Name: Desert Duster ("Dusty")

Age: Young Adult

Gender: Female

Species: Earth Pony

 

Appearance: Medium brown coat with darker speckles, dark brown mane/tail in dreadlock-like braids, with the mane tied slightly back. Very dark, slightly almond shaped eyes. Wears reinforced leather armor.

 

Cutie Mark: A small cyclone made of sand.

 

Personality: Duster's a fairly short-tempered and snappish pony, and she has very little patience. She isn't very trusting of many other ponies, but if you can get on her good side, she's got your back for sure. She likes a good brawl, and takes her sharpshooting very seriously.

 

Backstory: She was born in a Stable in western Equestria, which opened of it's own accord (through magical means, I assume?) when she was just a filly. The inhabitants decided to venture into the world, and soon an outpost formed around the Stable's vicinity, a thriving little settlement for travelers and explorers to rest and trade for supplies from the Stable. She stayed there a while, but grew weary of life and decided to take up her rifle-equipped battle saddle and head East, searching for adventure and her own way of life.

 

Other: She uses her saddle-mounted sniper rifle to shoot down enemies from afar if she can help it, but if caught in a tight spot, she has a .44 magnum and, as a last resort, fairly good training in unarmed combat with a pair of toughened spiked horseshoes (equivalent of spiked knuckles?) to back her up. Trained in Stealth, Small Guns, and Lockpicking.

 

 

((I went with a little bit of a New Vegas-y thing here, because I loved the whole old west thing and it really inspired me, so... ;u; Hope you don't mind.))
