*Giggles at the note he gave her in response to her question and blushed* You're so sweet for a wolf! Oh forgive me... it's just I've never met a wolf before. Sure I talk to dragons and gryphons and... oops I mean... *she shut her mouth* ahem... I mean I encounter other beings on my travels, but never a wolf! But ah... I guess I can only get these at your kingdom huh? Well... I better eat these slowly then and savor them more. Who knows, you might have made a perment client out of me for your place! Long as all these naughty males keep their heads in order around us mares? *she giggled before sniffing the familiar scent of Skylar* Oh um, excuse me a moment? I think I need to catch up with a long lost brotherly friend now. Thank you again for keeping up with me, trust me I am more trouble then I'm worth, ask my husband, he's a dra- um.. I mean he's got quite a dragon's temper for a black pegasi and he can barely handle me! *She giggled again, placing her golden hoof over her smile as she laughed* Well excuse me for a moment... and um.. *she looked at his torn neck* if...you need any help with that...I can try to help...with any pain if any.

 

*She got up, carrying her plate with her hoof rather then her magic, and went to @Skylar's table.*

 

Um...ahem...*she cleared her throat to get his attention from looking at his pendant...she could clearly see he hit it hard the other night...Stupid Bliss...you should have been nicer to him...not a fearing doe...* Hey Skliy...may I join you? I've not eaten in forever but I'd be happy to share wtih you and...um...could we just forget last night and start over?

Sole looked at the note and nodded "deal. Just... Don't freak out." He said, as his talon began to glow blue. He quickly placed the glowing talon on the wolve's neck, and soon the wounds began to heal and disappear. "Don't ask. And remember, You didn't just see a griffon use magic." He said with a nod, before heading back to his table with the bottle.

Seth laughed at the comment about him being cute. In his memory he could remember all comments about him, this was the first time he was called cute. By the way the alicorn was acting, Seth could easily tell that she was hiding something. But hay, it wasn't his place to judge he was a barkeep who used to kill ponies for his people.

Turning back to the griffon, he was a little cautious when he placed the tallon on his throat.  He felt a warmness flow through his hurting neck, extinguishing all the pain as it extended. As his healer left, Seth was left with more questions. He walked over to the table after completely ignoring the request to forget the event.

Sole saw the wolf approach and sighed "can I help you?" He asked nonchalantly, acting like nothing happened. He really didn't want to explain what he just did, or how he did it. It would just make things more complicated. He quietly took another swig of the griffon alcohol.

Seth sat at the table staring at the griffon. After five seconds of glaring at him, Seth spoke.

 

"Wolves are not compatible with magic. We didn't know magic until the pony war. Now tell me how you just healed my throat while a medical team couldn't do anything other than stair at it and cover it with some stitching." He demanded. Seth wasn't the biggest fan magic to begin with, let alone it being used on him. As he glared at the griffon, a letter popped into existence and landed right next to him. He didn't give it any thought.

Sole sighed again and took his hat off. And those who know him would know this is very unusual, he never takes it off. "Look... I know your curious, but trust me when I say you don't wanna know how I did it. You probably won't like the answer..." He said calmly as he drank.

Seth was getting pissed. Today had been long a just plain weird. All he wanted was one simple answer. usually he wouldn't get ticked over a little thing like this, but after having to nearly gun down a pony who threatened a few lives, he was looking a stressed through a rear view mirror. 

 

"Look," He demanded, slamming his paw on the table. "I have been through a war that nearly killed off my race. I have seen friends and family's lives extinguished in my grasp. I have nearly been killed twice! Twice! There is nothing you can say that will hurt me."

