Old style, new style.

So after doing my ponysona my little brother wanted me to redraw his ponysona which I drew last year. Needless to say I laughed so hard when I saw the old drawing. It's crazy to see how much has changed in a year.

to each their own.

 

But fluffy cute ponies are best ponies.

 

All in all though, I do pony drawings in other styles occasionally. Fluffy cuteness can only look good in so many pictures. As of right now I'm doing a drawing that is rather different than the style depicted in the second picture.

And as for the hooves, well my brother asked me to make the hooves have smoke coming off of them. I'm not really sure why though, he never bothered to tell me why he wanted it like that

*cough cough* no way, short and fat is where it's at. *cough cough*

 

Im actually trying to find a new style since I've grown a little bored of my usual one. Although experimenting to find the right one is being quite a challenge

 

I'm sure I'll find a new style soon. All in good time i hope.

I always enjoy seeing such progressive comparisons between 'then' and 'now,' and I must say that you have improved considerably in a year.  The level of detail you've added over time is quite apparent and adds that much more dimension to the characters, as well as you coloring skills are well displayed.  Nicely done and I am excited to see what you have in store in the future.
