Has the Forum Font changed?

From what I understand the only thing thats changed in terms of site design is the scrolling user bar and the way banners work. The font shouldn't have changed.

The forum font has not been changed. It has always been the same Arial font for posts.

However the banner and navigation bar has changed from something like this

  Reveal hidden contents

...to how it looks now.

The font on the buttons has changed from Celestia Redux to Josefin Sans.

I understand as to what the banner and that has changed, since well the banner font changes with each banner change of course. I was wonding why I was getting that text like above rather than the smoother text.

Oh and this one is probably more easier to see: http://prntscr.com/2jdx4q

It seems like this is a problem that occurs only for you. Are you using a computer or a phone? What browser are you using?

I'm not seeing that on my screen. It looks like this for me:

What forum theme are you using? If you don't know, you can find out by clicking Change Theme in the page footer, like so:

Also, what browser are you using, and is it up to date?

I'm on the old one, not the new. And I'm using google chrome and I'm pretty sure it's up to date.

Even when I switch to the old theme, I do not see any of the odd text issues that you are seeing:

  Reveal hidden contents

Assuming that you are experiencing this on a computer, what operating system are you using?

If you have Helvetica Neue installed then uninstall it.

For some reason it causes a lot of issues in web browser font rendering across all operating systems.

I have no idea what that is, but knowing this computer I do probably have it. Though I wouldn't know where to find it in order to get rid of it.

Helvetica Neue is a font. This guide can help you uninstall it: http://www.pcworld.com/article/241036/how_to_install_and_uninstall_fonts_in_windows.html

If you are still experiencing this issue after uninstalling that font, or if you need further assistance with uninstalling that font, please let us know. :)

It's a font. You'll just need to search for fonts in your Windows start menu, click the one that is something like "view or edit fonts" and then right click on the Helvetica Neue don't and uninstall it.

If you're on Mac, open up Applications and then Fontbook and uninstall Helvetica Neue.

Hello , did you ever successfully uninstall the Helvetica Neue font from your computer, and if so, did it remedy the technical issues that you are experiencing?
