She continued to stare, worried there may still be a problem. Her concerns left her as she felt two arms wrap around her tightly. Her words.. The only other ponies to say anything like that to her were her parents. She smiled happily, and shared in Shamrock's embrace. She cried softly as she rested her head into her shoulder.

Seth found himself walking trough a white void, no end in sight. He didn't know were he was, nor how he got there. All he knew was that he was there. Glancing around to either side of him, he called out, "Hello?"

 

To his surprise he got a response.

 

"Hello Seth"

 

Seth turned to see a golden gate. Guarding it was a winged grey wolf standing upon silver podium. This came as a bit of a shock to Seth.

 

"Where am I? Who are you?"

 

The wolven guardian chuckled . "I am the gate keeper, Snow Keeper. As for where you are, you are in the great bound. Heaven."

 

Seth was taken aback. "Heaven, but that would mean that I'm..."

 

"Dead? Sadly yes." Snow replied. "A friend killed you in jellos rage. You died rather quickly."

 

Seth thought over what the guardian said, beginning to remember what happened. "So, I am now in Heaven. Is... Dawn here?" Snow nodded. "Well, I guess it's my..." Seth stopped, noticing he was sinking into the void. "Hey! What gives?"

 

"Well, it seems that your friends have saved your life." Snow explained. Seth's vision clouded as he fell into unconsciousness.

Shamrock strokes Ambiance soothingly while she cried. "Shh, shhh. It's alright, darling. I'm here for you." For some reason she felt for this mare. She was so scared of the thought of her getting hurt. Even thought they just met the other day she wanted to get to know her better and get closer to her. Without thinking she kisses her cheek to help calm her down."I'll always be here."

Ambiance took comfort in Shamrock's embrace. She was still shaking a little from the recent trauma.

She felt the light sensation of a kiss on her cheek, and her words.

She was feeling an overwhelming feeling of... happiness? Love? She hadn't felt anypony show her affection of any kind in the longest time. She held her even tighter. "I know you will..." She put her mouth to the back of her ear, pushing back her unkempt mane, and kissed her back.

Shamrock gasped a little from the kiss. But there was a warm feeling going thought her from it. And her face turned scarlet. "E-easy with my ears, darling. They're pretty s-sensitive." She lightly nuzzles Ambiance's cheek while she keeps stroking her mane.

She smiled as she shared in her embrace. And looked to the ground.

Words finally returned to her.

"Um..."Her eyes grew wide. "Shouldn't we contact the hospital, or maybe take him to the hospital ourselves?"

She laughed a little at what they were doing, in an attempted murder scene at that!

She began to feel a little guilty.

"But seriously,  we should get him to a hospital..."

"Don't bother. He's gone. Just like you two should be. I get it, you both need comfort, but there's a dead body, and I'm still here too, and it's getting slightly awkward. I'll do what needs to be done. I have to know though, do you know who did this? I need to be able to tell the police...something"

As Seth's perception on reality began to unfold, the first feeling that hit him was pain. It came slowly at first, but soon became overwhelming for the wolf. He began cringe at the agony that was his throat. As the pain increased, he began to phase into reality. With every passing moment the pain doubled. He tried to scream, but all that escaped his lips was a squeak as more pain struck his already overwhelmed nerves. All he could do was produce a few mussel spasms in an attempt to counteract the agony.

Shamrock blushed a little more and let go of  Ambiance."Hehe, right." She stood up. "I'll just go get a drink and check on Seth. You too work out what you're going to say to the cops."She wish she could keep hugging Ambiance but there are more important things going on."I'll just be up stairs if you need me." She walked off.

More feeling was coming back to him, which only brought more pain. His spasms continued to increase, beginning to cause his face to cringe in pain. Again he tried to yell, but the attack on the throat made that a painful failure. Seth usually would be thinking, but the shire amount of pain had block all rational thought. He continued to slightly cringe in pain.

"I..." She felt so... lonely, from being let go of this embrace, and shivered a little.

She turned to Tranq.

"Umm... there was a dark blue pegasus, I saw him, and the blood... and I..."

Her thoughts were a bit blurry of the events that had unfolded. "Then Seth..."

She took deep, even breathes in an attempt to calm herself.

"I attacked him, but he ran away... I don't know his name, but he had a yellow-ish mane..."

