    • I choose a preset character and go.

Ideally, I want to get them to be perfect (there's nothing worse than being stuck with a face that looks 'off' for the entire game). The time it takes depends on the game, not only their character creation options but the overall look and feel of the game: I speed through Oblivion and Skyrim in, like, 5-10 minutes, yet I spent over an hour messing around in Final Fantasy XIV.

It doesn't matter what game I'm playing. If there's a character creation option, I spend close to twenty or thirty minutes making the character just the way I like it. I don't like taking too long on

Hmm. I guess it depends on the game. If it is Skyrim then I put some time into it. Fallout I put a little bit more time into it and Mass Effect I put more time then I should xD   I guess it depends

About 30 minutes. It depends on the game really. Fallout takes me only a few minutes. Elder scrolls and Mass Effect lead me to constantly restart if I don't like my character model. :P
