“I told you mom” Codely grinned into the phone “it’s just an internship,” He paused and listened to the angered voice on the other line. “No…no I’m not getting paid! Mom, he’s my uncle! No, you don’t have to talk to him. W-wait just wait.” He took a calming breath, “No I’m not getting paid, but this will look fantastic on a collage application…no really collage is way harder to get into nowadays!” The teen’s voice cracked. “Please don’t bring dad into-hi dad! … Yes I’m being safe. No I’m not wait, why would I do that? Oh never mind I’m fine. … Well, he’s your brother. I know, I know. I know what he said. Listen, he didn’t have enough to put me on a payroll. Its fine, I’m getting plenty of experience with all sorts of things. … Ok, ok I’ll tell him. … Love you too. LOVE YOU MOM! Bye, I’ll see you all this winter.”

Codely hung up the phone and placed it on the wall post. He sighed and rubbed his temples, shaking his head before plopping down on a nearby couch. He was spending the school year working for his uncle Franz who ran a government testing thingy. To be honest he didn’t know many details. His uncle had taught him the basic functions of a rather large device called a super computer, it was all very interesting, but not something he could ever imagine working as his uncle had described. Teleporting things in the real world into a computer? Impossible. But a lot of the tech would lead to great video games that much he was sure of.

He looked around his uncles flat, it was nice, 2 stories and a basement, a grand piano in the corner. He thought about playing it, but went against it, turning on the TV instead.

He flipped through the channels, catching snippets of words as they whizzed by.

                “A mass power outage-“

                “Homes without water and heat-”

“Three buses crashed at the same time!”

                “9 people dead 3 injured.”

Codely scowled, so much news! He finally landed on some Saturday morning cartoon, and slumped into the couch watching the show.

The characters jumped around the screen they were off to fight some monster, but he wasn’t paying much mind to the plot. Or the visuals. Maybe if he was than he would have seen the dark shape in the corner of the TV. Maybe he would have seen a shadowy limb emerge from the monitor maybe he would have had time to run or cry for help. But by the time he realized his fate it was too late. The shadow wrapped about his body faster than he could react. He tried to scream, but the icy darkness shot into his gaping mouth. He went limp and the shadow lifted his body from the inside out. For a second he floated, than he fell. He opened his eyes, and he was alone. But something had changed, his pupils were gone, his eyes were milky whiteness with two burning red symbols reflecting in the empty pool. He smiled, stood, and then ran for the door. No one ever heard from him again.

                20 years later.

Katie Granger stood before the gaping doors of Kadic High School. She was dressed in a shimmering blue gown with matching high heels and a purse. She hated dresses, and heels even more, but her aunt had insisted she look nice.

“Go On!” her uncle grinned pushing Katie to the doors. “Meet some new friends, Lord knows you need some.”

“I don’t know Todd.” She said to her uncle, “School dances are always lame, just a bunch of kids and PTA’s sitting with nothing to eat but store bought cookies and water. No one even dances.”

Her uncle rolled his eyes. “Come on Katie! Go mingle! No better way to start a new school!”

Katie sighed, “Fine whatever. See you and Aunty Piper later.”

“Alright sweetie.” Uncle Todd kissed her head. “Don’t have TOO much fun!” He waved goodbye. Laughing.

“Wasn’t planning on it.” Katie muttered, walking into the school, kicking off her high heels as she did and holding

them at her side.

"Well...it is great to be back with Lyoko again. All of the adventures we went through last time, oh it was awesome." Thunder stated. "Yeah, I really can't wait 'til our first virtualization again. Our abilities will grow twofold!" Blitz stated. "You still need to work on that flying of yours." Thunder stated. "Well, it's already difficult trying to cope with my telekinetic abilities, especially after that one time I nearly destroyed that tower." Blitz stated with a laugh. "Blitz! That was not funny at all! You could've gotten that girl seriously injured. Ugh, how many times do I have to tell that not everything is a big joke!" Thunder scorned. "Alright, alright!" Blitz sort of grumbled and crossed his arms. "Oh stop your pouting..." Thunder said.

