Firelight's eyes jerked wide as the shards flew at him. He ducked and rolled in a flash, stopping about three feet away. His senses were on fire. He was alive with the heat of battle. But the power inside him was getting harder to keep under wraps. "Look, I feel I should warn you. If I lose control, there will be consequences. I would appreciate it if you wouldn't laugh and pay no attention to what I'm saying. I'm sure your more powerful than I can imagine. But even still, you should be wary. Please don't take my words lightly." he said to the two enemies. 'Well, I warned them. Hopefully they listen.' he thought to himself as he waited for a reaction.

Flame smirked. "Trust me I have no problme with you...though I must ask...would you be happy if peace comes to this world? No War...don't dodge my question this time because I want to know what you think" Flame said as he heard the sound of electricity.

 

 

Equinox was running towards the sound of a dragon. He would deal with the general later but now the dragon is a worse problem.

Clarent looked at him with shards as eyes he raised his hand and 100s of shards flew up into the air circling around its master for a few seconds and racing towards Firelight with incredible speed "I grow weary of hearing about other powers, I have the powers of Kings! Long Arthur himself! Power you've only seen in your deepest nightmares!"

She watched as the scene unfolded. She saw as Renegade stood and accepted his fate. She watched a losing battle, and there was nothing she could do..

 

She looked to Sky, "Let me go, damnet!" She struggled a little, until she finally gave in, and watched the scene before her grow ever distant...

'Well, there goes diplomacy' he thought. He didn't have a choice now. He just hoped it was enough. He let go and relinquished control. His eyes lit up with a red light as his psyche was pushed back. An ancient prescence came to the forefront of his mind. His body became encased ina swirling vortex of flame. Then the vortex swirled away, out of the way of the attack. The ball of fire came to rest several feet away. A voice came from the flames that was deeper than Firelight's normal voice. "Hmmm, you are annoying indeed." The flame dissipated and there stood Firelight, but there was a difference. His eyes were filled with an ancient dark, cold wisdom.

Flame smirked as he was about to throw something but was stopped by a blade to his neck. "Well...it's been a while Equinox" He said as Shade/Equinox/Sol was here. "Not long enough" He looked at Firelight and Shadow. "Missed me or did you forget I existed" Equinox said

The general watched as Shade forgot about him and ran off in another direction.

 

General Hex: "Hey! Where are you going? Afraid of a fight?"

 

He yells as he proceeds to chase after him.

 

Pat: "Something's up, Lets go!"

 

Patterson says when he sees Shade run off. He creates a holo hover bike, climbs on, and pulls river up onto the bike behind him. River holds onto Pat tightly as he speeds off in the direction that Shade ran. He quickly catches up to, and almost runs over the general, who back flips high into the air just barely allowing the bike to miss. However Patterson punches the general in the face as he passes overhead. The general was stunned when he hit the ground.

 

"Heh." 'Can't say I didn't enjoy that.'

Equinox looked at Clarent. "Well...the blade left it's master..." Equinox said. "No...more like hes dead because of that guy" Flame said as Equinox looked at Renegade. "He killed him...he denied my vengeance..." He let Flame go and looked at Renegade before throwing an emp grenade to shut off the barrier. "This guy is mine" He said

Shadow didn't know what to do now they had to keep the girls safe and make sure they could deal with these weird ponies. On top of that a rift opened up and the dragon that had been sucked away returned. Things weren't looking good for Firelight and the rest of the group. "Heh well if this is where we die then so be it." Suddenly a blast of bright light hit the area blinding all and burning the Dragon forcing it to retreat for the time being. The only thing Shadow could hear were the sounds of wings before he was lifted up into the sky, Firelight and Renegade had the same happen. A white pegasus wearing old royal guard armor flew over to Sky. "Please my lady follow us to safety." With that they were gone in a brilliant flash.

Renegade was blinded by the sudden light,all the events that had happened to him in this short time was...really overwhelming...he reached out for Ambiance and yelled out to her,"Ambiance!! I'm sorry!! I will find you...I...I love you!"he called out to her,he felt like he had to say the last part because he feared what might happen to him.

"Maybe not today or tomorrow but his soul will be mine" Clarent spoke as the winged Pegasus took everyone away, Clarent refs there's all his shards and walked away, Clarent didn't know where to start but placing a shard on the white winged Pegasus was a good place to start

Firelight was gazing indifferently at the enemies before him. The dragon returned and he barely raised an eyebrow. Just then he was somewhat blinded by a bright light and he felt himself be lifted into the air. He looked up to see a pegasus royal guard picking him up. His expression didn't change.

 

Sky nodded with a pale face and followed the guard.

