"It was an accident, and why are you holding the door for me?" Gentle Secret questioned as she walked to the main hallway of the theatre that was suspiciously vacant. What was the purpose of holding the door for another being? And why was there no other pony in this busy hallway?

"Keep silent lads, unknown organism," a stallion in a black suit spoke as they went into the alleyway. They carried all sorts of tools.

@@Demirari,

"Oh, usually ponies hold doors for each other as a sign of respect or just to be nice." He said, smiling. "You know, just so they don't have to do it themselves. Now, where is everypony? It's not that late..." Midnight asked. "Well, that's... odd." He started to walk down the hall. "Onwards, then?"

"I suppose," Gentle Secret replied as she moved forward first. It couldn't be closing time due to the transparent material that stated it'll close around five hours more than the current time. Moving forward, her TACPAD pinged of ponies outside the theater. Tapping on her TACPAD, she noted of an unusual murder situation outside of the theater and near it.

@@Demirari,

Midnight looked over Secret's shoulder at the TACPAD. "Oh, a murder scene? We should go investi- wait, no, no. It's a murder scene. That's not smart." He continued looking at the device. "Oooo, that's graphic! Why would a pony do that?! Hmmm... CAN a pony actually do that?" He questioned.

"It could be possible, however, it could be a different being or a…" she stopped after that before tapping into her TACPAD to link a route. Then she finally spoke after a while of silence, "best if we leave or investigate." She turned to Midnight, looking indifferent, she waited for his choice.

The agents huddled together after wasting four magazine worth of ammunition. Through sheer luck they somehow had managed to land a SINGLE hit on the beast. The captain, Captain Iron had to appreciate the merits of being whatever the creature was.

@@Demirari,

"Leeeeettttt's..." Midnight paused, deciding on an answer. "How about... investigation. I'm not really in the mood to head back to the lab yet." He started to move forward. "C'mon! Adventure, murder, and death possibly await us!" Midnight said, charging. "For the empi- umm... errr... sorry."

Amused by her colleague's behavior, she nodded before taking the lead. While she trusted her colleague to not do anything stupid, he lacked experience. Unlike the ex-colleagues and their experiences. There was a reason why her department never got anything done, if ever. It was a department for the minds that snapped, though her colleague seemed to be different… green.

The small group of agents huddled in a corner before a shot was fire. Another screech. This was good, the creature was getting tired. If they keep this up, a good clear shot should be enough.

@@Demirari,

"So, uhhhh... what if, like, a hungry alien monster broke loose and ate said pony and now there are a bunch of Secret Service agents fighting it? Is that really safe?" Midnight clearly was concerned for several reasons, one of which was the clear fact that he heard rapid gunshots and screeching outside.

"I'll deal with it," Gentle Secret replied, reassuring Midnight as she rushed outside. The last feature to disappear was her tail. Then there were even more gunshots. This was all standard to Gentle Secret as she watched. Her eyes quickly following the creature before slamming it down with a hunting spear she "borrowed" from one of the agents. Easy enough to her as she watched the creature screech in pain.

@@Demirari,

Midnight ran up behind her and attempted to levitate the creature out from the spear, which was unfortunately, for the creature, stuck in the ground. "Wait, wait!" He said, straining. "Don't kill it! Don't you want to look at it a bit, first?!" He screamed. Midnight looked down at the spear, noticing it was literally stuck in the ground with the creature impaled on it. "Wow... ummm..." He patted what he though was the little creature's head. "Sorry, buddy."

"Don't feel sorry," Gentle Secret muttered as she hefted the spear again, this time throwing it again at a similar creature running behind Midnight. Piercing it with ease, she examined it to confirm it was still alive. Turning to the agents, she nodded her head. To be honest, in her mind, she had missed it and accidentally killed a specimen.

"Dr. Secret," Captain Iron nodded in respect as he examined the struggling 2nd beast. Clearing his throat, he continued, "we'll be taking this back to the building."