Thunder then flew over to the Kadic high school, followed by Blitz in a few seconds. "Well, this place is pretty sweet." Thunder stated as he walked through the doors. He then eyed a specific girl. Blitz saw Thunder eying the girl. "What are you looking at?" He asked. "Her." Thunder stated. "Ooh somebody's a bit attracted!" Blitz teased. "Oh be quiet Blitz before I have to make you be quiet." Thunder said as he walked up to the girl. "Hi there. My name's Thunder." He said.

The school dance at Kadic. Another chance for Alphonse to meet some group that wouldn't ultimately give up on him because of his little problem. Taking a swig of Chouchen from his flask, then quickly hiding it back in his jacket, lest any of the staff see it. The dance hadn't really been picking up yet, he was sitting at a table with a plastic cup of water to keep hydrated, waking up the next morning with a throbbing headache would not be a strong start to the semester.

Alphonse laid his head on the table and sighed. "This is going to be a train wreck I know it." He said to himself, picking his head up off the table and grabbing some cookies from a tray. He munched on them, trying to savor the sweetness of the treat before scanning around and seeing nobody really there that wasn't already in a group. He pulled out his flask again and took another swig. "This is going to be a long night." He said to nobody in particular. He drank a bit of water to offset the dehydration from the alcohol, then went outside for some air. He sat on a bench, staring in to his water. He was early anyways, more people would show up and the dance would at least become more bearable. At least, that's what he told himself as he leaned his head against the wall.

"Wonderful, Kadiac High definitely looks superior to public. If only I jumped on this sooner." spoke a somewhat tall 17 year old, wearing a trench coat over his grey long sleeved shirt and dressy black pants. He also wore a Blues Brothers style black trilby. He carried a backpack with him, but filled with flyers of a sort.

"I hope that the other at the dance will be interested in joining the Teens for Liberty political group I want to start..." he thought, "Well Arti.F.Geheim, you'll have to make sure to have fun too, don't want to spoil it with you're politics all night."

Arti Smirked, as he carried onward to the school, hoping for the dance to show the school to be more interesting than he could tell. Sure it was fancy, and seam to half think it was a University, and definitely better than public school, but Arti knew that the crowd of students attending is what would make this year good or not.

Dropping this from his mind, he continued to where the Dance would be held, ready to meet other classmates.

"Though I hope there aren't any paranoid Gym teachers here, that'd be kind of annoying..."

Vincent sat up, perfectly straight in the back of the car. He took a moment to look at himself in the rear-view mirror... as always, his father insisted he dressed his best. When he heard about the school was having a beginning of school dance... he'd barely been able to convince his dad that wearing a full on suit would be going too far. He was wearing a black tie ontop of a white dress shirt, fitted black dress pants to go alongside it. He looked himself over... not a crease to be found along his entire outfit, per his father's instructions.

"Sit up straight, maggot!" He suddenly heard from the from of the car, instantly straightening his back. "Yes Instructor Storm!" He shouted from the back of the car... he knew his dad didn't mean it when he called him maggot. It was just the side effect of growing up in a military family... with a dad that sometimes forgot when he was a father and when he was on base training recruits. They'd moved all around the country, throughout his life, as he father trained recruits at various military installations. Finally, just in time for his last few years of school, they were sending him to a boarding school... Maybe here, atleast, he'd spend enough time around people for them not to actively run away from him.

Yeah, Vincent was a pretty big, strong guy, all things considered. He was already big for a kid his age, and between the training is father had put him in, and his perceiving yellow eyes, he scared just about everyone. Finally, they arrived at the front gate, and he climbed out. He gave a salute to his father, said his goodbyes... even managed to get a stiff, slightly awkward hug before his dad got back in the car and drove away. He sighed. He walked past a few classmates who were also on thier way to the dance, getting a few odd looks and a fairly wide berth, especially from younger students, as he walked into the building the dance was being held. He looked around... maybe he could find a quiet seat in the corner where he wouldn't bother anyone's good time...

Rush arrived at the dance wearing pretty much the same casual clothes he always wore, except for the addition of a blazer that made him look at least somewhat presentable for a dance environment, while still making it clear that he didn't really care. He didn't really like to play dress-up, and without a date, he wasn't sure what the point of going to a dance was anyway. The last couple years he'd been able to find a girl to go with in the hours between his arrival on campus and the start of the dance, but this year he was later than usual. But then, perhaps that was to his advantage. If he didn't have a date going into the dance, maybe he could use this as an opportunity to scout one out, and if he played his cards right he could still be walking out with somebody. At least this gives him something to do besides pretending he cared about the dance itself, and at Kadic he was always looking for something to do. After all, when you're not the academic type, living at school could be pretty boring. At least, it had been that way for him so far.

