Yes.......they were around since the 1920's, but under a different name.   They changed to Hasbro in the 1960's, if im not mistake.

Yes, I knew, very surprised that people would not have known before Friendship is Magic. I knew not just because of Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Beyblade, but because I browsed toy stores when I was younger and saw their logo on other products.