@@Demirari,

Midnight, rather surprised by Secret's brave but sudden acts of violence, was pretty shaken. "Whoa. Poor thing. I wonder if they have frie-" And just like that, if on cue, a third creature jumped down into the alley way onto an agent and tried to chew off one of his hooves. Midnight, however, with his quick thinking, mastery of magic, and pure awesomeness (best kill evah!) shot a paralyzing beam at the thing, which hit it head on and knocked it off the agent, made it so the poor creature couldn't do so much as blink. "Man, I think my way is much more cruel..." Midnight remarked, poking the thing with his front left hoof.

"Enough with the poking," Captain Iron replied as the others captured an injured creature and another one shocked. A thank was all that Midnight got as Gentle Secret approved of her colleague's action.

Nodding her head, Gentle Secret asked a simple question, "What is next?" She simply disregarded the piles of bodies in the alleyway; her emotions for such things long since died.

@@Demirari,

"Well..." Midnight glanced at the dead mare in the alley. "I need a drink. There's a bar a few blocks away from here. Will you join me?" He asked, looking at the map. He pointed to an icon marked by a bottle. "Yep, that's it. Shall we, Ms. Secret?" Midnight said, taking her hoof. He was clearly trying to take his mind off the disgusting corpse in the alley. "Like, now?"

Nodding her head, Gentle Secret gave her confirmation, "It may be wise." Such things would probably horrified many. She was certainly not ignorant in this. Despite this, Midnight's reactions so far had been better than some of her ex-colleagues and their first view of such madness. Such reactions would usually include vomiting, crying, and exclusion of social contact for some time. It, in the mind of Gentle Secret, that she approved of Midnight's current mental state.

Knowing the usual state of a pony who saw horror, Gentle Secret stepped in front of Midnight, glaring at the stallion. Then she spoke, making sure to lace her voice threateningly, "I suggest you turn around and run." She had handled far more horrifying things than a random stallion.

"Oh, you're so weak your MAREFRIEND has to defend you!!!" The stallion remarked. After hearing this, Midnight's face turned bright red. Pushing Gentle Secret out of the way, he stared at the stallion for a moment before summoning a magical bat. "Yes, I highly suggest you run." The stallion laughed at the sight of the bat. "What are ya gonna do, sprinkle magic dust on my-" Midnight began to beat the living shit out of the stallion with the bat. "I guess you could say that."

"So this is it?" A mysterious earth pony spoke as he examined the two struggling rippers as the agents behind him nodded their heads. It was most certainly interesting as the earth pony finally stood up after crouching to get a better look of the creatures. Nodding his head, he departed from the two cages and the agents, before exiting the room, he spoke in a low volume, "Please assign these creatures to the lower lab, I trust Dr. Secret would be... 'overjoyed' to study these."

Watching the brutal violence besieging her eyesight, she placed a hoof on Midnight, "Please stop." Anymore and the stallion would surely end up in a hospital for a couple of days.

"Bad day," Gentle Secret only spoke before looking around, "are we going to proceed to the bar?" It was highly strange to Gentle Secret that Midnight was very open to violence despite seeing the scene a few minutes ago. Very strange to her most would avoid a confrontation than join or even create one as seen in this case.

Without delay, Gentle Secret entered the bar and was quite frankly, surprised. Not letting that show on her facial structure, she noted where the bartender was and the seemingly randomly placed tables and seats. A small television set not far off attracting attention from other ponies who were drunk. And it was loud.

@@Demirari,

Midnight cringed as he walked over to the bar with the television blasting in his ear. He was about to ask the bartender to turn it down, but, noticing all of the drunk ponies were focusing on that, he decided to summon a magical pair of pony earplugs and put them in his ears. "Secret, do you want some of these?" He shouted.

"That would be appreciated," Gentle Secret replied with the same volume, nodding her head gratefully as she donned on the pair of earplugs. Nodding her head with the sudden dimming of sound, she walked toward the bartender before taking a seat. Scanning through the selection of beverages, she waited for her colleague.