Walking onto the dance floor, he began to scan the room, looking for any girls that were both attractive and clearly single. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

Whisper ran down the sidewalk barefooted and in a frenzy. Not only had she woke up late but she had missed her bus as well.

"Oh, crap oh crap oh crap" she mumbled through the straps of her sandals that were clenched tightly between her teeth. Her short light green dress flowed behind her as she ran, olive legs pumping as fast as they could while Whisper simultaneously braided her hair.

Transferring from her shelter to Kadic was a huge thing for her. She could live practically on her own now and wouldn't have to share a room with 4 other girls. Even though she had woken up late, Whisper was still obligated to do her final chores for the day. From which resulted her in missing her bus and rather than waiting for another half-hour she decided to run to school. It wasn't too far...not really.

Finally reaching the pathway into the school, Whisper began to hop towards the door while attempting to tie on a shoe. She hopped into the dance and tripped. But rather than get up, she sat there fixing her shoe.

I hope I make good friends here. Real nice ones!

As Arti hung his trench coat on the rack in the doorway, he took a look around the Dancefloor, seeing the crowd was just getting in. Figuring his dressy long sleeved shirt and tie along with his Trilby and CLASSY pants would work well enough for look well dressed yet somewhat casual, he decided to find someone to talk to in order to see what the crowd was like before trying to find people to join his political discussion group.

Arti surveyed the room, seeing a variety of students. It was kind of overwhelming, so he looked around to see who was comming in that he could greet.

Rush arrived at the dance wearing pretty much the same casual clothes he always wore, except for the addition of a blazer that made him look at least somewhat presentable for a dance environment, while still making it clear that he didn't really care. Seeing Rush nearby (not knowing his name, of course), Arti figured he'd try to start a casual conversation.

"He is REALLY casually dressed, but at least he doesn't look like a hipster. Besides, my old friends never wore anything dressy."

After a quick mental thought,(because you can have thoughts that aren't mental), Arti made his way next to Rush and extended his hand to try and greet him.

"Hello, I'm Arti, what brings you here?"

"Hello, I'm Arti, what brings you here?"

Rush inwardly groaned, but tried to look friendly. Time spent talking to this guy was time that he wasn't spending finding a pretty girl to hit on. Of course, he wasn't really in any big hurry at the moment. He hadn't really seen anyone he liked yet anyway. "Well, I'm a student here, so I'm kind of obligated to show up, after all. And even if it's boring coming to a dance by myself, it still beats sitting around in my room all night. My name is Rush, by the way."

As he spoke he continued searching the room, and it just so happened that he noticed a girl walking in who he couldn't help but take something of an interest in for whatever reason. And, since she appeared to be alone, he figured it was worth a shot. Which meant he needed to find a way to disengage this guy. "Anyway, I'd love to talk to you more later, but right now I've got something I need to take care of." He nodded and walked away, feeling bad about it but at the same time feeling like he could have done a lot worse. At least he didn't technically lie. For him, not having a date was something that needed to be taken care of.

@@RunsWithSquirlz,

He approached the girl, who had tripped and was now on the ground and extended a hand to help her up. "Hey there. Are you alright?"

Arti Politely nodded his head and watched as Rush walked off to talk to the girl. He gave a sly grin seeing what Rush was up to, not bothering him a bit. He then continued further into the Dance hall to see who else he could meet.

The next few moments where spent looking around and greeting various students, though Arti failed to get into any major conversations or joining up with anybody. After a bit, he then grabbed a cup of punch and made his way to the sidelines of the dance. With a look to the corner, he noticed a large guy sitting in one of the chairs, whom looked slightly bored. Figuring he ought to try and help other have a good time, Arti decided to grab another punch and walk up to to him.

"Hello, I'm Arti, figured you looked quite bored so i got you a drink. What brings you to this school?"

