Here he was, Equinox Sin was with the two he trust the most right now. One was Seth, a part Bionic wolf and Moonlight a alicorn.Equinox was determined to kill Chrysalis that's for sure. Moonlight said she want's to be the one who kills Sombra. "I guess it's up to use three to kill Discord and The New Nightmare Moon" Equinox said to himself as he looked at the wolf and alicorn. "You both ready to continue moving? We need to get to the Crystal Empire, that is where Sombra is at" He said

Seth looked at he clan he had formed with. They weren't much , but it could at least restore some order. Who knows, they might turn out to be the future equestria's leaders. 'A wolf a ruler of he nation of equines... That will be he day.' He thought.

"Ah, but you all wound me." A dark voice from somewhere between everywhere and nowhere, sufficiently disaffected to drown and slay the helpless young in neglect. At once a growl and a dancing melody, familiar to anyone with any knowledge of pony history... The queen of Nightmare, one of the four responsible for the current state of Equestria after the death of what had once been her own sister. Theoretically still was, as Nightmare Moon's second reason for falling to darkness was far more obscure than her first jealousy induced rage.

 

She wasn't actually there with the intrepid band of adventurers, it merely seemed to be an especially potent projection of her voice that had her imperious apathy ringing in the ears of all gathered. "What ever did we do to warrant such outright hatred?" The rhetorical question hung in the air, the sword of Damocles shimmering pretty in the [insert GM's choice of time of day here along with bitch ass metaphor to describe said time of day].

"You know what you did: Equinox called out to the voice. He looked around and didnt see where the voice was coming from but from what it sounds like. "Nightmare Moon show yourself" He yelled before looking at Seth and moonlight. "As long as you two leave Chrysalis to me you can deal the final blow and fight Sombra all on your own" He said noticing the blade as he drew his katana.

"So be it." Seth growled, his eyepiece turning a shade of red. "Redemption for two nations' suffering, and I will be there to bring justice to it." The wolf lowered his fist and looked for the source of the voice. From what he could tell, there was no fixed place where the audio was emanating from, it more or less was all around them.

He looked at the moon and smirked as the katana glowed and turned to a pale white color. "You killed Celestia, you are taking over Equestria, and you shouldn't even be back Nightmare Moon" Equinox said. "Seth, Moonlight, tay on guard even though you can't see her she probably just hiding somewhere far and just throwing her voice" He said

"Oh, but I do not know." Her enthroned voice rested upon it's laurels, quiet timbre of one who knew they had it all and had no further need to know, to care. "I thank you kindly for enlightening me. Killed my sister? Oh, I swore I'd never do that again. How terrible of me." The moon glimmered dully in the smokey twilight of night, a silent witness to the misfortune that had befallen the world. "You won't find me there, little pony. The only thing left on the moon is memory, of a time long since forgotten. Once, I was merely a tragic hero. Funny how things change."

 

And there she was, no fanfare, no pomp. Simply a tall mare, rigid in stature, dominating in visage. She wore a lazy scowl, only half drawn on as if the artist that had created this twisted and beautiful creature of darkness had given up on the project halfway through. Emerald green eyes considered the small band before her with some unreadable emotion, serpentine pupils shrunken to pinpricks. "Well hello there." Her voice remained an enigma, decentralized. Nightmare's mouth didn't seem to need to move. "Wonderful evening, is it not?"

Moonlight looked at nightmare moon with a annoyed and bored expression "man your booring as hell  do something interesting then i'l fight if not go away then" she said simply as she yawned being rather bored from Nightmare Moons arrival not being impressed by her abilities yet.

"What do you want Nightmare and why are you here" He asked. "This could be a fake, not the real Nightmare moon" A voice said within Equinoxes head. "I don't care she is one of the ones who killed Celestia so she needs to die" Equinox replied to the voice before the voice spoke through him. "So why is the now new ruler of Equestria here exactly" He said pointing the katana at her.

