If anyone has any tips for people like me who just started playing Clash of Clans and are struggling to gather resources? Also any tips on how to layout your base to defend your loot? Please post pictures if you can and thanks for reading this if you do!

Make sure your defenses cover all of your resources, seems simple, but you'd be surprised at how many people don't do this.

 

If you don't have enough walls to protect everything, protect your storage and town hall, if anything is exposed it should be your gold mines/elixir pumps.

 

Don't neglect uprgading your storage capacity, it's how you get better stuff.

 

Other than that, it's fairly self explanatory, if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

Pay money=win. That's about all you need to know for Clash of Clans and most of the AppStore. Once you learn that one simple trick you can conquer the appstore*

Oh yeah and save up everything. Don't spend anything until you've stockpiled like you're playing a Bethesda game. That's how I do most things like Clash of Clans.