Alright, good.A nice seat off in the corner... atleast he wouldn't be bothering anyone trying to have a good time. "Erg... feel sorry for the guy that gets me as a roommate..." he muttered.Even as he sat there, tempting to lean forward in his seat, he sat up completely straight. Force of habit. Considering he'd grown up in such a strict household, it wasn't surprising to him. He looked at the various students walking throughout the room... even spotting a girl in what he could only describe as a shimmering, beautiful blue gown. He felt his face flush just looking at the girl with brown hair and blue eyes that seemed all the more stunning from the dress. He actually felt himself halfway towards standing up to go talk to her when he managed to catch himself, sitting himself back down. "Aw, forget it... i`d probably just scare her anyway..." He muttered, sighing as he kneaded his forehead a moment before resuming sitting up straight.

As he sat there, he heard a few students muttering that he was security for the dance... heh... not surprising. He did look like he should be a few years out of school. And with his build... well, he could see the mistake being made. He sat there, not realizeing his boredom growing on his face when he suddenly saw a cup of punch put in front of him, blinking as he looked at the student. The first thing he noticed was the goatee... preety filled out for a student. "Oh, uh... thanks." He muttered, taking the cup and a long draw from it. "Oh, I transferred here this year because...well, I dunno why.I guess maybe my dad decided I needed to have a... more stable environment for my last few years of high school..." He took another drink. "I`m Vincent Walker." He said simply, introducing himself. He was still surprised someone had actually come up to him.

"Oh hey, hi!" she smiled up at him.

She grabbed his hand after tying a final knot on her shoe and pulled herself up. She didn't mind the proximity but finding herself eye level with his chin, Whisper stepped back slightly, hoping not to trip again. Whisper was never one to care about other peoples clothing, it was their choice. She was a strange one who only cared about the soul inside. Looking at Rush, she felt like he was a guy very sure of himself, strong but...brash.

"Oh, I'm fine." answering his earlier question "Sometimes my legs have a mind of their own. I mean I fall down ALOT. Over things, under things and on top. I'm sure if it was possible, I'd fall upwards...". She face-palmed. There could be only one reason he had come over to her, just like at her other dances...he was going to ask her to join him!

"You came here to ask me to dance right? And here I am sputtering out nonsense again..." she sighed and rubbed her arms.

"I can't dance with you, not because I don't want to! I can't...I'm about graceful as a newborn zebra" Whisper gave him a large smile and shrugged.

After failing to get the attention of the girl. Thunder decided to go get a drink. He then decided to have a little chat with his brother. "So...how are your grades?" Thunder asked. "Well, I've got an A in Physics, but sadly a C in History. I don't know why, but history is just so boring to me. That teacher's monotone voice just makes me fall asleep all the time. Probably he should be hired as a hypnotist!" Blitz sort of teased. "Blitz, what'd I tell you about cracking jokes like that?" Thunder asked. "Ugh, sorry bro, it's just that..." Blitz started. "Ah-ah, no excuses." Thunder stated as he gathered electricity and made a drink for Blitz appear from the blue. "Oh, thanks bro." Blitz stated. "No problem." Thunder replied.

Thunder then got up and went to the dance floor. He then broke out in an electric style dance. Blitz just watched from the side. He then turned to a random person. "Yeah...my bro is like the dance king. He never ceases to amaze me. But I'm almost as good as him though." Blitz stated. he waited for an opportune to strike a duel with Thunder.

Arti noticed how surprised Vincent seemed to see him. Truth be told, he could see why many others may not approach him so directly, being how well built and somewhat intimidating he looked.

"More structured school environment eh? Perhaps he has some trouble with average academics... i'd blame the schools more though." thought Arti, before thinking up a reply.

"So, You into many sports? You appear to be the king of guy that'd jump on that." Arti paused for a second, "You almost look military even."

After failing to get the attention of the girl. Thunder decided to go get a drink. He then decided to have a little chat with his brother. "So...how are your grades?" Thunder asked. Hearing a bit of a ruckus, Arti looked for a few moments to the dance floor, seeing Thunder going all out into a dance. It was surprising, as he honestly did not expect there to be that much excitement in a dance this early into the year, most people would still be getting used to the crowd. The kid did have a good vibe going, though his electric style dancing was... unexpected, perhaps a teacher may intervene if he gett's too into it.

Then again, this school may have a more laid back attitude than Arti previously thought.

After giving a moments mind to the Dance floor, Arti turned back to Vincent, expecting a reply.

((Sorry for the delay. I would have responded sooner but I didn't see your post somehow.))

