Señor Citizen will have to let me know how he is playing him and have to deal with the bad news that my world has almost no guns in it; so if standoff is going to be using them he'd probably only have one custom gun and ammo would be very hard to come by.

For right now it's on hold because a RP I joined, when nobody seemed interested in this one, ended up taking off and I had an upcoming family vacation, which I'm actually now on. I knew that between the two there was no way I could properly start this one (I really want to make this RP and run it well) so I put it off till I'm home again. I was going to pm everyone when I can start running it right I might just create a new thread. I hope you're still interested, and that it takes off when I'm back again.
