private When in Manehattan RP

Raze was at Ponyville station, already boarding the train to Manehattan. He found a seat, and put his bags and acoustic guitar next to the window, staring silently at the view outside. He'd never been to Manehattan before, so he didn't know what to expect there.

 

After a minute or so, the train intercom spoke up. "The next stop will be Canterlot"

 

He laid his head against the back of the seat. This is going to be a long train ride... he thought to himself.

Shooting smiled. I'm going to Manehattan! I wonder what it will be like! Magical? Wonderous? Amazing? What if they're mean? She thought, her stomach in knots.

 

Shooting grabbed her bags and boarded the train. Her smile became a bigger smile. She sat in a seat an got her sketch pad out.

 

Shooting began drawing a smiling pony. At the bottom of the paper she wrote, 'Things happen that you don't expect.'

Wow, Sugar Cane thought. I can't believe I'm going to Manehatten, whispering to herself.

 

Sugar got her bags and got on the train. *gets coloring book*

I love coloring, thought Sugar. But I love going to Manehatten more.

 

 

The train started and drove off to Manehatten.

Raze saw more people coming in on the train, and saw that the place he was sitting in, was becoming a bit crowded. He decided to move. Searching for a good spot, he saw a mare with purple hair sitting by herself. He slowly approached her.

 

"Excuse me," he said to her. "Mind if I sit here?"

"Not like I had anypony sitting here anyways. So go ahead." Shooting said quietly an looking at the ground.

 

"Where you off to?" Shooting asked, starting to make eye contact. She put her drawing away. I wonder if he's going to Manehattan like me? Shooting thought. Her smile faded into a casual look.

Raze carefully set his bags and his guitar down somewhere safe, then carefully sat down. "Manehattan," he said simply. "I, uh, won some contest or something, and the prize was a week's stay in the city in some fancy hotel, and a bunch of other complimentary stuff. I needed a vacation anways..." he stared at the other passengers, some of which were smiling or admiring the view outside.

 

The train intercom spoke up once again. "Now arriving at Canterlot Station."

Shooting watched as the stallion put his bags down. "That's so ironic. I won a contest with almost everything supplied too." She said.

 

His name, what's his name. Something in her head told her. "So, what's your name? I'm Shooting." Shooting said a bit quietly.

Creamy thought to herself, I wish I could go talk to them but I'm shy. Okay, I'm going for it.

 

The unicorn tapped on Raze's mane and speaks up, "Um, hi. I'm Creamy, what's your name?".

She felt shy, but at the same time, felt really good for facing shyness.

Raze looked at her and smiled slightly. "Raze," he said. "Nice to meet you Shooting." He exhaled slowly. "So, you're in the same boat as me, huh? Interesting..."

 

I wonder how many other people on this train are here for the same reason, he thought to himself, while looking around.

 

He then felt a tap on his mane, and looked up to see a gray unicorn with a multicolored mane standing in front of him. She said her name was Creamy.

 

"Hey, my name is Raze, nice to meet you," he said with a smile, holding a hoof out to her.

"Well, seems like a long ride until Manehattan, Raze." Shooting said.

 

She looked at the new face. "Um. Hi. I-I'm Shooting." Shooting introduced quietly, looking for anything to distract herself. I don't like how many ponies are around me right now... I can wait. She thought, tapping the ground quietly.

Hope sighed as the train pulled into canterlot station and dragged a hoof over his face, he really need this vacation after that last mission, he shuddered as he thought about one of the rooms his team had went in... Hope shook his head trying to forget the memory, and walked up to the train and boarded, he then walked over to a seat and sat down and placed his bags in the seat next to him, he looked across to the seats next to his and smiled, there was a group of three ponies chatting and getting to know each other, this was why he joined to army, to protect ponies like them.

Raze saw how crowded it was getting, which was exactly what he trying to avoid when he moved here in the first place.

 

"Uh, if you'll excuse me," he said while getting his things and standing up. "There someplace I need to get to. Well, it was nice meeting you both."

 

He then went over to an empty train car, and sat down in the farthest seat possible.

 

Alright... he looked at his guitar, then looked around. Guess I could play it for a few minutes.

 

He took it out of the case, then tuned it up.

 

Now, what song should I... ah, I got it. 

 

He reached into his bags, then pulled out a harmonica, and attached it to a metal neck holder. He put it around his neck, along with slinging the guitar, and began to play.

Creamy sighed at the thought of talking to Raze, but then realized there were two other ponies to talk to.

 

The grey unicorn had to choose who to talk to. She chose Shooting. Besides, she felt more comfortable talking to a mare rather then a stallion.