Rush helped her up and smiled at her in a friendly way, trying to adjust his posture to make up somewhat for the height difference and chuckling as she talked about how clumsy she was. "You know, that's actually kind of cute in a weird way. But anyway yeah, you're pretty much right about why I came up to you in the first place. Of course, we don't have to dance if you don't want to. Honestly, I'm pretty awful at it myself. I usually only do it because my date wants to. Of course, I don't have a date tonight, but I thought you might like to help me with that. Maybe that's a bit sudden, but I just have good feeling about you somehow, and it doesn't hurt that you're probably the prettiest girl in the room." He grinned. "Whaddya say? We don't actually have to dance if you don't want to, and if you decide I absolutely repulse you you're free to go find someone else instead, but I'd like to think I'm pretty good company. My name's Rush, by the way. At least that's what everyone calls me."

Vincent took a moment to look the boy over. Tall, for his age, but still abit shorter than himself... He seemed lean, and wore rather nice clothing. Not surpriseing, considering the function they were at, but unlike a good number of the students, he didn;t stand there fidgeting in his dress-wear. Like Vincent, it seemed he was use to such clothing.  "Huh? Sports? No. I`ve never gotten involved with those... my dad kept me at home after school on a full on training schedule when he could... " When Arti mentioned him looking military, he let out a short chuckle. "Heh... well, my dad would be happy to hear you say that, at least. I grew up in a military household. Y'know, 'My dad was military, and his dad before him and his dad before him'... the whole sepal. My dad's been raising me a military kid since I was old enough to talk. First words he tried to teach me were military call signs."

He also noticed the sudden commotion going on in the middle of the dance, glancing over towards it. Some kid was dancing in a way he could only describe as... electric. He was honestly a little jealous... able to just go out into the middle of a crowd, have a good time and not care if people judged you... or heck, people not even judgeing you... just respecting your dancing.

Alphonse had been drinking fairly heavily by now, already finished his first flask, and thoroughly pickled, so much so he smelled of alcohol if one was so inclined to be near enough to him. He was beginning to get bored. 'May as well go mingle, it is a dance after all.' He thought to himself. Whether that was him or the liquid courage coursing through his system, was anybody's guess.

He shakily arose from the bench outside the gym and unsteadily walked in to the gym. He saw a guy dancing with such electricity, that he wanted to join in. He blundered over to him and started swaying unsteadily, not really something one could call a dance, as he was in nowhere near a state to be coordinated enough to dance properly. He was struggling to stay on his feet for a while until he finally fell over himself and stopped his wiggling.

"Ughhh...." He groaned. The impact must have sobered him up slightly, "Well, now that I've thoroughly made a fool out of myself, my name is Alphonse." He said, as he got up and dusted himself off, extending a hand to Thunder and rubbing his head with his other.

"Honey, will you please got to the Academy? You'll be able to make some friends." Minx's mum vainly tried to convince her to attend. The school dance was a bit of a surprise but it only made her go even less.

"No. I told, I don't want to go." Minx said as she crossed her arms. She blew some purple bangs out of her face as she sat in the car. Her mum just sighed and shook her head.

"This will be a good experience for you, Jessabelle." Her dad said. Minx cringed. She knew that whenever dad used her full name it was serious. She nervously laughed. and played with the hem of her fancy dress. She absolutely loathed dresses but it was compulsory for the dance. She was wearing a fancy dark emerald dress with high heels. The high heels were the worst.

"If you say so." Minx sighed. She stepped out the car and he parents drove off immediately after she closed the door. They gave toot of their horn as a goodbye. She sighed again and began to walk towards the gym. Her parents didn't know this about Minx but she has a split personality.

'Dances are boring. I'd rathet be playing video games. For once, I agree.' "Will you two shut up? I don't like this anymore then you do but we have no choice." Minx muttered to herself. She usually talked to herself when she was alone. Making it to the gym, she encountered a drunken guy. Passing by him, she went to go sit down in the corner, trying not to draw attention and occasionally muttering.

She pulled out her phone and started to play a game."Hey Devilinx, want to play Subway Surfer?" Minx whispered quietly. Devilinx was eager and took control of Minx's hands while she looked around, trying not to act like anything was up.

