Lore: MLP:FiM takes place at a point where the mane six are middle-aged, and in fact have a much more interesting past. 30 years prior to FiM, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy performed a successful coup d'etat in Cloudsdale and turned it into a Nazi state. They targeted earth ponies for their lack of ability to fly or do magic, and used them to fuel the rainbow factory. Ponyville retaliated. Twilight lived in Canterlot during this time, where the war was kept secret from the populace for their own safety.

 

(See similarities? Yes, this is inspired by Rainbow Factory.)

This is a serious project and is going somewhat well since we found an animator. We still do need quite a lot of voice actors though, and maybe somebody to design background ponies. Another animator would be nice too. A full list of what's taken and what's open can be found here.

 

If you're interested but just want to watch, that's great, but you'll have to be patient. While I did say production is going well, it is going somewhat slow. Perhaps with more support we can speed things up.

what would be required for the creativity assistant? that sounds interesting to me, and i could also do voice work

Creativity assistant = who gets called when the director (Kelario) runs out of ideas. Right now we're blank for an opening sequence.

how about it opens up with like a black and white shot of canterlot with their flag in full color (works best if the flag has red colors) it zooms up and cuts to a shot of fluttershy and rainbow dash side by side both with stern looks on their faces and have them gray scaled, then the camera zoom cuts to your main characters, either in a group shot, pan shot, or zoom cutting to each character, then at the end cut to full black and the logo fades in,

 

if you dont like it ill think of something else

-Black and white shot of Canterlot with flag in full colour, as you suggested.

-Shot of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, as suggested.

-Cut to the Ponyville mayor.

-Cut to Rainbow Dash grinding teeth.

-Cut between generals of both sides.

-Rainbow and pegasus general fly straight down and do sonic rainboom, making the screen black.

-Fade in logo, as suggested.
