StarShine heard a knocking on her door. She opened it and saw it was a mail pony. She smiled and said "Hi is that for me?" The pony nodded and handed her the box. She took it and closed the door. She went to her bed and opened it. She saw it was her new gun holsters. She smiled and put them on. They fix like a glove on the slim frame. She walked outside and shot up into the air. She started to fly around. When she got to the ocean and stepped into the water after taking off her holster. She gulped as the water lapped at her hooves. She dove in and didn't panick. She tried everything to stay calm. She started paddling and swimming. She dove under water and soon got the hang of it. When she finished she flew out of the water. She grabbed her things and went back to her room.

"Oh, now that's more like it!" Thunder stated as he cocked his old Baretta. The bits for the weapons are on me." He stated as he got into his Charger and gunned the engine. "Hey fellas, tag along will ya?" Thunder asked some nearby gang members. He waited for them to get in the car.

Whiplash jumped in to the passenger seat of Thunder's car, already cocking her gun. "Ah, finally. Something to do!" the Pegasus grinned, propping her legs on the dashboard and leaning nonchalantly in her seat. "Damn, I still need my car," she muttered, Thunder's charger reminding her of her loss.

"Hey, with some of those bits back at Neds den, I can hook you up with something." Thunder offered as he drove out the hideout and towards the southern factory area. He kept a sharp eye out for any Vice Kings roaming about. At least he had a second member to aid him if anything. "Alright, so Ned needs us to drive out this group of homeless ponies from his den. This way, Ned can get his business back up and running, and we can get that stash of bits." Thunder stated as he continued to drive.

Whiplash' eyes widened slightly. "Hell yeah, you should hook me up. I need a fast car though, something I can get a rush out of," the Pegasus grinned, leaning back in her seat more. She twitched her ear as she drowned out half of what Thunder had said. "Yeah, yeah, I heard him already. Kick some old bums out of his place, and we'll get some money," the Mare said, glancing outside the window.

Whiplash smiled as he named the car, nodding slightly. "Ah, I like the sound of that!" she said enthusiastically as they finally got to Ned's Den. The Pegasus nodded at Thunder, hopping out of the car, resting a hoof on the trigger of her gun. "Right. I don't think they're gonna be much trouble, especially with the two of us. I say we just barge in and evacuate the place," Whip said quietly, narrowing her eyes. It was odd to be working with Thunder, considering she had wanted to rip his throat out at least twice.

"Alright, when I count to three, we rush in and rid those buckers. One...two...THREE!" Thunder shouted as he kicked the door down and charged in.

"Got it." Thunder stated as he slowly approached the building. When he got the to the door, he pressed his ear against it. He could hear chattering on the other side. "Alright, when I count to three, we rush in and rid those buckers. One...two...THREE!" Thunder shouted as he kicked the door down and charged in.

 

The first room was almost completely empty. It connected to a hallway leading downstairs and another staircase leading to the top floor. There was one thing the living room however.

 

Two elderly mares dressed in rags were sitting around a broken down table. Each of them had been holding a hand of cards before the door was kicked open, when they immediately dropped them.

Thunder stopped. "Wait a minute...I must've been hearing things. Those voices must be coming from somewhere." Thunder stated as he passed the two elderly ponies. Thunder saw the staircase ahead of him. "Let's go down there. They should be there." Thunder stated.

Whiplash nodded, glancing at the elderly mares. "Alright, you guys need to get out, this is Ned's place again. Don't make me repeat myself," the Pegasus asserted severely, walking towards the staircase. She wouldn't be too brutal as long as they didn't put up a fight. Whiplash began ascending the creaky staircase, gun aimed perfectly erect in front of her, before finally stepping in to another room.

Thunder went down the staircase. The voices grew a little louder. "They've gotta be down here." Thunder stated as he went down the creaky staircase. A board nearly split when he walked on it almost causing him to tumble down the stairs. "Dear Celestia! That was a close one." Thunder stated.

StarShine saw her cellphone. She picked up her HiPhone and said "Um.. Hello?" Since their was no caller display. She was careful not to drop it or get it wet along the beach shore. The sun was blistering agesnt her coat. She got closer to the cool water.

Whiplash glanced at the senile mares, jabbering nonsense. She felt a small bit of sympathy, but quickly pushed it out of her mind with a shake of her head. As Thunder almost took a fall, she groaned. "Hey, try not to break yourself Sparky!" the Pegasus whispered, rolling her eyes slightly, as she saw another staircase climbing up.

The staircase seemed devoid of life. At the bottom, there was a concrete floor, but no ponies could be seen. Beneath the stairs, two middle aged stallions stood in wait with butterfly knives in their hoofs. They planned to attack the first thing that came down the stairs, not expecting more than one intruder.

Whiplash, cocky as she was, rolled her eyes, following Thunder. "C'mon Sparky. The whole place is basically deserted. Looks like this was even easier then I thought," she grinned, walking right in the range of the hidden stallions.

Thunder gathered more electricity. "Now's not the time to be cocky. Be on the look out. Some of these ponies could kill us if we don't watch out." Thunder stated as he took a step forward and stopped again. He really did not want Whip to take another step. He wasn't scared, but for some reason, he knew something would happen.

Knowing that no one intruder could handle two targets at once, the war veterans leapt from their hiding place with their knives in hoof. They yelled out a synchronized war cry as they both pounced at Thunder in unison. Visions of their youthful days of fighting rushed through their heads as they attacked with viscous passion.

"Shit!" Whiplash shouted, cocking her gun back in to place. In half a second, she had adjusted her aim, and swiftly shot one of the stallions in the shoulder. "Where the hell did you even come from?" she snarled, once again aiming her gun.

"Yeah, don't worry about me. You okay?" the Mare asked, unready to look away from the two stallions. Whiplash gritted her teeth, eyeing the two of them. "Get out. Ned is reclaiming this place, got it? Get your friends and find somewhere else to live. Or do you want to try making another move like that again?" Whip hissed. With master precision, the Pegasus shot the wall a few centimeters from one of the pony's heads. "Next time, I won't miss," she growled.