Katie had found a place to chill. The library had been left unlocked and it contained plenty of comfy chairs and old books, dusty from the time pass of the summer. She had also discovered a vending machine that offered piping hot coffee, not good piping hot coffee, but coffee all the same. Not only that, but she had snagged some cookies from the buffet table. Life was good.

She sat with her mind deep in a copy of Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets, her favorite in the series. Occasionally she would dunk a cookie in her coffee and cram it in her mouth, not bothering to be lady like in the empty library. She kinda wished she had some whisky to make her vending machine beverage an Irish vending machine beverage, but finding booze would be tough at a school dance, so she let the idea go.

Besides the booming of the kid friendly club music drifting from gym, the place was pretty silent, so she was shocked when a near by radio let out a shrill 'Bzzzzzz!' She jumped spilling her coffee all over the floor and cursing at the puddle that resulted.

With an angered scowl to the puddle on the floor, she put the book back on the shelf and went off in search of paper towels to clean the mess. Well looking for napkins she turned a corner and bumped in to a boy, literally. She rammed into him and she took a spill on the floor, landing on her butt. She crossed her legs and examined the boy, he had a crocked smile and a swaggered stance. Drunk off his ass. He seemed to be talking with the boy who had approached her earlier, she waved to Thunder before standing and turning to the drunk kid.

"Spare some whisky?" She asked the boy, her most charming smile on her face, "I'll kiss you for it."

Alphonse turned around a bit too quickly for his current state and nearly fell over. "Whiskey I don't have any of. I've got Chouchen though. Some pretty good cider and honey." He slurred. "I'm Alphonse by the way. Nice to meet you." He said, sitting down on the floor so the room would stop spinning. "I've just been waiting around here for the party to pick up but luckily it seems it has, kind of." He said, laying back on the floor. "Excuse me for a minute please." He said, standing up and walking to the bathroom, emptying the contents of his stomach. After a quick rinse of mouth wash and drinking some water, he felt a bit better, a little less drunk, but still pickled enough to make the decision to go back to the girl who offered him a kiss.

"I'm sorry about that, I just had a minor disagreement with my stomach." He said, then immediately slapping himself in the forehead. "Ok, that didn't come out right. You said you wanted a drink right?" He started pulling out his flask. "Wait, you're eighteen right? I don't want to get in to any more trouble than I already am right now, considering I'm not supposed to be drunk at school functions, says Mr. Kadic up in his office." He stumbled over his words as much as he was stumbling around drunk.

@@Secret Person,

(Btw... although I admit I would be shamelessly ripping traits from the teachers of the Persona series, maybe I could play a teacher occasionally :P

"Military calls signs? Sounds like you've had it rough, but at least you seem pretty tough from it though." Arti then began thinking what'd it'd be like to have a father like that. He'd thought about military before, but you'd probably get over-disciplined if you were started from such a young age. Even though that could be useful, there are other things kids may want to try...

Deciding to change the subject now, Arti then asked: "On another note, what are you taking here? I'm mostly in writing, business, and History courses."

In background, Arti was planning on getting involved in politics, but not after owning a business at some point. Having Kadiac in you record would look good for the future.

"This guy is interesting." thought Arti, "Though I wonder if anything much more exciting than that dancing guy will happen tonight... Nah!"

(I've been thinking, should we have much involvement with teacher characters like the show did? Could be interesting, especially considering some of the... developments, in the story here. Though they wouldn't be too important when the brown stuff kits the air displacement machine and something happens, which i assume will be sometime tonight.)

"Yeah, you're right..." Vincent said with a nod... it was certainty true. Years of discipline and, once he was old enough that it would do more good than harm, training. He was disciplined... never had a problem with a teacher, never got punished in schools, and was strong enough and trained in hand to hand combat to tangle with the best of them. It was great, really... but he still wasn't sure he liked it. He wished he wasn't as well built, so people would talk to him... wouldn't think he was some freakin' security guard. He wished he didn't have all these military call signs and hand-gestures drilled into his skull, sitting there uselessly. He wished he had some other god damn skills other than this, so his only choice after school wasn't the military, which his dad was pretty damn insistent on.

