As silly as it sounds, I truly wish there was a game like Sword Art Online... When the Oculus Rift had been created, I really thought we were stepping in the right direction, but with how they simply sold it to Facebook... No longer know what to expect or hope for...

 

Thoughts anyone?

I'm hoping that they can handle it the right way without messing up, so I don't know what to expect at all either.

Don't despair, all is not lost. While facebook's acquisition makes the oculus rift's future seem bleak, that doesn't speak for the future of all VR. Oculus isn't the only company working on this sort of technology, others will rise and fall now that it's been shown that the market is willing to buy into this sort of device.

 

A VRMMO would be interesting, but a bit scary... I wouldn't play it for fear of becoming addicted. WoW was bad enough, but imagine a world that does everything it can to immerse you in the game.
