"Why are you even going to the lyoko anyway? There no tower activated so what's the point, I'm more of your enemy and you seem to forgot about the energy source i have"

 

Codely tuned to face Minx and Dex

 

"Tell me. Did Genesis ever tell you about the time she had when i kidnapped her? the fact that she saw the XANA super computer what is like XANA life support so even if you shut down the computer, XANA still lives!! meaning i do too. Did she also tell you about the monster i made to guard the XANA super computer? I'll give you a secret because this should make you more stressed and worried about XANA. Genesis only saw one of the XANA super computers and the monster guarding that XANA super computer, there about a XANA super computer for each sector with a different type of monster guarding them but there so well hidden that you will never mind them!!"

Katie walked to the factory, slightly flustered at the boys words. But she made it to the factory in no time at all. The system allowed her in and she walked to Jeremy, "Hey dude, can I talk to you about something important?" She asked. @,

 

 

Ben was now absorbed in a notebook he had pulled from his bag, he was writing down every little fact and detail he could, hoping that Codely wouldn't turn to him and play his mind games. He took a breath, and jut kept writing. @,

Genesis said nothing. She would be lying if she said she didn't imagine half those things but to say it now would be crazy. Codely was crazy, this whole thing was. Genesis nodded absentmindedly when Dex stood next to her. He had said something; she didn't catch it.

 

She looked back quickly at Minx with mixed emotions then snapped back to Codely. "I don't care much for what you think you know about me but I don't go through lackeys to get what I want."

Whisper stood with Minx. She was trying to keep her as calm as possible with Codely around but she knew she wouldn't be much help id Hellinx showed up. She caught the face Genesis made; and it made her uneasy. She had seen that face in kids many times, when they had to do something wrong to get something. They never liked it. They just did it. 

 

Hellinx had popped up and Whisper quickly created some distance.

"Hiya Codely. How are ya? There's a super computer for each sector. So what? Do I LOOK LIKE I CARE!?" Hellinx growled the last few words as she walked up to Codely. Her hands sparked with electricity and she glared menacingly at Codely.

"What do you have to tell me?" Jeremy asked Katie. He turned around in the chair and looked at her.

Katie gave Jeremy a worried glance, she tried to keep the fear out of her tone "Well, I need you ask you to launch a return to the past, just back maybe an hour and a half ago. Codely is out of the computer."

 

Jeremy looked at Katie in confusion. "What? How can Codely be out of the computer? He's just ..." Jeremy trailed off as he looked at the cameras. He had set up a camera not too long ago in the scanner room. "It appears that Codely is out of the computer." Jeremy said in disbelief.

 

"Ya, ya, I've noticed, he can teleport, we're on a timer, go!" She dragged the older boy over past the snack tables and party decor, to the computer, "Kid's gonna blow up the world, you can stop him. RTP N-O-W!"

 

"Okay, okay. I'm going!" Jeremy said hurriedly. He got the computer and quickly launched a tracker system just as Codely activated the scanner. "Now we got something." Jeremy muttered. Storing type information away he activated a return to the past. "Return to the past now. Jeremy said. He had set the RttP to send them back to about an hour and a half ago.

 

Katie was suddenly sitting at the breakfast table in the school, she gasped, "Minx, Whisper, Genesis, we launched an RTP let's get to the nurses and get the source, quick!" Katie sprung up urged the others to follow as she ran from the halls. She got to the office.

 

“Hold him down!” She yelled pointing at shadow, she let the others do their work as she dived for the pack and took the power source.

 

Genesis had no problem keeping this scrawny kid pinned down to the cot. She sneered down at him and kept her hand on his chest.

 

Whisper dizzily followed along, having not gotten used to the re-rush of old memories colliding with the new ones. She let Genesis handle the dirty work along with Minx and followed Katie instead.

 

In seconds Katie and Whisper were out of the room and had the thing hidden where Codely would never find.

Shadow shouted at Katie "Hey give that back!! Thats not yours and you don't know what i went through to get that thing!!"

 

Shadow tried to get up but Genesis was holding him down

 

"Can you let go of me please? What have i done wrong? I hurt my leg and then i get robbed!"

Genesis shoved herself away from Shadow, picking him up by his shirt and sitting him up. "Wait, you don't remember a bloody thing? All that just happened?". She cracked her fingers and huffed "How much would it cost to replace the goods then?" she looked at Shadow seriously.

Shadow looked at Genesis with confusion

 

"You are joking right? You can't replace that energy source!! It was found in a Meteor, you don't find them in the shops for $1 and i went through a lot to get that so give it back!"

"Thank gods." Katie breathed, "can we get out of here now? The teacher will yell at us if we don't." She said to Whisper, looking around the room. @@RunsWithSquirlz,

 

 

Ben was bewildered, "OK, I want to know, what are you guys up to?!?!" He restrained himself from yelling but he was still clearly annoyed, "You don't have to tel me everything, just what I need to know, K? I mean really, I can cover for you and watch your..." He was at lost for words, spluttering, "Suspicious persons," He decided, "But at least tell me what I'm doing it for!"@@RunsWithSquirlz,@,@,

"Sorry Benny. No can do." Devilinx said. She didn't know how much to tell him so she didn't say anything else.

