Chapter Four is up! This one shows a little more of the girls' past!

Chapter Five is up! This one I view as kind of an end of an act; the end of the chapter shows a real shift into the next big part of the story

Chapter Six! This one is the first chapter where we see the girls back together again in the present. Took the story long enough haha

Chapter Seven is up! Without wanting to spoil too much, I wanted to say that in this (and next week's) chapter, I have a bit of fun at the cannon's expense. All in good cheer, of couse And, of course, more interaction between our main characters

Chapter Nine is up! This one finally addresses things building up for a long time!

Chapter Ten! This one was hard to write; there's a lot of tension between the characters, both in the present and in the past. I hope I made it all come out right.

Chapter Eleven! The next chapter I post will be the final one. It'll take a while to get here though, as I want to really make sure it's all done well, and a certain someone will be in town next week on spring break. It'll be a long one though, and I hope you guys find the conclusion satisfying!

Okay, guys, here it is: Chapter Twelve. The final chapter. The story is complete.

 

I just want to thank those of you who have kept up with it so far; I know reading the stories of someone who is brand new can be occasionally taxing. That said, I really hope those of you who did look into it enjoyed it!

 

On a related note, I did get contacted by EQD regarding a submission I made for it a few weeks back; I got rejected, but it sounds as though they think it has some real potential, and with some minor tweaking it has an honest shot. With that in mind, I'll probably be reviewing and rewording a few of the chapters in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on their front page, and wish me luck!
