StrawberryTasu 61 January 7, 2014 Author Share January 7, 2014 *facehoof* I get that there are legit reasons to not like bronies. But to go out of your way to make a facebook group, wish death upon them just for enjoying a cartoon not specifically targeted towards their demographic is going way too far and makes them sound worse then the people they are attacking. Especially if one of them is a mother. I feel sorry for the mother's children. They could just be trolls looking for attention just to get a reaction out of the fandom. If they are then they really got to much time on their hand and should really do something better with their life. Ah that felt good to get that rant out. My advice just ignore them they really aren't worth your time. That's exactly what I'm saying. Just ignore it. The receiving end AND the giving end. It shouldn't ever result to someone killing themselves. That would be too far. That's why I said I love everyone. Suicide is NOT worth it, it would be telling the bully's they won 2 Made by me. Hive King 2,001 January 7, 2014 Share January 7, 2014 To shed some light on this, here's some reasoning from the mouth of an Anti-Brony Hmm, yes, I did respond quickly. The difference however is that only a few minutes have passed since my first comment of the day, your quick response is the reason for my quick response. If you believe few bronies spread their filthy obsession, you know very little of your own kind. Despite falsely preaching "love and tolerance" most bronies show very little of either to those who do not think highly of their show, and will take it upon themselves to make sure the unfortunate target of their attention is brought round to their way of thinking. Bronies typically justify their intense faggotry by claiming that the "haters" just haven't given the show a chance, or that they are too insecure with their own masculinity to enjoy it. The truth is that most normal people do not enjoy a show that is designed for infant children, and by constantly forcing it down the throats of these people, this makes you nothing but a nuisance to them, and worse yet, if you do succeed with your conversion, you are likely creating another nuisance person, who will act as you do, and try to spread the "miracle" that is MLP to others too. Bronies are nothing more than vermin that need to be stamped out. It was on Youtube(of course) and it might have been a troll, but here's one reason for why certain people are Anti-Bronies. Apparently, some people don't like the fact that bronies tend to use pony related stuff everwhere. Another guy I ran into didn't like bronies because of the enormous amount of Rule 34(Stuff that is on Youtube, i.e. every Twixie Fanfic Ever) The point is, that these people are acting rather irrationally but there is a reason behind it, albeit poor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qCbF8Zo1NU This on the other hand, must be a troll, there's no other way to explain it "Aren’t we the same? You know, aren’t you carrying the same mindset as I am? Just because you couldn’t bear to lose, you lost your precious partner! You really call yourself a true duelist? You’re the complete opposite of that!" -Weevil Underwood
ChoroChii 284 January 7, 2014 Share January 7, 2014 I don't know, it just seems sort of strange how you'd tell them something like "Don't like it, don't look at it" when you're doing the same exact thing to their page. I'm not trying to be insensitive or anything and I do hope you feel better but I just think one Facebook page can be easily ignored. There will always be hate and the best thing to do is focus on what makes you happy. As for the second paragraph, I disagree, as I believe everybody judges at least a few things and I can't see anybody I hardly know as a family. It doesn't matter, it's encouraging people to hate and harass others just for being in a certain fandom and that can lead to bad things on the internet, 90% of the furry hate came from ED's constant bashing of them and calling for them to be hated on. The fine and jail time for pushing somebody to suicide, it just makes me feel angry, considering suicide is a choice but that doesn't mean I don't understand either. I know, those people are losers and need to be stopped. I'm saying that cyberbullying in general isn't much of a threat. Try being stalked and harassed for over a year to the point where you're curled up in a ball, afraid to utter a word. Afraid of being doxed, afraid of strange internet people finding you and harming you, the point where the block button doesn't even help. It makes your average cyberbullies look like nothing. King Sejong 859 January 8, 2014 Share January 8, 2014 (edited) I have seen a lot of repulsiveness from people I use to know, or just some random citizen I happen to come across, and when I was in the service, people would actually tell us to go and hurt others including ordinary Americans, it was deeply saddening and it hurts to know that so many feel that way. It would appear to observe, that people can be persuaded to hate someone without ever knowing that person or their affiliation, and with the over abundance of ignorance and apathy in modern society, that resentment can be like playing with fire, a good servant and fearful master. I would just ignore the anti brony revellers, however I do consider many good bronies apart of my extended family, as my normal family has drifted away perusing baser lust, there is very people I would rather speak too, and that is one of the main reasons I joined the herd, so for all the ailing bronies out there I say to you, keep calm and flutter on, and may we all find our Equestria wherever that may be. They are the ones who are SICK not us you have to look past these idiots because by giving any sort of attention to these kinds of people is exactly what they want. Let them be like that because I will never ever want to live my life enjoying to put others down like that. Let them be that way because I just see people like nothing less than pathetic. It's perfectly right for them to held responsible for it, letting them get away with pushing someone that far would be all kinds of wrong and the exact opposite of justice. And what you just described IS cyber-bullying. It's a more extreme form, yes: but it's still cyber bullying. I once had someone try to DOX me(and fail miserably because there's like a dozen people with my name in IOWA alone) just for posting(clean) furry and Sonic art somewhere. That's how bad this kind of fandom hatred can get. "You know, I don't know who or what you are Methos, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you did teach me something.
