I reccomend that you get a little bit more... descriptive then that, take some examples from the other character forms maybe.

I say that sentries go something like this:

 

Lvl 1: 50% chance of hitting (roll a die or something and if the number is under half, it hits)

 

Lvl 2: 75% chance of hitting (3/4 or below of the highest number you can roll)

 

Lvl 3: 90% chance of hitting (9/10 or below of the highest number you can roll)

Rockets: 50% chance of hitting. If it isn't a direct hit, the closer it is to 50% the more splash damage or something.

 

You know, just a really really really rough idea.

The one thing I've just realised that hasn't been addressed is how to determine long distance attacks, like sniper's rifle shots (and jarate for that matter), soldier's rockets and pyro's flare gun. Any ideas?

I still think that a Steam group would be a cool idea for little get-togethers.

And fire damage might be hard to figure out.

What if fire is weak on contact but does a percentage of damage before they are healed by a medic?

And that's another good point. Fire damage... Hmm... And jarate mini-crits too! They could both be quite hard to recreate...

Guys, I honestly wasn't planning for anything this detailed. It won't be purely set during matches, a lot of it will be during half time and stuff like that. All this damage calculations and dice rolls just feels kinda unnecessary

We don 't need it, as long as there are no god modders trying to one hit everyone.

That sounds fair! And no invinci player either! As long as we all RP fairly, we'll probably be fine!

Im kinda new to this, how do you "mention" people/ponies?

You type in this:

[ member = ' name of player ' ]

 

You don't put any spaces in between the words or symbols though. I just did that so that I could show you properly, without it actually creating a mention
