So I guess this is my farewell.

Hey. I've been pretty inactive as of late. There's a reason for that.
I'm leaving MLP Forums. I've become disinterested in staying here and talking, posting discussions, and making new friends.
On top of that, and the increasing drama I see, e.g. "My opinion is better than yours", The increasing amount of "Why do people like this character" some members assuming every MLP fan has to conform to certain standards, the list goes on.
I'm also not going to pretend the staff are perfect, either. Far from it. I see why members like Ghostie, and some others left.
While I haven't had any run-ins with the staff, my point still stands. This is not the air we want to have for new members. They'll be turned off and go somewhere else.
I could stay and post in the two topics I follow, but the one is pretty much dead, so that's a no-go, and the other one is getting the same way.
Anyway, it's been a decent 2 years here, but I'm done, and I probably won't come back.
I'm not leaving the fandom, just this place.

It's sad to see you leave, but I understand.

 

If you ever want to visit another FIM forum, there's World of Equestria, where many former members and staffers migrated. I'm a member there, too. ^_^

 

And if you wish to return here, I'm more than welcome to see you here once more. ^_^

Pretty much everything you say is on point but that's just what I come to expect these days. I've been to a bunch of pony forums and have yet to encounter that ideal one.

I understand completely, I was close to leaving the forums, because of difficult people I had encountered here, trolls and outright jerks, and my growing weary attitude, as I was losing interest in posting my thoughts in posts, yet somehow I found the courage and motivation to come back, I know you are looking for something better, I hope you find some good friends in the fandom, both the show and the fandom have made it through tribulation and lamentation, as long as you can still enjoy MLP and have good friends, then more power to you.