*He looks up and clicks the pendant shut, and smiles up at her* *He sighs a little and moves over, grinning up at her* Don't worry about it Sis, you had a tough night, it's been a long time and... yeah you know the rest.. *Changes the subject* Yeah I could really do with some food I haven't eaten in umm...  *Looks at her sheepishly* About two days now....  *Picks up a couple of berries and munches on them, his stomach growls loudly, he doesn't particularly enjoy the taste but he swallows them anyway, more out of hunger than enjoyment* 

 

*Plays with his pendant a little and tries to sound cheery*  Looking a bit more welcoming in here now isn't it? Can't believe all of what happened last night *he breaks off form speaking and looks down at the pendant again, giving a heavy sigh*   -_-

Sole's face was blank for a moment, before a large grin broke out on his face. "Fine you really wanna know?" He asked, before taking a deep breath "I'm a one thousand year old griffon warrior, discord created me during his battles with celestia and luna to help aid him. After his other creations accidentally killed my friend I joined the princesses and helped overthrow him. But something went wrong and I was sealed away about the same time as my father, skip to about a few years ago and here I am. What you just saw was chaos magic, and I'm an abomination. There, happy now?" He finished calmly, acting like that story was normal.

((OOC:It's no use trying to read all this... i hate leaving RPs so please slow down)) Terra had a job to do... things called for a rest. At least a bit... so after comfronting Volt and making sure he was in safe hands he made sure to finish his work for the day. Resting a bit allowed him to clear his mind and finally he decided to go back to the tavern... he wanted to check out what happened there... if Volt was okay... and he wanted to see again the strange wolf that was with him... things were strange a bit. He was worried that Volt might slip back... this wasn't the time to stand idle... so once again he entered the tavern with Fenix on his back. Phoenixes are restless bird needing little to none sleep... a good fire will replenish their energy.

Seth was taken back the explanation, but he was at least satisfied with the answer. If anything, he was glad to see a creature who might have had a similar life to him. As his rage drained away, he sat back in his chair, wondering how to proceed. Noticing the letter, he unfurled it and read to himself. As his eyes moved back in forth, his expression changed from passive to a more tense-anger mix. Once finishing, he furled it back to it's original state and sighed.

 

"You will have to excuse me" He said to the griffon, as he departed for the back room.

 

Once out of sight, Seth slammed a fist against the side of a wall in anger.

 

"Damn you, Celestia!" He muttered to himself. "You had to do this to me. I nearly had my life back and more..."

I'm not sure it is to be honest... *she eyed the rigged old tavern and watched as all sorts of beings interacted with each other, from the bartender wolf, snarling at a new gryphon who she thought went by the name Solo... to the odd looking pony with a phoneix that just walked in before turning back to Skylar* I mean I only came here because my wings were battered from use... it was late and I was hungry... It's a long way back from the meeting place *she leaned in and whispered* The Tree of Unity I mean...to Ponyville and I was alone...can't help to say I'm glad to see you here...even though I'm surprised to find you all the way out here. sole said nothing as he walked away. But just as the wolf had done earlier, sole ignored the request and followed him. "Something wrong?" He asked calmly, suddenly appearing behind him. He was curious now, he wanted to know why the wolf was so angry from the letter.

Volt woke up above his usual bed in the tavern: an empty and ruined barel, it was so damn uncomfortable, but he always loved the pain in his back at the morning... it remembered him all the hard work at te Cloudsdale Weather Factory when he still was at the lower level, also the sleeplees nights and the tons of coffe he drank before his engineering exams...

 

"all for nothing..."sighed Volt

 

he looked around tring to remember the last night...

 

"the white mare!"

 

Volt gasped

 

"i need to be sure... is she really the mare the drunk griphons talked about?"

 

thought Volt

 

"I need a way to talk to her.. but how? i mean..i can't just talk to a princess!"

 

Volt slowly walked toward the counter...

Things were just going from bad to worse. Seth was more than mad this time. This time, he wouldn't hesitate to kill that dark alicorn form earlier just for stress relief. 

 

"Something wrong?" a voice called. Seth turned to it claws raised, poised to strike. Noticing it was the griffon, Seth backed down. 

