There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile.

He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.

He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse.

And they all lived together in a little crooked house.

Ah - a nice rendition of one of the most adorable Rarity pictures I've ever stumbled across during my time on the internet :D

The shading is excellent - her mane and tail look shiny, in a way, but her eyeshadow looks matte, which is the way both of those things should be :D

I think the eyes are a bit disproportionate, however, namely the right one - it looks uneven, in a sense, and the lower left corner looks as sharp as a knife. Perhaps rounding it out a bit more in the future would do you well :D

In any case, nice work :D

That looks epic! I love the way the shading looks on the pony and how the hair looks so shiny...

I like how it looks as if she's wearing eyeshadow. That's neat.

I don't care what pony you like because I like everypony!

Dude, that is good. I like the overall shading and shine in the mane and tail. One thing I noticed about the horn is that it is off center (over one eye instead of in between). Either way, this piece is quite adorable, awesome work.

Not that I'm calling you out or anything, but this clearly a redraw:

SleepyRarityartistunknown_zps20382304.pn

If you're going to do that, at least credit the original artist. If you're not because you don't think you did it well enough compared to the original (which I assume is the reason because why else would you not show your reference?), than I would advise that you don't post it at all. If you're not proud of your work, what's the point?

Also, you shouldn't be copying what other artists work unless you make sure they did things right, look up references (3d FIM pony models, and real life horse models, because believe it or not, the anatomy of a FIM pony is very accurate to a real life one (except for exaggerated eyes and a completely altered snout)). Artist's are not infallible, even a seemingly great piece can have severe mistakes (viewing work in a mirror or just going into paint and clicking the "flip horizontal" button shows the flaws, because it shows the drawing in an unbiased light). Tho, I don't think there's anything seriously wrong with the original.

But you also don't want to be completely copying because unless you do it in a different medium or style than you're adding nothing new to the world of art. I mean you can for your own sake, for the same reason photo realists do what they do, but there's not really any point beyond that. While no one can lay claim to a character design, color, style, pose, angle, ect (for all we know, someone came up with Lauren Faust's pony style LONG before she did, but never published it), you should at least strive to do SOMETHING different, like change the style, medium, use only the pose/expression, but with a different character, etc. You can't know for absolute certain that nobody's done it, but at least there's a chance (and if you draw really bizarre creative things, than you're odds for being original are much higher).

Draw whatever you want, ultimately, but if you're gonna copy, show people the reference you used, so they can see how accurate you were, assuming you're goal was to recreate the image completely. Also, don't force a style, like I said, nobody has a right to claim ownership of any artsyle, because they can't be certain they did it first, and there are only so many ways to draw a fucking horse before it looks like a dog.

And the only reason I'm not critiquing your piece is because you can look at the reference and see what's wrong for yourself.

i've stated on numerous of my drawings that they originally aren't mine just re-draws, I haven't taken any credit at all on my drawings I just like to draw gives me something to do.

Except you didn't say that for this one, so anyone who hasn't read whatever post in whatever thread you said that in, and who haven't seen the original already will assume it's your original drawing. If you really didn't want to take credit for it, you would've shown that you copied. If you're intent was to fool me, you've failed. Again, there's nothing wrong with redrawing other people's stuff if you just wanna draw whatever you feel like, but at least show your references. It's very obvious that you were hiding the fact that you copied because you didn't want people comparing yours to the original.

And no, not saying you didn't copy doesn't mean you aren't still technically lying, withholding information to cause people to think what you want them to think is still deception.

Technically that art piece would be a redraw in itself, the artist who originally made it, unless they work on the art for the show, doesn't have the rights to draw it themselves, therefore you could say that any drawing made by a fan would be a redraw in itself.

Well the redraw part is that it's pretty much a complete redraw, line to line. That's what I mean by that, taking a specific art piece and attempt to redraw it exactly. Just using a character you didn't create isn't a redraw, especially when it's not even the same style.

Take a look at this:
