I didn't do one of these last year, but I remembered this year. I didn't see it coming until I saw the date. November 10th. On November 10th, 2016 I first joined the MLP forums. Back then the forums were quite more active and I look upon my entry into the forums with fond, nostalgic zeal. I miss how things used to be, honestly. Seeing the constant noise, activity, and tons of people posting on the forums made me feel like I was joining something full of blustering experiences and potential. Now that is a lot less substantial than it was back then, it still is there, but it's not what it was. It's not what kept me around in those days.
These days, I'm mainly active in the RP section, the one section of the forum that really drew me in. I met a lot of great people there for the first time, such as @Illiad Easle @Blitz Boom and @Catpone Cerberus. Hope you don't mind the mentions, just wanted to send a word of appreciation out to you three for sticking with the RP section for all this time!
I'm sitting here drinking some hot tea, and smiling to myself at the fond memories I've had over the past 7 years. So much has changed! Lots of things for the better, to be sure - others not so much, but that's just the way of things. Things change, whether it is for the better or worst. The changes that occur create novelty, and that novelty colors the times with unique colors that will never come again. Now as I sit here, I remember the original people I met. Some of them may not remember me, but that's okay, because I remember them quite fondly. The first friend I had on here was @GrimGrimoire and then I met @PonyMage. The two of them were the best friends I could have ever asked for. I also remember roleplaying with @Raven Rawne back in those times. I'd love to see you around again, too! I'd love to see you both around here again, one day. I remember my first day on the forums, how new and exciting it all was. I'd kill to feel that way again. 
I'll be waiting to see people from days long ago, even if it takes a life time. I'll stand there, and wait, with a proud smile on my face as the memories remain hopeful and strong. I don't know what the next 7 years will hold, but hey, it's bound to be a wild ride.
