Adachi 772 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 If anyone said I would lose my man card, I would point them straight to the knights code for an example on how to be a real man. 1 “I am quite sure now that often, very often, in matters concerning religion and politics a man’s reasoning powers are not above the monkey’s.” — Mark Twain

Swoony 196 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 (edited) Losing your mancard for liking a show out of your demographic? Granted i'm a female, but it's 2014 and people should be able to watch whatever they want without being judged or considered weird for it. Virgil 685 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 My definition of a "Man Card" : An item that exists in the minds of individuals who's ideal of Masculinity (which is largely the result of corporate marketing campaigns) is someone who sits all day in an easy chair drinking light beer and watches oiled up dudes in their boxers on TV "fight" badly. If anyone said I would lose my man card, I would point them straight to the knights code for an example on how to be a real man. Indeed. Also, in heraldry a Unicorn represents "Extreme Courage; virtue and strength"; and a Pegasus or regular horse are also rather nice to have on one's coat of arms. So can someone explain why Bronies are the ones who's Masculinity is called into question? :comeatus: 2 I know there's a place you walkedWhere love falls from the treesMy heart is like a broken cupI only feel right on my knees.I spit out like a sewer holeYet still receive your kissHow can I measure up to anyone nowAfter such a love as this? Mars Caramel 319 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 I would tear up my man card, shove the pieces down their throat, and burn their feces. Of course, I would hope they would be alive after the process.
Star-Gazer 202 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 If watching a show makes you insecure about your masculinity, then you didn't have a man card to begin with. Look out, everypony! Shots fired! Scootalove 10,689 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 I don't care if I'm being judged for liking a show that has colorful ponies in it, I have the right to watch what I want. Take the man card, I've outgrown it. 1 Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
Nameless Knight 1,001 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 I say "I guess I an't a man anymore....." and walk away with a smirk on my face 1 "I had a name... forgot it many, centuries ago. It faded away like many things, but me. I'm still here, still here trying to find something. What is that something? I don't know, I forgot." -The Nameless Knight
