Amd's APU are SHIT!  The only way they can be beneficial is because they share the same bus as the cpu, but they are usually meant only for low-end affordable systems.  I don't think that the Xbone uses an APU though.

Well, the Xbox One (and PS4)'s CPU and GPU both share the same die, and both share the same RAM and system bus. What is an APU besides a processor with the CPU and GPU on the same die and both share the same RAM and system bus?

 

They're great for if you're on a budget but still want okay graphics performance, but if you really want good performance... get an FX-series processor or a Core i5.