 

"Wrong? Ya something's wrong. Something is definitely wrong! Apparently the high and mighty sun butt herself is a complete and total troll!" Seth yelled. He walked over to a swivel chair and sat down. With his rant complete, the wolf sighed, releasing his anger.

"so... let me understand this...  I ALMOST KILLED YOU IN ANGER.... FOR A JOKE OF CELESTIA?!?!? WHAT THE BUCK!?!? I WILL REAP HER APPART!"

 

Volt screamed taking off and filling his skin with electricty

 

"calm down! don't let he out again!!!"

 

Volt hitted himself with a glass and landed hardely on the ground

 

"phew.. that was close.. Seth.. please.. pay attention to what you say.... damn... is this a joke isn't it? you are still getting that job aren't you?"

*He was taken a back a little at her stern look and shrunk back a little, looking weaker and even more disheveled than before* Depression I don't know what your? .... *Shrinks even more under her gaze and sighs while fiddling with his pendant* Well Ummm, *sighs and keeps fiddling*  I guess I just miss Callette so much... I know it's only been two weeks but... *Sighs again and looks at her picture* I just miss her....   

 

*Gulps back some juice trying not to sob* I've just been trying to get by really, but I can't stop worrying about her, shes written a few letters giving me updates and they all sound great but  *Sighs*  I know I should be more independant without her but it's hard, it's our first time apart...  *His voice trials off as he looks back up at her, trying to hold back his tears, he smiled weakly*

*She sighed and explained herself to him since it was only fair and leaned in closer hoping no one else would hear*

 

I was on a very important meeting with Empress Nortica from the western Gryphon Empire and dragon leader Ripper of the black wyvern dragons of the North. They needed me to bare witness of adjusting their part of the peace treaty to allow tradings to proceed between the the Imperial Gryphon Hub of the North and the dragon borders there... Heh *she chuckled* Seems that the gryphons have an interest in trading old fallen down dragon scales and agreed to trading their scales for the rare gold and gems they find in the icy mountains outside the Crystal Empire.

 

It's a great deal really *she went on* Night Lights would be so proud to hear his people are getting along well up at the North, though his mother Prya is having issues with some of the smaller gryphon establishments fruther outside the Northern mountain borders... Most likely if she doesn't succeed with the help of Captain Taylon escorting her in peace talks and trade then I'll have to step in and travel back north...again...*She looked at him seeing he was more focused on the picture of Callette then her. She placed a hoof on his and forced a smile* Try not to worry Skylar...You're a big stallion, and Callette is a strong willed mare, you two will be together before you know it. If it helps, maybe we can travel out of here together, when I'm ready and able that is anyway... To be honest I don't really like being here, not after last night... I'm sensing alot of hostility from those that are already here...That wolf Seth the barkeep for instance...he's filled with anger and bitterness...and that Doc. Volt? I don't know whether to think he's cheerful or a tiger ready to burst out of his chest...*She sipped her apple juice and sighed again* You can sense my feelings with our link just as much as I can with you...you know me when I'm nervous...

A flicker of fear twinkled in her eye wondering if he knew about her status...* I will say this much more the next time I go out on a quiet mission...*she turned back to Skylar, still attempting to keep a low profile* I intend to bring Nights with me...I realize now more then ever I need my husband and body guard with me when ever I'm on diplomatic secret meetings...

Seth was trying to think how to word his next phrase. "Well, basically Luna sent me a letter a few days ago saying I was summoned to go to the griffon kingdom with her on a diplomatic conference again. Her request! Needless to say I was thrilled. I sort of have a little crush on her.

 

"Back on topic, so after the incident with the neck thing, the docs message Celestia that I was injured. She just told me that she wishes that I get well soon and that Luna has left for the empire. I was supposed to be there with her and get my old diplomatic career back. That one job would have me in Canterlot castle as royal diplomat. I was about to leave when I got back from the hospital. Now, I'm here, for good."
