You would truly live your life in Equestria, like you would live your life IRL. Everypony would act as if you've been around since you were born, so you wouldn't be a stranger. I'm a lucid dreamer, so I can induce dreams where I know that I'm in a dream and exploit that knowledge. But I cannot control yet where I'll go in a dream. It's pretty much random, even if I "do the StarSwirl" and teleport into some other dreamscape. I've been in Equestria several times, but the odds are pretty low that I'll get there purposely. I still enjoy it when I manage to get there, though Last time I was there was just a few days ago. I was a Dragon (might be Spike), and I was helping Rarity to climb at some tree where there were gemstones growing. In the meantime, I needed to draw attention of some Diamond Dogs which were guarding this gemstone orchard so that Rarity could sneak in unseen. But after some time they spotted her, and I had to help her escape. Strangely, I had wings, so I could grasp her with my claws and use my wings to fly away with her. She stole a lot of tasty gemstones for me (Nothing to brag about, 'cuz I've been eating crystals in my non-Equestrian dreams several times already in my dreamer's career and I know how they taste ) The best experience I had in Equestria was when Twilight Sparkle taught me how to teleport It really works! I could stare at some place and suddenly a flash of light appeared, and it was like the whole view abruptly zoomed in into the place I wanted to be in. As if the whole world moved around me, and not myself has moved into that place. Somewhat similar to how it seems in the "Jumper" movie, but I could perceive it from the first-person perspective. Really neat experience I tried teleporting earlier in my dreams, but it has never worked such a charm as now when I know Twilight's spell (P.S.: I can also explain you why Twilight cannot teleport just anywhere she likes: She needs to know the place she's teleporting to, and she needs to see it; to have it in her view.) Well, I kinda was thinking about lucid dreaming when I was writing this thread, but I wanted it to be more realistic, so I said Equestria would be real when I go to sleep Anyways, I've been trying to have lucid dreams for almost 2 years now, and I have succeeded only 4 times. But If what I wrote there is not enough, let me know, or ask some more specific questions, and I'll try to help Don't get me wrong, I don't dream consciously every night. Sometimes, when my mind is occupied with something else, I prefer normal dreaming. But there are nights where I can have several lucid dreams one after another (side note: many things in the "Inception" movie are real). This is actually easier, because when you have one lucid dream and you awake from it, you already have the proper state of mind to get into another one. As with orgasms: when you had one, it's easier to get another one when you're still hot than to start from scratch (pun intended ). The proper state of mind is the key here, more than any techniques.
