Glisten thought about what Flower said about vanilla ice cream. 'Not that popular? Hmm. The mint one sounds minty. Kind of like peppermint but more mibty and less tongue burning. Made up my mind.' Glisten thought to herself. "Made up my mind about the flavor. Mint. I want mint ice cream if we find an ice cream stand." Glisten told Flower.

"Thats a good choose, now lets go and find that ice-cream stand" Flower said with confidence. "Maybe we should aske somepony for directions" Flower thought to herself. "Hey Glisten do you think we should ask somepony for directions" Flower asked looking back at her.

Dark Shine stopped, still looking into her yes with her glowing ones. "Tell them..."

 

Celestia spoke with a very monotoned voice. "I was planning on going into the dungeon, getting my guard Silver, then using my magic to call my army. Then I was going to break out, and then I was going to take over your country..."

"If we ask somepony for directions than you're the one doing the talking." Glisten said angrily. "I don't talk well with other ponies." Glisten explained softly. She looked at Flower and caught up with her. "Sorry for snapping like that." Glisten apologised to her friend.

"mmm... hi can i .... mmmm...can i come with you to get ice -cream?"a gray coat unicorn filly asked "Oh silly me i didn't introduces me self my name is Melanie. Melanie Scratch." with a closer look the unicorn  had a little pinkie bow tie a blue mane with electric blue streaks and a lack of a cutie mark.

"Oh it's ok, so where do we find a pony around this time, darn I don't think that many ponies are around at this time" Flower said still looking for the ice-cream stand. "Oh there a colt over there, would you mind waiting for a little while" Flower said making sure she can dash off for a little bit.

"well i know were the ice-cream shop is...and she is gone ok so what do we do now. oh, do you like carded games we can play a carded if you want i have a deck in my bag." the little filly reached into her bag taking out everything in it trying to find that lazy deck of cards "no that is not it on here it is"

Flower turned around and noticed the little filly. "Oh sorry I didn't realize that you were there sorry, but you said you know where the ice-cream stand is, is that right" Flower said talking to Melanie, with Glisten near by. "Oh yeah I forgot, my name is Luna Flower, but just call me Flower, and the mare beside me is Glisten Dew" Flower said.

"oh, ok follow me" the little filly gathered up her things as fast as she could. She then levitated a map from her bag and lead the way saying sorry to other ponies he bumped into as the other ponies were not as nice and kept telling to watch were she was going.

"'Mare'? I'm fourteen. Flower said my name so I don't have to repeat it to you." Glisten huffed and looked to the side. When she looked at Melanie, she saw that the golden eyes in her vision rested almost perfectly on Melanie's eyes. She ignored them for now and followed Melanie. She didn't want to say another word.

"Flower why is she being so huffy" the little filly asked with a concerned look on her face having not seen any pony like that before "i am kinda scared. oh here it is the ice-cream stand i think it is 2 bit a cone think i might have the bits for it lets see" Melanie then pulled out her change purse gritting her teeth at how light it was

"Sorry Glisten I'll try to find candy for you while we are heading for the ice-cream stand, and you wouldn't mind if she comes along would you" Flower said apoigising to Glisten in a way and trying to make her feel better. "Wait I forgot you never had candy either, have you Glisten" Flower said trying to get Glisten to talk.

No. Remember? I never had a childhood. I don't mind if she tags along. Anyway, we're here." Glisten whispered to Flower. She then kept quiet. She was never that outspoken with other ponies anyway. She blinked and found that the golden eyes moved to the just the corner of her eye. It made it better but now it's gotten her thinking that a pony is going to grab her at any moment.

"Oh yeah, sorry I keep forgetting, so Melanie and Glisten what kind of ice-cream are you going to get" Flower said even though she knew what Glisten was going to get she asked both of them anyways. "I'm thinking of getting strawberry, oh and if it would be easier, I can pay for all the ice-cream" Flower said then looked a Glisten because she was worried about her.

"Mint please." Glisten Dew said politely. She looked at Flower and then up at the salespony. "I want mint ice cream please." Glisten repeated. She tried not looking at Melanie but she couldn't get that image of the golden eyes lining up with Melanie's eyes.

"Glisten, why won't you look at Melanie, what's wrong, do you need a hug" Flower said consurned now about Glisten, and wanting to know what's wrong. "And please don't ednore me, because I do worry about you, and sorry that you have to be in the middle of this Melanie" Flower said.

"Chocolate chip please"she said fishing the bits out "thank you very much have a good day."She turned rare quickly running into Flower "Oh Flower I am so sorry how else can I be more clumsy are you ok.I am so so sorry." The little filly couldn't stop saying sorry

"Oh it's ok, just be a little more careful next time ok" Flower said with a smile but still worried about Glisten. "Ok so I'm going to pay for Glisten's mint ice-cream and my strawberry ice-cream" Flower said kind of quietly giving the bits to the cashier then handing Glisten her ice-cream. "Hopefully things will get better" Flower thought.

"Thank you." Glisten accepted the ice cream and moved a bit away from the group to sit. She sat and then started licking it. She was quite surprised at the taste. She looked up at both Melanie and Flower. She blinked a few times and found that the golden eyes were back but they only appeared on Melanie. It was strange. "Flower. Can yoi come here please?" Glisten asked her.

 

(I remember. The golden eyes are something that only she can see. They're an extra set except with only the colour of the irises.)

"What is it Glisten, what's wrong, do you need a hug" Flower asked still worried about Glisten so she walked over to her with her ice-cream still in her hoof. "So what's, why did you call me" Flower asked trying to calm down a little so she won't get Glisten Dew worried about her.

"I don't need a hug. Remember the golden eyes I keep seeing? The ones that make me think somepony is going to get me? They keep going towards Melanie and I don't know why. When I saw her eyes, both sets fit almost perfectly." Glisten said worriedly. She has no idea what it meant but she knows that it's something weird.

"Well I don't know what to do about that, even though I wish you wouldn't have to see those eye, there's nothing I can do" Flower said wanting to help Glisten, but knows that she can't do anything at all. "So is there a way for me to make you feel any better" Flower asked still worried about her.

Glisten just shook her head. "I know that you're not like this but the last time I accepted help, they burned me where my cutie marks are meant to appear." Glisten muttered. She licked her ice cream and smiled at the taste. "The ice cream tasyes good though." Glisten said happily.
