"well if you give a close look, the chassis is from the 2008 Lotus Elise, i prefer the old 2006 chassis but this works too, pratically is a lightered up Elise with an advanced electronic and electric power, there isn't just a central motor, two small Brushless motors are directely connected the the rear semi axles, to reduce wieght even more... by the way i am in for the race"

"Well technically it's a locally directed Radio Frequency pulse that soft-kills basically anything you point it at. The emitter itself is shielded in a way that it shouldn't affect the electronics in my car. But that's enough technobabble, let's get to racing."

Swift was listening to the conversation going on about EMPs, he got out his car and walked over to join in on the conversation "if he has back up systems like every racer has then it would only short circuit his car for a second but that's all the cops would need to get close in and pin you and then well you lose but like she said if your car hasn't got back up systems then in that case your car would become a large street decoration"

Rut-Light asked as he started to slowly back away towards his moderately modified Ford Raptor, fitted with a high-end ramming chassis, lightened by about 1000 pounds, LED headlights and mixed surface tires installed. He then turned around and trotted towards his truck, climbed inside the cab and turned over he engine; revving it a few times before slowly backing out of the lot and pulling up next to the other cars before asking, "So what about it? 4-way drag race for a full mile?"

Frozen Reverie shakes her head, "Not quite. This isn't your run-of-the-mill Electromagnetic pulse... Those are designed to shut off a car's systems, this is designed to kill cars. It doesn't care how many redundant systems you have, it straight up melts the circuit board that would be controlling your car. It's powerful, but the range is a little short and it has a tight firing arc, either way I'd never dare use it on another racer, this is solely to escape cops and destroy security systems."