Seth glared at the tall mare in front of him. Even at his height as a wolf, he was still out-matched by the night goddesses size. "You have wrongfully taken your sister's throne. You have no honor, so you shall die the cowered you are!" He barked, a deep growling beginning to be heard.

"Trust me...we will get revenge for Celestia...I can't believe you would turn evil again Luna...my old teacher" He said

The impersonation of Nightmare Moon stared at Sin in disgust; yet somewhere deep inside the white glow that now served as her eyes, a small glimmer of what could have possibly been pride in her student and sorrow. As she spoke, any real emotion she showed seemed to disappear. ​"What I fail to believe is that you would work against me to save this forgotten world." She looked away and slowly started to disperse into dark blue mist, leaving behind only a faint echo for the trio to hear. "If you wish to continue to stand in our way... We will crush you and your pathetic friends without mercy." 

 

The impersonation had completely vanished, but three more of her words seemed to linger within the air. "All of them~"

Muddle was trapped, apparently, even asking about her friend Equinox was enough to get her thrown in prison and sentenced to execution. Her death was slowly started to be passed around neighboring villages and towns. One of her guards said, "It would serve as a warning to those who help the sad few that dare stand against their new rulers." Surprisingly, Muddle wasn't afraid. She sat on the bed in her small cell and thought about ways to escape... Not have any of choices of value at the time.

"First we head to Canterlot, that's where Nightmare Moon is and that is al where Celestias grave is at....we need to pay respects...." Seth, after a second to let his anger lesson, turned to fallow the others as they began their walk. He kept glancing around him, always feeling as if someone was watching him. It only happened when he was in battle. But wasn't this battle? He was technically in a rebellion. This was going to be interesting.

 

"If I may ask, what is the plan? Last time I tried to dethrone Discord, it ended with... vary poor results." He said, remembering the assassination attempt.

"First off we need to get my friend Muddle because she can help us"  Equinox said. "We need to defeat Nightmare Moon before we even think of going after Discord or Chrysalis or even Sombra" He said as the name Sombra brought a pain to his sanity. "Besides...once Sombra is dead I'll be free" He muttered

"Then we march for the lunar throne!" Seth said, holding his head high with honer. "We will take back what was wrongfully hers, and return it to the ponies of Equestria. The time of the revelation is at hand, and we are the steel tip of the spearhead of it." He jeered on. Back in the wolven war, he often gave similar speeches to rouse the wolves for battle.

"On one condition...we DO NOT kill Luna...I know there is still good in her" Equinox said. "So if I know one of you killed my teacher...and the only one who stayed with me and helped me control Deranged...I will kill you myself...do you understand" Equinox said. He didn't want Luna to die, not after all she done for him

"there has to be somone planning on takeing back equestria, ill bet the student of luna's is actually gonna try to save her, sigh, i feel bad for him"  *mirrorwing looks up at the sky, remembering a pony from his past* "damn, if i could find him, we could end this mess already, until then ill settle with finding whats-his-name, equinox i think" *and he shakes the cloth off his wings and takes off flying low, searching*

Equinox (not) just happened to be wandering below Mirrowwing. He seemed to be coming from Celestia's grave with a malicious grin on his face. He seemed to be casting an odd telepathic spell, communicating with someone or something very far away...

As the days drew closer to her execution, Muddle continued to calmly look around her cell for an exit. Needless to say that there were none to be found. With a loud and depressed sigh, Muddle started to cast a spell when the guard had stopped paying attention. 

 

Even though the spell was successfully cast, it seemed to have no affect on the room or her surroundings.

Seth fallowed his allies as they walked to the prison cells. When they were stopped by the local guards dressed in black steel armor, he knelt down his head to whisper into the pony's ear. "If we are going to free your friend, I would be more than willing to hold off the guards while you find him."

Lost Flame was in the cell next to the door. She lost all hope to ever be rescued. Years has past and no one ever even looked for her. She missed everyone even her family and friends. She was in the dark and she didn't even know what was happening above in Equestria.
