gaming Did ANYPONY else like Homefront?

Homefront was an ingeniously crafted game by THQ. (That's rather rare...)

 

I thought so at least. Most people suggest it's a waste of the time you spent to even buy the game.

 

I never regretted it. It's campaign, although short, was fairly good, it has some of the best presentation that the FPS genre has to offer, and it's multiplayer is decent, but feels a bit too familiar... *hm hm* COD *hm hm*, but better balanced and a few limitations to it's gameplay, such as the lack of a shotgun until DLC, and no battle rifles. (not Halo-like, that's a misclassification.)

 

Did anypony else see this in the game? Also, who else here absolutely can't wait for Homefront 2?!? (It's coming, it's by Crytek UK, and I bet they can improve the formula and possibly make it my alternate competitive online FPS of choice.(Everypony should be able to figure out number 1 .))

If I known the campaign was so freaking short, I would have have rented it rather than spend $60 on something I thought was the next Call of Duty or Battlefield.

I liked he concept of it..the beginning video was very dark and with Kim Jong il actually dying it could have been a real event..not to mention the urban feel to it was great.

I liked it. The campaign was short but I played it on the hardest difficulty and it was a fun challenge. The multiplayer was decent but could use a lot of work. I'm looking forward to Homefront 2.

I have the game on Steam but whenever I try to play it and it always crashes
