Not enough tender Princess Celestia romance in fan fictions? Heart warming, gentleness and maybe a little cheesy romance behavior etc.

 

I imagine canon Celestia would like to be treated with a gentleman's chivalry and would not act like some fandom's versions of her. So, would you agree? Is there not enough tender romance of Princess Celestia in fan fictions?

 

.... I personally would want more HIE romance, hah!

I dunno, I personally visualize her more as the cool and relaxed sort of lover, not afraid to mess with her mates head for the lulz. It's always been my view that long lives/immortality beget very impish personalities, as most things grow to bore them.

There's difference been joking out and than just being an outright sadist she appears to be in some stories.

I agree with you, but still. 'Tender' for me implies sappy and cheesy, to be honest. I think Princess C. is a head or two above falling for that.

I like the couple Celestia and Discord, but I haven't ever read a good story about them.

Yes, it doesn't have to be like that.  Yet, she doesn't have to be a dominatrix or Molestia enough said. Both type of stories which, I avoid like the plague.

 

I want to read canon Celestia, not false copies of her.
