"No reason. I was just wondering." Shooting said. She looked around the room. His answer was something every mare would be adoring. Shooting thought.

 

"Well, want to go to dinner now or do you want to wait a bit longer?" Shooting asked, looking around for a clock.

"Sure, let's go." He opened the door for Shooting. "After you."

 

When they reached the elevator, he pressed the elevator button to go down.

 

Why would she ask something like that all of a sudden...?he thought while the elevator was going down.

 

She doesn't actually have a crush on me... does she?

"Thanks." Shooting said as she walked out the door.

 

"We're not having anything with alcohol in it for a drink, right?" She wanted to make sure as they walked into the elevator. I don't want to get drunk, not even a small amount I would take, unless I absolutely had to. Shooting thought.

"Nah, I don't drink... honestly, I don't see why... it dulls your mind and stuff. I used to work in the Royal Guard, so I couldn't drink, even if I wanted too."

 

Finally, they arrived at the lobby, and finally, the restaurant. Raze approached a mare standing behind a podium.

 

"You got a table for two? We won some contest, so I think our meals are free..." He showed her the letter saying that he had won.

 

The mare looked it over, then gave it back to him. "Right this way." She led to a table big enough for two ponies, then gave them their menus.

 

"The waiter will be with you in a moment." she said before leaving.

"I don't like alcohol, let alone the fact of how I'd act after." Shooting said.

 

Shooting followed Raze as they walked to the restaurant. Wow, it's fancy and yet it's so casual! Shooting thought.

 

When they got to their table she sat down. She looked over her menu.

"Yeah, being drunk sucks, which is another reason why I don't drink," Raze said, looking over his menu. He glanced at Shooting, who was doing the same.

 

She's beautiful... he thought.

 

Suddenly, a stallion waiter came over guys.

 

"How are you guys doing tonight? Can I get you anything to drink?"

"I'll have a vanilla milkshake." Shooting said.

 

He's cute... I just wonder what would happen if he somehow asked me out. Shooting thought. She smiled at Raze. I'll never be asked out by him, he's probably from somewhere else so I'd never see him. Shooting thought.

After starring off into space for a couple minutes, Spacer shook her head and took the orange stallion up on his offer.  "Okay! That sounds like a great idea!" She quickly trotted off into his room and looked around. "Hey you have more room than I do" She joked and looked at Nitro "So what did you bring to unpack? I don't think I seen anything with you." She said placing her saddlebags down.

Creamy was thinking about Raze, "What if he doesn't like me..? What if he just likes Shooting..?". She whispered to herself, but then she thought.

 

She now knew why Raze left, he went to dinner with Shooting. "Well, anyways. I should go to bed, anyway they're coming to the cafe with me.". She fell asleep soundly and was never disturbed.

"Well...I had quite a few things that a butler had to get a luggage cart." Nitro stated. A butler soon came with Nitro's stuff. It including his recording stuff, electric guitar, keytar, electric bass and amplifier. "Here you go sir." The butler said. "Thank you." Nitro stated. "Well...ready to get started?" Nitro asked taking off his racing helmet.

Spacer's eyes widened at the sight of all Nitro's things. "Wow you really must be good and string instruments am I right?" She picked up up the electric guitar with care in her hoofs and gently grazed her hoof over the strings giving a soft in tune sound. "Your really lucky to be talented with this. Where do you what this stuff? IS anywhere fine?" She said leaning the guitar against the couch.

 

'This stallion is one friendly one. He's kind of cute. Bah he probably isn't even thinking the same thing' She thought before taking the thought out of her head.

"Well, see that corner with the desk over there. All of my instruments should go there." Nitro stated as he picked up his bass and carried it to the corner he wanted it to be. He then came back and picked up his recording stuff, which included his laptop and small equalizer.

"I'll just have a cola," Raze said. The waiter wrote it down. "Alright then." He looked at both Raze and Shooting. "You guys on a date?" he asked with a smile.

 

Raze blushed at that. "N-n-no, just a... dinner between friends."

 

I wish it were, he thought.

 

"Ah, I see. Forgive my curiosity. I'll have your drinks in a minute," he said as he left. 

 

Raze sighed, then saw that Shooting was smiling at him. He smiled back, blushing again.

Creamy was still sleeping but she was dreaming this:

 

"oh hi, raze!", Creamy said to him. But she saw him with his "girlfriend, only in the dream" with him.

 

Raze completely ignored her, because he was too busy with her.

 

Shooting saw Creamy and rolled her eyes and said, "Honey, can we walk away to the pool now? Like you said?". She said that in a mean way. "Sure, Shooting. Anything for you.". Creamy was thinking, "He seems different now.. Did Shooting cast a spell on him?". "No she couldn't have." They both walked away to the pool in the hotel.