 

Creamy spoke up to Shooting, "Um, hello. I heard you introduce yourself. Well, nice to meet you. And I thought you sounded a little shy. Are you nervous to go to Manehatten? I am too, so don't worry. Oh, I forgot to say my name. It's Creamy Symphony. I'm going to Manehatten to be a designer for Sapphire Shores. And you?". The unicorn was surprised at how long she was talking.

 

She felt embarrassed about the thought of talking too much.

She decided to apologize, "Sorry for talking too much. I just get into the habit of it."

VROOOM!! 

 

An orange Saleen S7 roared toward Manehattan. "Oh Manehattan...you never get old." Nitro said to himself as he continued to drive. He had his rock music blasting with with windows down as his V8 engine continued to roar loudly. He was about 5 miles from Manehattan.

"I'm going to Manehattan, I don't do the best in small groups, let alone huge ones-" Shooting stopped herself.

 

Why am I telling her this? I'm an idiot.

 

"Wait, Sapphire Shores? Why?" Shooting asked suspiciously. She's lying! It can't be Sapphire Shores she's visiting. She thought.

Spacer had boarded the train so early that she was sleeping in a seat as the others boarding. She positioned herself so that her head was tilted back and her mouth was open snoring once in a great while. She had a couple saddlebags for her belongings and anything souvenirs she came across on her trip. Before the trip she was all excited and couldn't wait to start her journey.

 

Spacer had her headphones on her head playing music keeping her from hearing the other passengers. She didn't really think there would be a lot of other ponies coming along especially Pegasi. She was taking the train and she was a pegasus.....she definitely felt lazy.

As Nitro drove though the roads, he saw a train. He was driving right beside it with his music blasting. He let out a roar from his engine as he continued to drive next to the train. He then looked and saw a blue mare sleeping. He blushed lightly. "Well she's pretty beautiful." Nitro stated.

Hope looked out the window and spotted a orange saleen S7 driving on a road next to the train and smiled, it was a very nice car that's for sure, but it would never be good enough to replace his shelby GT500 Super Snake, not to say he wouldn't mind taking the saleen for a spin of course.

Spacer was oblivious to the vehicle outside her window. Her mane slowly drooped over her face as the train rattled. The music playing in her ears got her dreaming of herself at a raving party in manehatten. She was dancing and having a grand time before a loud engine sound and another kind of music cut into her dream. She looked around in her imagination and seen some sort of car driving through the club. 'Why is there a car in the club?' She thought inside of her dream as she flew over to the car but was stopped.

 

Spacer suddenly woke up and instantly looked outside to see the orange pegasus driving a car. She had no idea what kind of car it was as her knowledge of cars was outdated. She gave a slow wave to him with a part smile trying to give a friendly impression.

Nitro saw the blue mare wave to him. He then opened a little compartment where his hydraulic switches were. He pressed the button and his Saleen jumped into he air. He gave a wave to the mare as he landed back on the pavement hardly losing any speed. He stayed next to the train.

Spacer watched the orange stallion do his stunt and raised an eyebrow. 'This stallion has to be some kind of racer or stunt pony' She thought to herself continuing to watch the stallion. Maybe he was also a winner for this trip. She looked around at the other ponies to see there were a lot more. She dazed off for too long missing a good introduction and she knew she snored when she slept so they all probably thought she was weird. She huddled in her seat and checked her saddlebags to see if she still had everything.

Nitro had been driving for a while. Therefore, he flipped a switch, which put his car on auto-pilot. Nitro had a small sensor clipped to his ear, which allowed him to fly outside the car and his Saleen will keep up with him. He opened the driver's door and spread his wings. He then took to the air right above his Saleen. He looked at the blue mare.

While Raze was playing his guitar, the train intercom went on.

 

"Attention all passengers: we will be arriving at Manehattan Station in a few moments. All passengers getting off at Manehattan should now proceed to the train doors."

 

Looks like that's me, he thought. He quickly packed up his guitar, gathered the rest of his things, and made his way to one of the nearby exits.

Spacer kept watching the orange stallion and gave another friendly wave until she heard the intercom. She lifted up her saddlebags and placed them on her back making her way to the closest door. She didn't want to wait to get off this this train. She felt lazy enough. Spreading her wings and stretching, Spacer took out a cook she packed and nibbled on it as she awaited for the train doors to open. 'I wonder if they have a music store...what I am saying of course they do its Manehatten!' She thought to herself staring outside a window to the upcoming city.

The road curved off and Nitro looked up to see the tall buildings of Manehattan. He then opened the door, got back into his car and disabled auto pilot. "Well...this is it. Gosh that blue mare looked so beautiful..." Nitro thought to himself as he continued to drive toward Manehattan.
