What if the elements of harmony are in the box.

I was just reading a story for someone else who made a thread and it was talking about the elements of harmony at one point, and it gave me an idea, what if there are elements of harmony in the box. What if there were two sets of elements and the second is in that box, or if the tree had made another set and put them in that box to protect them until the keys are obtained.

And then if the keys are all those rainbow items, maybe they have to put them in a circle around the box and cast a spell to merge the items into the box and unlock it or something.

Just a theory.

the first six are in the tree, you know during that tentacle episode, so they cant use them ones. What if in the season finale they open the box, find the elements, and uses them against that villain discord is hunting.

Discord is already good. How could you know if he is going to do something chaotic? Plus the Princesses now can stop him by their spells and without the help of "contents" in the box

Oops. That explains the Synopsis. Wait..... the synopsis. Maybe that is Twilight's villain originally but princess Celestia sent Discord to do it instead.

The theory I've repeated a few times is that the box is to put things *into*.

It just seems to me that too much emphasis is put on it for it to just be another Elements-style superweapon. After all, the only time they used the elements was during boss fights. ie. the first and last episodes of the season. What would be the point of taking them away, then giving them back? Or something equivalent?

I feel really very certain that it's not going to be as simple as: do quest, open box, get treasure. And if it is, the "treasure" will not do what the elements did. If it did, it'd be pretty darn silly.

I think we're done with the elements of harmony, unfortunately. Things change, though. I wish I could find a way to get seasons 1 & 2...I really loved those seasons  

I miss them. The show was so pure, but, you know, gotta roll with the times.

If that were a possibility, then I don't think there'd be any additional Elements, but rather some kind of advanced version of the preexisting Elements. I.e.--

 

 

The SUPER Elements of Harmony!

 

 

...Hey, I've heard worse ideas. If it worked in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, where the Chaos Emeralds were given up to obtain the power of the Super Emeralds, then it could happen.

They sacrifice the Elements only to get them back (& then some)? That sounds rather pointless.

 

We've known what's in the box ever since Rainbow Powers were unveiled.

Yeah, it'd be a bit of a waste of time if they open the box and the elements of harmony popped out. We spent a whole season getting keys just to get what we already had?

That would be the dumbest twist ever.  No.  It does not contain the Elements or Harmony.  They gave up the elements and what is in the box is something different.  Probably retaining to Rainbow Power.
