So who is excited for this game?

I've been a long fan of the Dragon Age series and I have to admit this is looking like the best Dragon Age yet, possibly even Biowares best game yet...
Those who played Dragon Age 2 know of the issues that plagued the game, but it seems like Bioware has fixed all of these. They even set the launch day back a year so they could add more in...the game at its current standing is playable from start to finish, so for the next few months its all adding extra content and polishing the game.... I cant wait :3

I'm very skeptical. Origins and its expansion were AMAZING old school RPGs. DA2 was a disaster....bare with me. The game had great visuals, I did like some of the new art directions (HATE the new dark spawm models through...sooooo cheesy). The combat flowed well, but a little fast IMO. Great new skill tree system. RETARDED on how the limited ally customization, no armor changes.

 

Worst of all was the constantly recycled maps for so many missions The skill and combat system was such a good system wrapped in a crappy package. I will wait for the reviews.

Actually you can purchase upgrades for their armour which alter it slightly, but I understand what you mean, I prefer Dragon Age Origins style where you can outfit them with whatever you want.

 

Truthfully...Im not skeptical at all...from what I've seen....extremely different locations, HUGE areas that are bigger then All of Dragon Age 2 out together, fleshed out story, choices that actually impact the world, awesome design, great looking combat with added tactical view, and the magic...omg to die for :3

i would be lying if i said i was stoked, it's been a while since i played by dragon age games, 2 wasn't bad but it wasn't as great a number 1.. it's been a long time in production so they must be planning on making the game right with the RPG elements.

Not particularly but it's more because I've yet to play the games than anything. I'm a huge RPG fan so that alone makes me wanna play it but other than that I have no actual interest in the series. There's also tons of other games I'm actually interested in so it's not likely I'm gonna get to this series at all for a good amount of time.

There are a couple of games I am looking forward to but this one is the one I am most looking forward to, Dragon Age 2 wasn't as good but Origins was one of the best games I played in quite a while.
