After a few minutes of eating and yet more joking with Shooting, Raze finally finished his meal. He sighed in content.

 

"That was a good meal... and a good laugh" he said, smiling.

 

"Sooo... should I ask for the check now, or do you want dessert?" he kindly asked Shooting.

"Yep." Shooting said. She put the chopsticks down.

 

"No, we're going to steal the restaurant." Shooting said sarcastically. Shooting smiled. "We should probably pay. And by that I mean you, I forgot my money at the hotel, I'll pay you back when we go back to the hotel." Shooting said. I feel awful for doing that... At least I'll pay him back when we get back to my room. Shooting thought.

"Well, of course I was gonna pay," Raze said with a kind smile. "Don't worry about it. I woulda paid for it even if you did bring money." He asked the waiter for his check, and it read the whole thing cost 150 bits, which Raze paid for without a hint of worry on his face, even leaving a 15% tip for the waiter. He stood up, offering his hoof to Shooting.

"Ready to go hun?" he asked her with a smile.

"But I would have given you money to pay for at least some of it." Shooting said. Shooting took his hoof to help her stand up. "You're an idiot. If everything costed money I even wanted, you wouldn't allow me to pay a bit for any of it." Shooting said, sighing.

 

"Yeah, let's go before you insist on me not paying a thing for anything anymore." Shooting said. She put her hoof around him.

"It ain't that," Raze said. "Look, I was only trying to be nice. I'm sorry if I offended you for it..." He dropped his head down in embarrassment.

Seriously though, that kinda stung... he thought to himself. I may be a soldier, but I still have personal feelings, you know...

Great job Shooting, you hurt your own boyfriend's feelings, you deserve an award for it! Shooting thought sarcastically. "Look, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, I didn't mean to. I'm just so used to paying for my own stuff." Shooting said.

 

"Hey, how about I take you to dinner on me?" She asked. To the hotel...

 

(OOC: It'd be easier to know what she's meaning with gestures but I don't know how to put it down... I'm not a drama queen in real life, I'm kinda a mean person actually... In joking manners and small things of course!)

"No, it's fine, I'm... kinda used being called that, actually... doesn't mean that I like it though," Raze said the last part more quietly remembering what some of the other guards said when he would work with them. About how he was reckless in almost everything, how he wasn't a by-the-books type pony like everyone else, and that he didn't deserve to be hired by the guard.

 

Yeah, well, at least I got the job done, you spineless pricks, he thought angrily, clenching a hoof.

"I'm sorry." Shooting apologized. Shooting remembered when she was teased as an idiot and was continued to apologize when they teased her. She shook her head from the memory.

 

They were the idiots, teasing a filly just for my talent. Shooting thought. She noticed Raze clenching a hoof. "Something wrong, you're clenching your hoof." Shooting said.

"Wha... oh, it's nothing," Raze said, unclenching his hoof. "You don't have to apologize, I'm not mad. You're right anyway, I shouldn't have to pay for everything. I just wanted you be happy and not have to worry about it, that's all..."

At least he's not mad. They were right, I'm a stupid idiot. I should have just agreed with him... Shooting thought, keeping a straight face. "Just.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you frustrated." She apologized, hanging her head. I don't think he still loves me for some reason... Shooting thought.

Raze kissed her and smiled. "It's ok. I could never be mad or frustrated at you. I still love you." They were back out on the streets. It was already afternoon.
 

"Let's see where else we can go to..." he looked around.

 

I hope she doesn't think I'm actually mad at her... She's the best that happened to me since I got my mark, he thought.

Shooting smiled back after he kissed her. "Well that's good." Shooting said. She returned to her normal perky self. Shooting followed Raze as they went outside again.

 

"Sure." Shooting said.

 

At least he didn't break-up with me or hit me at all... Shooting thought.

Raze and Shooting wandered around the city for the next couple of hours, admiring the sights, until it got dark. Raze yawned a bit.

 

"It's getting late," he said to Shooting. "Should we head back to the hotel, or there someplace you really wanted to see?"

"Let's head back to the hotel. I'm getting hungry for dinner." Shooting said. Shooting leaned her head against his side. I think he likes it when I lean against him, he always smiles really big when I do it. I need to not overuse it though. Shooting thought, smiling at him.

"Alright then," Raze said leading her back towards the hotel. They found a empty taxi among the vast array of taken taxis in the streets of Times Square, and within a few minutes, they were finally back at the hotel.

Raze got off and opened the cab door for Shooting.

"Should we head to your room first?" he asked her.

Shooting followed Raze since she had no idea which way to go.

 

Once she sat down she waited patiently for the cab to get back to the hotel. When Raze opened the door for her, she got out.

 

"I don't mind, either way works for me." Shooting said as they walked into the hotel.

Raze exhaled deeply. "I guess we should head to your room for now. I'm a bit exhausted from walking all day. We can eat later on." He took her back up to the floor where her room was, opened the door for her.

"Ok, that's cool with me." Shooting said, shrugging. Shooting lead the way this time to her room. She walked in when Raze held the door open. "Thanks." Shooting said. What if I got drunk? I wonder what would happen to me... Shooting thought. "Wait, you said you couldn't drink because you were on the royal guard, and you said you were planning on moving, I don't get it." Shooting said, flopping on her bed.

"Alright, here's the deal with that: first, I'm not with the guard per se; I'm a Private Military Contractor, they hire me for my services. Their rules apply to me whenever I get hired by them for something, which includes drinking on the job. Even still, I don't drink... well, I actually haven't yet; I've been avoiding that stuff all my life."

 

He laid down on the bed with her. "And second: because I'm not with the guard, I don't really live in the barracks there; I got my own house, so I can move where I please.... Speaking of moving,

you said you live in Baltimare, right? I think I found my new place to live in..." He smiled at her.

"So if you were on vacation, like now, you could drink but you just don't want to?" Shooting said, making it sound more like a question. I guess that makes sense. Shootig thought.

 

Shooting tried to hold her smile back but it forced itself onto her mouth. "It's just me living there right now. So you could move in without it being a problem for anypony else." She said. Shooting kissed him on the cheek.

"Pretty much," Raze said. "I have a choice, and my choice is no... although I wonder what would happen to me if I did get drunk..."

He sighed, and laid back, then Shooting told him how moving to Baltimare with her wasn't going to be a problem.

"I see," Raze said, grinning. "Well then, as soon as this vacation's up, I'll try and get there as soon as possible..." He nuzzled her.

 Spacer held onto the car's door as Nitro put the pedal to the metal and felt the g-force pulling her back in her seat. After he settled off the gas at 70, Spacer looked over to Nitro to notice he looked like he was in his zone. "I don't think I have every went this fast before. Not even if I was flying." She said trying to sit back up in her seat after the acceleration.

"Well, welcome to the speed zone." Nitro stated as he took the car up to 80mph. He pulled the lever that contracted his jump springs as he pulled behind a slower taxi. He was close to hitting it from behind, but pushed the button that retracted his jump springs and the car sprang into the air over the taxi. It then landed a few hundred feet in front of it.

Not only that, but I heard Baltimare is a great city too, he thought. And it's the perfect place for my line of work. But still... I'm only going there because of the one I love... He kissed Shooting. "So... when do you wanna head down?"