Equinox looked at Clarent. "Didn't think a sword can move while it's owner is dead" Equinox said sheathing Muramasa. "Listen Equinox...You and Clarent both want revenge a-" "I want renegade dead if it means helping you then forget it" Equinox hissed. Flame frowned at what he said.

"I'm no longer a sword, but a ghostly presence built by the shards of a once great weapon, this dragon is an abberant, I like it, *snap* your my pet now dragon" Clarent walked away and the dragon followed its new master

Clarent only looked back once, to reassure himself the shard placed on The royal guard was still there it was, he would let them fall back to their petty hideout then Clarent would follow and tarnish it! Burn it to ashes, and undoubtedly killing the royal guards that saved his enemies

The pegasus flew them withing the mountain, in the center of the mountain was a damaged castle. But it was what was around the castle that caught Shadow's eyes and made his heart beat faster. Greenery honest to Celestia real plant life. Shadow couldn't believe it, nopony had really seen anything like this in years. There were trees and beautiful flowers everywhere and birds real birds. Once they landed Shadow started searching the guards finding a shard on him he quickly crushed it. The castle was in bad shape but still had excellent defenses.

( OK I'm calling you on this one leave the dragon to me to control I brought it in so I'll control it your character is way to OP as it is.)

Patterson pulled up in the holo hover bike, hopped off, helped River down, and then the bike disappeared. They both walked over to the group.

 

Pat: "I saw this huge flash of light! What happened over here? And who the hay are these guys?"

 

He asked Shade while pointing at Clarent and Flame.

"Clarent the sword and Flame Stryke" Equinox said. "Very nice to meet you" Flame said jokingly. "Flame is part of the reason the world is like this and Clarent...is the sword of the now Dead Blaze who was killed by Renegade" Equinox explained. "Yes but I had little cause for this problem" Flame said

Firelight watched from the back of his mind at the unfolding events. 'Okay I want my mind back now.' he thought to the prescence now controlling his body. 'Are you sure?' came the cold answer. 'Yes, I think we are safe now.' Firelight thought. 'Very well, if you say so.' The element of fire once again returned to the depths of Firelight's psyche, leaving him in control. The whole conversation had been in his head, but he still joped nopony noticed. His eyes widened as they entered the huge cavern. Sky gasped and put her hoof to her mouth. When Firelight was put down he walked over to Sky and they together stood looking at the beauty before them.

One of the royal guards looked back at the group. "Please follow me if you will." The pegasus walked inside the castle, Shadow following closely and hoping the others weren't so enamored by the beauty that they too were following. The castle on the inside was very elaborate and well decorated with royal tapestries and pictures of the Royal sisters. There were even pictures of Princess Twilight and Cadance decorating the walls. It was then that they stopped in front of a large door, the guard standing to the side and motioned for them to head on through. What awaited them on the other side was a mystery to them all.

Pat: "Sooo, these are the bad guys, huh? Good to know.(He says looking from one to the other) I suppose we are just going stare at each other until one of us drops dead then?"

 

Patterson was a little confused as to why they were simply standing around, talking. Seemed unusual, especially for...A Sword???

 

"So, that guy's a sword..." 'Seems legit' "Well at least Blaze is dead, so you won't have to worry about vengance anymore."

"Patterson do you know how it is being a cyborg....not being able to actually feel anything...not know what hot or cold is anymore...it's horrible and he killed me only for me to be changed into a heartless monster" Equinox said before he looked at Flame.  "All because you fixed him together..." He held Muramasa.  "I must say though...it got rid of Dernaged...meaning I can actually hurt somepony without killing them like Deranged always does" He said as he looked at Clarent. 

 

 

"Yes but it's all great with whats going on warmongers, mercenaries, militias, even bounty Hunters hell even me, are gaining something from this...we are getting more jobs. In this world everyone want someone dead so someone hires someone to kill and it goes on forever...soon a third war will happen and I plane to let it happen" Flame said.

Blazed steppes closer to Patterson with sharp shards to his throat "Don't ever refer to me as a sword! Don't talk about my master at all unless you want the one you love to have her insides carved from within! I have power you can only dream of!" Clarent yelled at Patterson with large emphasis.

Firelight put his hoof around Sky and the both of them began following the guard. Sky leaned in and asked "Is It you in there or the other guy?" Firelight smiled grimly and nodde and said "Yeah it's me." "Are you okay?" she asked in response. "I'm fine babe." he leaned over and kissed the top of her head. he found himself taking in all the surroundings, feeling thoroughly awed.

Patterson barely breathed as the shards poked at his throat

 

Pat: "He called you a sword first. (He said pointing at Equinox) I just got here."

 

He said, quite upset at the accusation.

 

"Come on River, I think we should leave Shade and his "friends" alone." 'I hope Shade doesn't let his feelings get the better of him.'

 

He turns away to leave, hoping to Celestia that they will leave them alone for River's sake.
