I swear the ambient noise of the washing machine going on after finishing housework and it's all calm and pleasant now is strangely cathartic to me. Makes the environment feel peaceful, especially knowing everything is in order...

Always satisfying to know chores are done for the day, and then we have a moment to think to ourselves what we'd like to do for the remainder before bed, IMO.

I would very much appreciate it if machine learning generated images did not appear when I searched for images on search engines.

When it came to the first impression, I thought 'Wow, AI art is so amazing! I can use it as a stable source to learn draw art!':Pip-giggle:

Until I copy them for practice, lots of structural and detail mistakes were found:zipp-wut:

My opinion: Never use pure AI works to learn to draw, unless it were examined and adjusted by dependable artist(s):rddetermined:

I find it frustrating when people dismiss constructive criticism away as "nostalgia goggles" or any other similar reason.

I have seen screenshots and playthroughs of the Oblivion remaster and I find it uncanny in a bad way... I don't like how they made faces look photorealistic and the talking animations make it feel more off. It feels like they're trying to cater to a wider audience by adhering to the modern trend of making everything look as photorealistic as possible, and the only result is that every game looks the goddamn same. It becomes generic when the art style of every franchise is "extreme photorealism". Good art styles are timeless - Borderlands is a great example of a series that will always look timeless because of its style no matter how much it ages and it doesn't have to be some picture perfect photorealistic game to be incredibly accomplished in the art department...

And then you get people offended that you're "just being a hater" for not uncritically singing the praises of something like, "you just expect to be a child playing Oblivion for the first time!"

I don't, and actually a couple years ago I did a decently long run on Oblivion again and loved it just the same as I did when I first played it - "expecting to feel like I'm playing Oblivion for the first time" isn't the issue here... I still adore the original Oblivion and find its campiness and awkward art to be part of the charm, it gives it a unique character!

Idk, it really gripes me when people dismiss any form of critique of something or imply you're not reaaaally a fan of something if you don't sing its praises on every level. It's BECAUSE I am a big fan of things and know people can do better that I state these opinions!! I wouldn't be wasting my breath if I didn't care a lot about things having the potential to be better!!

I've lost respect for Bethesda anyway since they first tried to introduce paid mods and they know they can get away with being sleazebags because people will just uncritically consume anything. Bleh.

Given I'm closing shift at work and a opening one,  hoping that I can hide the bodies given well:

  • 1.  Not a morning person
  • 2. We a having with our bosses to talk about how we feel about our store and etc and what they can do to make it better......
  • 3.  If I say what I want,  I will lose my job....:umad:

I am thinking of combining purple and green LED strips for my ornaments I plan to collect. The purple LED strip will pair well with the plasma ball thing I want to place on the shelf.

That way, when I get the Queen Chrysalis figurine, it will make it look like the green goop she traps her victims in is giving off mystical energy of its own. Optical illusions and all that are fun.

Perhaps I'll provide a photo of it all when it is done in October, when I start using my Raspberry Pi 5 setup for using MLP forums.

I love fantasy elements that involve magic, and My Little Pony is no exception.

Hate doing dishes. But gotta get off my rump and do them.

Takes a lot of character to do something you are not in the mood to do but must get out of the way. It is going to feel SOOO good once you do!

As for myself... I am thinking that life is such an interesting thing. Listening to so many people's stories and lives is endlessly fascinating.

Hope this training doesn't actually take a full hour... been here long enough already and I don't take to being stuck in the morning rush too. ed95u7i.png

I found out through Northernlion that there’s a subreddit dedicated to soda/pop. The vibes in that subreddit are top tier, it’s just people posting photos of cans of pop and talking about rather they like certain ones or not. No drama, no bs, no gatekeeping, just soda discussion. That’s the kinda stuff the internet was made for.

Whoa that sounds pretty fun! I am reminded of @Interstellar Sketchrecently showing my the variety of sodas like butter soda, dirt soda, grass soda and other absurd flavors as such, I wonder if that group would know about it. ^_^ Now I am thinking about this.

"The way I see it, if an enemy knows your name, they already know too much."

I am thinking of giving that script to Hasbro's fictional character Twilight Sparkle, in my fan fiction.

My OC would not be brainy enough to come up with such a thing anyway, not with past life memories being erased and all.

This takes place in an event where Twilight warns my OC to never go near Chrysalis.