As the questions turned to classes, he looked notiably more... at ease. It was hard to tell, as he still sat straight up, but there was a differant look in his piercing eyes, and in his general face-lines. "Oh, y'know, just some normal classes. Nothing completely out there... I have classes focusing on history though. Maybe we'll be sharing a few. Really, they're the only classes i`m looking forward to." He said, remembering how Arti mentioned taking history courses. Honestly, he was glad he had those classes... even if no one wanted to talk to him and he spent more time training or in his dorm studying, he'd have one thing to look forward to.

EDIT: Decided to add a Teacher character. He's not my character, so use him as you wish. Just thought i`d introduce him

It was only then that one might notice a teacher stomping through the group of students, most of them just talking to eachother, but instantly getting an earful. The man was a skinny, short man. He wore a dark navy suit with white lines along it, with a white undershirt and a yellow and white checkered tie. He had black hair, but it was clearly balding, and stand-out buck teeth. If one had to guess, he looked to be in his early 40s. "Alright you little brats! I want everyone arms distance from eachother at all times! I`ll never understand why the school allows functions like this... all it does is get your hormones up, and THEN who gets to deal with a punch of perverts? Me, thats who! Hey, you!" the teacher, named Mr. Cultrou stomped over towards a student holding a flask. "Are you drinking? On school property!?"

Katie jumped at the sudden appearance of the teacher, shit she really wanted that booze. She needed a distraction! She took a step back from the drunk boy and pretended to be conversing with other boy, thunder. She took a chip casually from the nearby snack table and popped it in her mouth, than she gasped, and began to violently cough. She struggled for air, disturbing a few near by students who stared at her in shock.

"H-h-*cough cough* help!"

The teacher turned from the drunk boy and scowled at Katie, like her choking to death was no more alarming than an annoying fly. But he ended up rushing into action, giving Katie the Heimlich maneuver. Katie was a good actor, and she knew exactly what choking looked and felt like, so it was no problem to heave and gasp and to eventually take in a massive breath. She swallowed, leaning in the teachers arms and rubbing her throat, "can you take me to the nurses?" She squeaked.

The teacher rolled his eyes, "come on kid." he took lead, walking somewhat quickly from the gym.

Katie looked back in a second that near no one noticed, she winked at the drunk boy and mimicked drinking something before getting back into character and following the teacher through the crowed.

This year was going to be fun.

"Great, now I'm late." Said Dex as he fumbled around, trying to put his clothes on. He was already late and didn't have time to get anything good to eat. he opened his door, putting on his jacket, and had a piece of bread sticking out of his mouth. As he raced through the halls, which was pretty intimidating considering the size of him, he saw students moving about, some talking, some lazing about, even one or two rushing like he was for reasons unknown to him. 'Lucky i was able to get a dorm on campus, I'd never keep my schedule otherwise' he thought to himself. He was on his way to the gym to get a workout in; no one seemed to mind as long as nothing broke.

As he approached the gym, he saw that it was in use. "Oh that's right, I forgot the dance was today." He said to himself. A little bummed out, he though to himself, 'I wonder if they have any food. I don't feel like cooking today.' he then went into the gym, workout forgotten, to find something to eat. He saw people dancing, talking, and just having a good time. It put him on edge, but he didn't show it. Now he just wanted to hurry and get outta there.

He walked up to the table with food and just got some of everything: pasta, vegetables, tiny little steaks on bread, etc. He then sat down at one of the empty tables surrounding the dance floor and started to eat.

Minx had put her phone away and carefully stood up. She dusted her dress off and tried to smooth out any creases. She walked for a bit around the dancefloor, occasionally talking to a few of the students there. Sje winced when she heard the teacher. 'I don't like that teacher. Me neither. I would hate to have him for homeroom.' Minx nodded to herself and tried to walk away. She then grabbed a few snacks off of the tables. The snacks tasted weird but she would have to make do.

Minx pulled out her phone again while leaning against a wall. She ticked a few things off her checklist but then began to start reading an eBook. Eventually getting bored of it, she whispered, "What's the music like?" 'Meh. I'd give it a five out of ten at best. Shows what you know. I'd give a solid seven out of ten.'

@@TheLineTrotter, @@Secret Person

She liked the music but she really hated to dance. Minx then saw a couple of boys sitting and talking. She pushed down her dislike of people in general and calmly walked up to them. When she got closer, she realised they were talking about classes.

"Hello. My name is Minx. What are yours?" Minx asked them. There was no way she was telling them her real name.