Tranq's eyebrows narrowed. I remember him. I don't know who he is though. She nodded at Ambiance. "I'm glad at least someone saw something. Thanks. Let's get upstairs, so we don't mess up the crime scene worse than we already have." She lit up the room with her horn. Poor Seth. He seemed really excited about whatever it was that letter said. She looked around at the grizzly sight, and once more at the wolf's body. Without all the blood, you'd think he was just sleeping.

The pain! The retched pain! Every member of his body felt like he was being stabbed. As consciousness finally broke through the enigma of the fallen wolf, he released countless body spasms, continuing to react to the pain. Seth's eyes bust open, although they were meaningless gestures of the nerve impulses. If he could, he would have screamed. All that coursed through his brain was PAIN.

Well, he's gone...He probably wouldn't mind if I touched his fur now. Probably would have when he was alive. I bet it's really soft. Tranq checked to make sure the basement was empty, then move towards the wolfs body. She reached to feel his fur, and looked to his eyes. They were still open. Still open? I thought Shamrock had closed them. Holy shit. He's alive. Wow, that's embarrassing for me. She started screaming "Shamrock! Ambiance! SOMEONE GO GET HELP! FOR REAL THIS TIME!"

"Just what the hell is going on? Can someone explain it to me? Do i have to bring the guards in here? Because it seriously just sounded like someone got really hurt here."

Ambiance heard Tranq scream from the cellar, as well as the statement from Terra.

 

"Yes! Bring some guards! Anypony! Just get help!"

 

She ran, heart pacing, into the cellar, and turned to Tranq.

 

"Okay, what do you need me to do? I already sent somepony for help!"

 

Her heart continued to race, her breathes were frantic again.

Volt was alone in the everfree forest.... what have he done he couldn't understand.. it's like a desease, an evil seed was growing inside him..

Shamrock was in the bathroom when she heard all the shouting. She quickly ran out to where everyone was. "The feck is going on!? Why is everyone freaking out?" She walks over to Seth and sees that his eyes are wide open. "Oh damneigh." She quickly ran and got the first aid. "I've seen this before. His body locked up and he can't move. But from that thrashing he must be in a feck tun of pain." She digs in the kit and pulled out a needle of morphine and shoots it in Seth's arm. "That'll weaken the pain but we really need to get him to a hospital."

She watched in morbid anticipation as Seth continued to writhe in pain.

She closed her eyes. Hoping, praying for his safety. He had to make it.

She felt a sudden calm rush over her mind as she watched Shamrock  continue her handy work.

"What should we do? How do we get him to the hospital?"

"We need someone to take him there. But it'll have to be someone pretty fast. And I mean someone who can really book. Cause the faster we get him there the better. Is there anyone here who can haul some major tail. I'm pretty fast but not fast enough to get him there."

"I don't know... I..." She began to panic. "There's nopony here who can run fast enough..."

She began to shake her head furiously, and grind her teeth in stress.

What if we can't save him...

She looked at Shamrock, and shook her head again.

"I don't know anypony that can help..."

She, again, began to cry.

Shammy got and hugged Ambiance to calm her down again. "Easy darling. It's going to be alright. If there isn't anyone here, I'll do it. I may be boxer but I do a lot of running." She pulls away and look in her eyes. "I'll get him there. I promise." She let go of her and carefully put Seth on her back. She walked back up to Ambiance and gives her a quick peck on the lips then smiles. "For luck." And without another word she dashed out the door and headed for the nearest hospital.

Terra turned to Fenix who awaited proudly his master's orders. 

Once the body was away Terra firmly placed his foot on the ground. "None should leave this place! Not until the garisson arrives! Give me a quill, ink and paper. I am going to send them a message with my phoenix."

After fearing the slightest pinprick, the pain began to subside rapidly. Shortly after, all that he could feel was just milled irritation of his neck. As the discomfort passed, both the spasms stopped and his heart rate slowed. Finally, he could think.

 

'Ok... Apparently I'm alive, back I'm equestria... No, I can't prove that. Just stick to the basics...

 

'My name is Seth Eclipse. I work as a tavern keeper. I just got a letter from Princess Luna requesting my presence in Canterlot. Volt asked me to bring up a barrel. He then killed me. I went to heaven. Now, I'm here? This is going to need much...more...thought.' Seth mentally said as he slipped back into unconsciousness.