 

Creamy violently screamed, "NOOOOOO!". Everypony heard her all the way to the cafe. Even Raze did.

Shooting looked at the waiter when he asked if they were on a date. "N-n-no. It's just dinner." Shooting stuttered.

 

If he somehow asked me out, yes it would be a date... She thought.

 

Shooting sighed, a strand of her mane falling out of place. She pushed it back into place and looked at Raze again, a more tired smile on her face this time.

 

Shooting heard a loud 'no' from where she was. "Did you hear a loud no?" Se asked Raze, her look was replaced by confusion.

Raze smiled back again, but then also heard the loud "no".

 

"Yeah," he said, looking around. "But... where's it coming from...?" He thought the voice sounded like Creamy's. It had to be...

 

Suddenly, the waiter came back, with both of their drinks.

"Alright, one vanilla milkshake for the lady..." He handed Shooting the milkshake.

"And a cola for her friend." He gave Raze his drink. "So, you guys ready to order?"

 

Raze stood up. "Hold on." He turned to Shooting. "I'll be right back, just order what you want, alright?"

 

He quickly ran out the restaurant, took the elevator back up, and ran to his hotel room door. He opened it slowly, as to make no sound.

 

"Creamy..?" he whispered.

"I wonder who's voice it could be..." Shooting trailed off.

 

"Alright...?" Shooting said to Raze as he got up. She looked back at the waiter. "I'll have the hay burger." Shooting said and put her menu down.

 

Shooting realized her heart was tugging to follow Raze. No, I can't, he said he'd come back. I just have to trust him. She thought.

She saw Raze's worried face on him, she realized Raze heard her.

 

"Oh, heh.. Sorry, I just had a bad dream. I'll be alright, I swear. You can go back to your gir-FRIEND on your dat- DINNER! Yeah, sorry."

 

She blushed in embarressment. She thought, "ugh, I'm letting go of control of myself."

 

She laughed, and got back under the covers and closed her eyes, "Bye, Raze, See you in the morning.". She fell fast asleep.

Raze sighed, and scratched his head in relief. "Alright then... later."

 

Raze quickly took the elevator back down to the lobby, went inside the restaurant, and found the table Shooting was at, and sat down.

 

"So... I don't think I want to explain what it was, therefore I won't," he said to her with a sheepish smile. He looked at his menu. 

 

"I'll guess I'll have this 4-slice cheese pizza," he said to the waiter. He wrote both orders down. "Ok, they'll both be here in a little while," he said, and left.

 

Raze sighed, put his head down on the table, and lightly banged his hoof on it. "The things I do for other people..." he said quietly.

After the waiter left Shooting looked back at Raze. "So, what was up with the loud 'no'?" Shooting asked.

 

Do... Do I have a crush on him? No, Shooting don't think about that because you'd never see him after this. Shooting thought.

 

She smiled at Raze unknowingly.

Raze looked at Shooting, then shrugged. "Apparently, Creamy has a voice loud enough to be heard from 20 floors away," he said, smiling slightly. "I'm just glad she didn't shatter the windows or something..."

 

He looked at Shooting. I hope I can ask her out before this week ends, he thought. It'd be a shame if I didn't...

"Or somepony's eardrums if they were close enough." Shooting giggled. "Where are you from? Last time I asked you, you ran off." Shooting said.

 

I want to ask him out but what if he says no to me and yes to somepony else? Shooting thought. She kept looking at Raze, smiling.

Raze laughed at Shooting's joke. "I'm from Ponyville, working as a private military contractor." he said, answering Shooting's question. "But... I've been thinking of moving out recently. Ponyville's nice, but... it's a bit too quiet for my tastes. Plus, that kind of place isn't good for my line of work, not a lot of folks there who require my services. I was thinking of moving into a city, maybe Canterlot, or even here."

Creamy woke up suddenly. She started watching tv, but nothing was on.

 

She went down to the first floor and decided to go for a chillax in the jacuzzi. "Maybe this will soothe me.." She thought in her head.

 

The gray unicorn went down and she saw Raze and Shooting. She wanted to go over there so bad, but she thought it would be rude.

 

She swiped the hotel card to get inside the pool room. She saw the jacuzzi and got in immediately. It was so relaxing to her.

 

But she couldn't stop thinking about Raze. She thought to herself, "what if he picks shooting?"

"This area is pretty nice." Shooting said.

 

"So if Creamy is sleeping in your room tonight where are you going to stay?" Shooting asked. He could stay in my room if he doesn't have anywhere to stay. I could always sleep on the floor anyways. She thought.