 

She wasn't able to take much more o this so Angelinx walked out of the room and slid down the wall. "Don't freak out, don't freak out." Angelinx muttered to herself.

"No can do?!?!" He yelled, following Minx, than he realized that her personality had switched and he slid down the wall next to her, feeling drained, "sorry...Angelinx, I didn't mean to yell. This is just, weird, and I can't be in the loop which it infuriating, and..." He sighed, "I didn't hurt your feelings did I? Are you OK?" He wrapped her in a hug. @,

"It's not your fault." Angelinx said softly. She kept herself from hugging him. "It's Hellinx's fault. She forced me to do some things I'm not proud of and it's all just crashing down on me now." Angelinx continued. She finally gave into the urge an hugged hin back.

Whisper was busily talking the nurses ear off whilst in her office to bide time and make sure her friends got away scott-free. (scotch-free? wtf is the saying????)

"I wasn't going to sell it, I got tons of money to break into the base it was being hold in and steal it but i would of stole the rest of them but i got caught so i was only able to get one and then i was running away from the police... more the SWAT team and then i hid in this school. I was meant to give it to my friend Codely so if you don't mind giving it back!"

Ben frowned and snuggled her back a bit, "Would it be to much to ask you what happened? You don't have to tell me, even if it's not part of...whatever is happening. But if you ever need a hug, I'm here" He said sincerely. @, 

 

Katie got back to the inferiority and saw Benny and Minx, probably Angelinx from the way her posture was, she gave a wave  and mouthed 'sorry Ben' referring to the crazy situation, then she marched over to Shadow and said professionally, "Listen, you are in very deep trouble,that thing you had was very powerful, a boy named Codely was planning to use it to literally put a hole on the map where France used to be. I had to stop it before things got worse." She told him, hoping that he would understand.

The turning to Shadow "Don't you amateurs ever quit playin' around and think about the consequences? Bullocks." Genesis crossed her arms.

The second Shadow said that, Codely appeared in front of him and grabbed him by the neck and carried him outside and pushed him against a tree while still holding him up by his next.

 

"I gave you one job!! One Job and that was the keep that Energy source save from those kids in there but you couldn't even do that!"

Katie scowled, "Well it's kinda hard to think long term consequences when you're doing down to the last second universe saving. We stopped the bad guy for the time being, and we have to deal with things after, at least we're alive. "

Angelinx gave a small smile. "Thanks for that. Sorry I can'ylt tell you. I just don't want to think about it." Angelinx told Ben. She disentangled herself and leaned baxk agaonst the wall. She pulled her knees up to her chest and buried her head in her knees. "It's too much to think about." Angelinx muttered.

"Your return to the past program only works on people who haven't been to the lyoko... remember. So i remember everything so give me the energy source and i won't hurt any of you"

 

Shadow got out his pocket an other jar with this time a blue glow coming out of it. Shadow said to Codely

 

"Here, take this one... I lied to them because they only thought i had one. Codely examined the new energy source. "This hasn't got enough power to do what i want it to do but i've got an other use for it... Thanks Shadow"

 

Codely turned into black mist and travelled to the factory while Shadow ran off

"So," Katie said, "Give me the thingy or I'll kill you huh?" She rolled her eyes "Does that stupid butt think we will give it to him, we know what he's going to do with it. I like living thank you very much." She turned to Genesis, "A couple days of shut down might be our best option, unless there is anyone we can trust this thing with. Wait a sec. I know who we can give it to." She looked around the group, having to say the name of the person without nearby Shadow recognizing it, "We can give it to, the IT guys" She winked, referring to Jeremy, "girlfriend." She hoped the others would get it, Aelita. "What do you guys think?"

Genesis was lost but she shrugged and nodded. True, the devil on her shoulder told her to keep the damn thing for herself but she didn't know what it was and who to sell it to anyway.

 

"Next time I'm in that damn place I'm going to pound that guy until his pixels are pixels." Genesis snarled back at Codely. Turning back to the others "Yeah, give it to the girlie or whatever, just not here."

Whisper now came out of the office was quickly de-briefed by Genesis. She took in a big breath and once again texted everything to a probably worried Rush. She kneeled down on the other side of Angelinx "It's going to be okay...are you still upset about lying?".

 

Looking up at Katie she asked "We can't just give it back? What if it's radioactive?"

Angelinx just nodded. She didn't trust herself to speak. She looked at the opposite wall and felt herself become detached a little bit. 'Lyong is more of a Devilinx thing to.do. I never lie. I always tell the truth ...' Angelinx thought to herself. She felt tears slid down her facr but she did nothing to stop them.

Katie took a breath and thought about Whispers question, "If we gave it back it would shut us down via the cops. Besides loosing our own fun in Lyoko, it would also put us in more danger. If there was an attack, we would be stuck at the school, or maybe even at our homes if they shut the place down completely. We can't give it up."

 

Ben's eyes were wide, should he be covering his ears or taking notes?
